My son enjoyed almost all aspects of the trip, excluding part of the food. He stated that the included meals were simply not enough food, and when he would ask for more, he was told he could not have more food. This is after walking for 9 to 11 hours per day. The food he purchased on his own was delicious and it was excellent quantities but the food that was included by EF tours was limited. My son is 16 years old, a growing young man who can eat and needs a lot of food to keep going. This would be the case for most 16 year-old boys. I’m actually shocked of this news and failed to understand why his food was limited at the end of the day when he worked so hard throughout the tour maintaining his energy. My expectation is at EF tours would reimburse for part of this cost and address the issue immediately. My daughter has expressed an interest in attending this same tour three years from now, but I am considering otherwise.
