The Front end process was fine, it was easy for them to take all my money and promise me everything would be great. Trying to contact anyone at the SLC location was impossible. The camper was barely full of gas, it was absolutely disgustingly dirty, the microwave looked like someone crapped in it, the blinds fell off going down the highway, the shelf in the frig was broken and fell out on the floor and shattered, the screen door handle was broken, the awning was rolled up backwards, the awning light did not work, the generator didnt work (and I specifically said I need a working generator for our dry camping), the shower was completely clogged with hair, yes we took the drain off and cleaned out the shower drain SO WE COULD USE IT!!!! Called their help line, WHAT A @#$% JOKE!!!!! NOT Happy, we had to deal with this for nearly 3 weeks...no help, no call, no answered calls. I have photos and videos of everything in this review....NEVER AGAIN El Monte!!!!!!!!!!!!

Het bed in de RV was erg slecht, we lagen in een kuil!
Het aanrechtblad was helemaal kapot, dit kan echt niet.
Verder geen problemen.

We had a big RV with everything we needed. Good and friendly service also on the road.

It was my first time with the rental an RV, I had good experience with all the information and it was easy the check in and check out of the RV. The prices are still high and some prices a bit to high like the inclusion of prices for check out and check in, is good to include prices but not that high.

I recently rented an RV from El Monte RV Salt Lake City and drove to Yellowstone National Park, so I wanted to share my experience for anyone considering a similar trip.

The initial quote was somewhat misleading because it only reflected the base RV rental price. At pickup, there were many additional costs for liability insurance, protection packages, return convenience options, kitchen kits, linen kits, and other add-ons. Once everything was included, the total cost increased significantly from the original quote.

I purchased liability insurance, the VIP Plus package, and the Gold package because I wanted a worry-free rental experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case. During the trip, we had a flat tire. I was told that, based on the damage pattern, it was not considered a manufacturing defect and was instead attributed to my driving, so I was responsible for the tire replacement cost. After paying for multiple higher-level protection packages, I was very disappointed to learn that an issue like this was still not covered.

We also experienced problems with the slide-out. Small items can easily fall into the corner near the slide-out rail, jam the mechanism, and prevent the slide from moving in or out properly. When this happened, it took a significant amount of time and effort to get it working again. Dealing with this in the middle of a road trip added a lot of unnecessary stress.

Overall, the RV experience involved far more unexpected costs, mechanical issues, and hassle than I anticipated. While traveling by RV may appeal to some people, I personally would not recommend it if your goal is a convenient and stress-free vacation. Based on my experience, I would much rather rent a regular car and stay in hotels.

We had a wonderful experience with El Monte. RV was picked and dropped in Salt Lake City where we received excellent service. RV was recent and fully equipped for a 2 weeks road trip.

Einfache Übernahme des Wohnmobils. Freundliches Personal. Eine undichte Stelle an einer Dachluke wurde prompt abgedichtet. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder.

Malísimo. Nos entregaron un rv dañado en la dirección. Perdimos el primer día de reserva en uno de los parque. Al otro día nos entregaron otro rv. También estaba fallado en los discos de freno. Cuando lo regresamos a los 6 días nos hicieron un pequeño descuento. Unos atrevidos.
