This insurance company will screw you over I was in an accident while driving my girlfriend car and she was in the car with me. After the accident we went to the hospital they pay her hospital bill but not mine.Tho

I have always heard the Elephant had the best prices so when I saw my policy rise when I added the fourth vehicle I decided to shop around, and people weren’t wrong. BUT I just got an email threatening to raise my rate bc they could t verify coverage for TWO years… I’ve always carried insurance! I assume it was a just bc it was a much smaller company but it gave me a week deadline. I’m glad I noticed it! Now, let’s see if what I sent in will suffice.

I must say the worst communication …
I must say the worst communication insurance company ever.less than 5 stars would be giving more than was given .with the price of insurance not be able to speak to an agent is one but not being able to understand the agent when in a crisis situation .my son was in an accident and the car was not drivable .needed to be towed , we called the emergency number and after 6 called, that's right 6 calls being transfered to wrong dept .gave up paid for towing . Claim never filed till Monday started at 8 still on the line at 10am with no resolution. How is it I called the other parties insurance company because it was there fault and got assistance in 20 min . LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PROVIDE TODAY!

I was certain I canceled and apparently I did not and they keep tryign to charge my card for a monthly amt now prop going to get to collections. They have far too many people calling you as agents and it makes things easlily to be confused

I was involved in an accident where car was written off. The entire claim process from start to settlement by the Elephant car insurance team was amazing. Accident was on a Wednesday afternoon and fair settlement figure given Friday morning the same week. Everything done on line was so efficient. Very highly recommend.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I’m not a customer, but an elephant client ran a red light and hit my car while my family and I were on our way to a concert in Atlanta.
Elephant called two days later admitting fault.
Since then we’ve had nothing but added stress. The assigned adjuster to our case never answers the phone. It always goes to voicemail. In the nearly three weeks now since our accident, he has answered his phone one time.
He helped us get a rental car, but only booked it for a week. Meanwhile, they still haven’t told us what they’ll give us for the totalled car. So now hertz is charging me daily for a rental.
I’ve tried calling them every which way to get someone to help with zero response from anyone who can help.
I’ve never experienced such a lack of care in my adult life. The only way for me to speak to a human at elephant insurance is for me to call in and say I’m shopping for a new policy. Then their sales people can help me connect to my adjusters voicemail again.
The accident was on 2/22 and now it’s 3/17. I’ve tried reaching our adjuster nearly every day and his phone doesn’t ring - just goes straight to voicemail. Even his colleagues in sales who tell me they are leaving an urgent callback memo get nothing done.
At this point I’ve filed a complaint with the the state insurance commissioner and I’ve had to get an attorney involved.

Service was great, price didnt compare
The two customer service agents that i spoke with were phenomenal. They tried everything they could to get my price down so that I could stay, but they did were still about $50 higher than a different company. I was with elephant for 7 years and am sad to go, but money talks and they just couldnt make that happen.
