To complete a booking with Elite Cleaning Group, all clients must acknowledge and accept our terms and conditions. By proceeding with the booking, you confirmed that you understood and agreed to these terms.

It is the responsibility of the client to review the terms of service, which outline our cleaning standards and additional charges, prior to finalizing the appointment. All pricing was discussed upfront on the day of the booking. Since you declined to pay for the additional work due to your property condition required at that time, we cannot perform services that were not included in the final paid invoice.

Reviewing our terms of service would have clarified the standard operations for bond cleaning companies and the scope of our services.

Absolute scam business model.

As previous reviews indicated, we put down a $110 deposit to secure the booking and were quoted $505 for a two bedroom, one bathroom unit. They then tried to argue that standard bond cleaning items were not included and the place required $910 extra worth of cleaning which would take the total bill to $1,410! Absolute ridiculous the apartment was tidy. I have reported their parent company Luxe Cleanings Pty Ltd (ACN 675 280 056) to NSW Fair Trading. If they attempt to do the same to you, I recommend contacting your bank who will be helpful in revising the deposit charge.

We strongly reject the claim that our business operates as a scam.

Before confirming any booking, we clearly provide our Terms & Conditions and detailed cleaning checklist. Customers are required to review and accept these before paying the holding deposit.

In this case, after inspection, it became clear that the condition of the property required additional work beyond the standard checklist scope. As stated in our terms, if a property requires services outside the original agreed scope, a revised quote is issued before any work proceeds.

No additional charges were processed. No work was forced. No payment was taken beyond the holding deposit. The customer chose not to proceed with the revised quote, and the booking was cancelled accordingly.

We understand that moving out can be stressful. However, pricing adjustments based on actual property condition are standard practice across the industry. Transparency is important to us, which is why we document properties thoroughly and communicate any changes before commencing work.

We are comfortable cooperating with NSW Fair Trading if required, as all our procedures align with consumer regulations.

This is business is a scam.

This is business is a scam.
We put down a $100 deposit to secure the booking and were quoted $500 for a 3 bed clean. They rocked up with two workers that had no cleaning tools, no clothes or professionalism. They then tried to tell me the place required approx $900 extra worth of cleaning. Which would take the total bill to $1400…. Absolute ridiculous the house was tidy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I have reported them to fair work for review.

Your booking was cancelled after our team conducted an on-site inspection and determined that the property condition required a revised quotation of $1,500 due to the level of contamination, mould, and overall condition. You chose not to proceed with the revised quote and cancelled the service from your end.

I am only giving them a 1 star as there…

I am only giving them a 1 star as there is no lower than that. They turned up nearly 2hrs before my appointment time. Then turned up late at the requested time.

There was dirt and cobwebs everywhere, toilet was meant to be deep cleaned and still looked dirty. They didn’t even scrub the shower. Cobwebs everywhere and the house smelt of bleach. Hadn’t even cleaned the floors. When trying to organise them to come and re-clean they are saying that I didn’t pay the extras to have it clean deeply even though there check list provided these items were to be cleaned. They want to argue about it and advised that they only come out to re-clean once even though there website says as long as you let them know 72hr after clean they would come out and do it. Honestly they don’t want to come out and re-clean at all and want to justify there poor service.

I am having to clean it myself as there is no way I will be getting my bond back. Funny how there say 100% bond back guarantee. That is bull. No don’t waste your money with this!

We strongly dispute the claims made in this review.

Our team attended and completed the cleaning according to the scope of work that was booked. We have timestamped photos and internal documentation of the job.

At no point did we decline a re-clean. In fact, we offered for the team to return the same day to address any concerns. This offer was refused.

The concerns raised related to minor areas that were communicated while the job was still in progress and before a final inspection had been completed. A small isolated spot does not invalidate the entirety of the work carried out.

Regarding “deep cleaning” — additional services beyond the selected package are clearly explained at the time of booking. Our checklist reflects what is included under each package, and any upgrades are quoted transparently.

Our 72-hour re-clean policy applies to items within the agreed scope of work, and we honour that policy consistently.

We take our bond back guarantee seriously and have successfully completed thousands of end of lease cleans across Sydney. We remain open to fair and reasonable resolution, but we cannot accept inaccurate statements about our service.

Save yourself the hassle and book another company

Booked an end of lease clean and was quoted $685 + GST. Cleaner turned up half a day late and quoted me $1,584 + GST for “extras” (i.e a total cost of $2,219 + GST).

I declined to proceed with the clean which then left me with less than 48 hours to find another cleaner. Ended up getting the place cleaned for $700 in total.

They refused to refund my $100 deposit - which is annoying but I accept the bloke who turned up had to organise his day. However potential customers should be aware of this when booking.

Biggest issue with this company is pricing. Unless you ask them to clean every single possible item in the house they will charge it as an “extra”. For instance I booked an end of lease clean but needed to pay them “extra” to clean the walls and to scrub the floor in the Kitchen. I don’t understand what is included in the standard end of lease clean if these items are “extras”.

When I informed the admin I would write a review which reflected my experience they threatened to sue me for “defamation” through “NCAT” and the “Local Claims Court”. I don’t really know where to start in response to such a ridiculous statement. Perhaps that is why there are no google reviews for this company (which is odd in and of itself).

I note my review is consistent with a number of the other independent negative reviews for this company on this website.

In my opinion renters are better off booking with anyone else in order to save themselves the headache. If you are reading this and wondering whether to take the risk - in my opinion you should not.

EDIT: My Booking ID was 14424. I note the company does not ask those who leave five star reviews for their Booking IDs (make of that what you will).

Would not recommend whatsoever.

We had an end of lease clean last week for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment & it was left in such a state that was not acceptable. Multiple emails and calls later and nothing has been resolved. They just stop replying and don’t answer the phone.

My mother and I ended up having to re-clean both bathrooms, re-vacuum and re-mop the entire apartment to ensure we’d get our bond back.

Like mentioned, their customer service & communication has been horrendous. My husband and I have both tried to email and call multiple times to work it out with them and they just ignore all attempts!

I’d hire someone else and not waste your time, or money.

We would like to clarify that it is not correct that we stopped responding — all emails were replied to. Please note our office is not open 24/7, so calls made after hours may not always be answered immediately.

For Booking ID 14427, the cleaning was completed as per the agreed checklist. Floors, bathrooms, and kitchen were all cleaned, and even additional wax removal (outside scope) was done at no extra charge. The toilet issue mentioned was pre-existing damage and documented.

Minor touch-ups on reflective surfaces can sometimes remain and could have been fixed in a short revisit. However, we were not given the opportunity to re-clean, and no official real estate inspection report was provided — which is required under our re-clean policy.

As per standard industry practice, the final assessment of an end-of-lease clean is made by the real estate agent, not the tenant. Our policy provides a re-clean based on the official inspection report.

Unfortunately:

We were not given the opportunity to return and rectify

The client chose to re-clean independently before allowing our re-clean service and started asking requesting a 50% refund for minor touch-ups that could be resolved quickly without allowing rectification is not reasonable, and does not align with agreed service terms.

SCAM! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Came out on the day of the clean, then quoted double the original price for 'extras' on top of the $600 basic quote. When we said to just do the basic and we will do the extras they ghosted us, didn't turn up and when we called multiple times they said it 'wasn't worth their time' but also wouldn't refund out deposit. SCAM! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Find another cleaner.

Do yourself a favor and find another cleaning service. At the very least have them come by first to give you a quote otherwise you’re going to come away with a much larger bill than expected. I ended up paying $1100 for a one bedroom apartment. The website is confusing (and I might even say misleading) as to what the total cost will be. They show up and it’s too late to make any changes then tact on hundreds of dollars of addons. The landlord complained about the quality of the things they cleaned and they needed to come twice to make sure he was satisfied. The excuse they gave was that they thought it wasn’t the final inspection. In reality I told them that the final inspection was not until one week and I think it just got lost in translation. Regardless, I paid for an end of lease cleaning so that’s what I should have got. When it came time for the reclean they confirmed it but then never actually showed up. That’s absolutely not ok especially because I was on a tight timeframe with the next tenant coming. I had to call and email several times to get them to commit to coming. I even had to insist on paying more for some additional add ons like the oven and blinds just to get them out there. I would never use them again and I have made sure to let everyone I know to avoid them as well.
