Just a heads-up for anyone considering a purchase from Edloe & Finch, I ordered a table online and discovered signs of wood-boring beetle damage shortly after delivery. The leg had multiple exit holes and frass typical of infestation. I contacted customer service, they wouldn’t honor a damage claim.

This kind of issue isn’t just cosmetic—it could indicate deeper infestation, which isn’t something most buyers expect to deal with on new furniture. I strongly recommend inspecting your item thoroughly upon arrival and checking for fine holes or powdery residue. If you see any, act quickly.

It’s disappointing that the retailer wouldn’t take responsibility, but I’m posting this to help others avoid the same hassle.

Terrible quality and awful customer service

I paid extra for “white glove” delivery for a $2k couch, coffee table and two end tables. After the delivery team left(and took all of the boxes), I noticed damage and MOLD on the coffee table. Immediately called their customer service and was told to do it all online. Back and forth emails with them as they kept asking for more photos and even a video. Provided everything and was told they could not take the coffee table back as I no longer had the packing materials. I never had them in the first place - paid extra to have it taken away. Terrible quality and worse customer service. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service! Worst experience ever! Don’t order from them!!!! My order has been delayed and they refuse to communicate with me about this. I am canceling my order and getting all of my money back. Calling a lawyer as well. Class action lawsuit is not a bad idea.

Purchased the ashbury sleeper sofa, July…

Purchased the ashbury sleeper sofa July 2023, today the wood base panel fell off while I was moving the couch to mop underneath. The couch was super firm, and springy meaning you can hear springs moving when you shift position… but I managed to just ignore that bc it’s a cheap sofa and you get what you pay for but it’s just not comfortable never was and it surely hasn’t become
More comfortable. I’ve resorted to sitting on top of two quilts folded in half to add more cushion. Also not very deep seated as the couch appears so on the website. I’m only 5’6 and when sitting all the way back it doesn’t feel like a deep cozy sit so most ppl who come over lean to the side with a pillow. I’d say don’t buy this couch or take this one off of my hands for peanuts, I’m shopping for a better one!

Do not purchase anything from this…

Do not purchase anything from this company!! The couches are low quality and NOT worth the cost. We purchased a Kova from Albany Park I completely regret it, there is no support at all and I’m constantly having to “fix” the couch cushions/fluff them. I also believe this company cherry picks reviews or falsifies reviews in order to elevate their “star” status. The company claims this is not true, however I was unable to locate my review (which was not a four stars and constructively critical) which tells me otherwise.
Stay away buyer beware!!

Damaged chair

One of my chair leg came damaged or cracked, i tried calling, emailing numerous times with pictures with no response. The calls just goes to Voicemail. Looking at these reviews it sounds like we'll never hear back on any followups, in which I'll raise it with my credit card company.

Worst Experience

We are having the worst customer service experience, mirroring the damaged packaging below. In addition, Edloe Finch’s customer service phone line goes routinely into voicemail. Numerous emails, photos and descriptions later, we still have a damaged sofa bottom that has not yet been picked up or replaced, plus two damaged brackets that we need and eventually have to attach ourselves. We have seen the furniture and if you are lucky, you get a good deal and comfortable seating. It sounds like many of us who report here are not having that experience! Hoping that someone at the company is paying attention and that our nightmare will be resolved soon!

Terrible Packaging and Delivery. OK service.

(adding review here as well as Albany Park given it's the same company)

We ordered the Albany Park sectional. It was delivered within about 3 weeks. The boxes and packaging arrived in the worst state I've ever seen. Ripped boxes, huge holes, packing tape torn off and parts of the sofa coming out. The packaging looked like it had been deliberately destroyed and mangled. So, of course, two of the six pieces were damaged. Albany Park sent a replacement and same story -- ripped and torn boxes and the worst packaging. And the replacement pieces were of course damaged. So, Albany Park sends out a second replacement package. Exactly the same story -- torn, ripped and destroyed boxes and barely any interior packaging. The UPS driver said it was "the worst packaging he'd ever seen" and that he was "embarrassed to deliver it". He even encouraged us to refuse the delivery because that was well within our rights given the heavily damaged box and packaging. Awful. After multiple replacement deliveries, one finally made it that did not have damage. Albany Park customer service was fairly responsive and sent out replacements without much fuss (I took a ton of pictures as evidence). That said, by the third replacement, they offered us a measly $75 to accept a damaged arm rest on a $2,000 couch. Rude. I ordered a new couch, not a damaged one. Why would I accept a puny $75 off for a damaged arm rest? Ridiculous. I recommend doing yourself a favor and avoiding Albany Park or their sister company Edloe Finch. Worst packaging I've ever seen, honestly.

Do not purchase from them…

I wish I saw these reviews before purchasing. I strongly advise against purchasing from this company. I bought a chair from them but it didn’t work for me and I didn’t like it. I’m basically forced to keep it because the return process is so complicated and so expensive. They want to charge me hundreds to return a chair. For such expensive furniture the service is absolutely shocking just skip this company there are so many better ones to work with

Read BBB reviews. Just a horrible company

I want to strongly encourage you to read the reviews on BBB before purchasing. I wish I would’ve.

This company is unprofessional and has many reviews on defective items being received and then charging for the return. My item came defective and the material is extremely cheap, which I am assuming is what aided in the the furniture becoming damaged while shipping. The two people on customer service, Hope and Charmaine, are painfully unprofessional. They are also trying to charge me 300 to ship it back and want me to bring the couch down to the ground floor to meet the carrier. Just incompetent and not worth the headache!

DO NOT BUY FROM EDLOE FINCH!!!

RUN! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

I ordered the Dakota Dining Table Set (white). It was advertised having 5 stars and listed as a "best seller" on their site, however if you actually go in and read the reviews on the site, none are for the table or Gramercy chairs - the 5 star reviews are all for a different chair.

The Gramercy chairs are a complete nightmare and the instructions were a joke - not even the guy I had on the phone in Customer Service could understand them. This is false advertisement at its best. There were screws to assemble the chairs, but nothing to screw them into. No holes, nothing, and the material the chairs are made of is just cheap.

Unfortunately, even though it was falsely advertised, it is now on me to pay to return junk of a set back to them.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I bought the Kova sectional in 2020 in light grey. It arrived on time, is very pretty, and was difficult to assemble. We got it assembled, and a few months in one of the bases broke, making it uncomfortable and unstable to sit on. We reached out to them, they gave us a ship date and we received the replacement, no problem. All was well. A few months later, the same piece broke AGAIN, in the same spot! Shortly after that, the other side broke in the exact same place! We now have had 3 broken bases in the exact same spot. We do not use the couches aggressively. It is just my husband and I at home, not overweight (I'm well under 200 pounds, my husband is just about 200), no kids, no dogs, or crazy parties. Just the two of us adults sitting calmly on the couch after work. There is clearly something wrong with manufacturing/quality of this particular piece and how it is put together for it to break 3 times in 2 years with normal use. So I reach out again, they won't move forward without a video of the breaks, but my husband has a broken foot so I have to wait a few months until he is better so we can disassemble the couch and flip it back over, cut open the bottom and send them a video. Which is fine, I wouldn't have been able to assemble it myself without him. Because it is HARD.

So I email again. They offer to send new pieces again. I have to continue to follow up with them. This is now in December of 2021. By the time they get back to me, they tell me the ETA is March. I'm not happy about it, but ok. I understand. March comes and goes and I hear nothing from Albany Park. So I email them on March 30th. They let me know it is delayed another 3 months, this time until June. I email them in June, it is delayed again until mid July. It is now past mid-July, and surprise surprise, I have yet to hear from them. So I email asking for an update. I am now told it will be October... 10 months from when I first reached out! Which of course I don't believe. I ask for a refund and they will only refund the price of the two base pieces, as if I could go buy those two base pieces from somewhere else and get a working couch. I have spent more of the last 2 years of owning this couch having it be broken and unable to sit on most of it then I have owned a usable couch. Absolutely ridiculous. This is from a company that offers a 10 year full warranty and a lifetime warranty for replacements.

TLDR; DO NOT BUY. The base of the couch has broken in the same place 3 separate times in 2 years with normal use. They have pushed me off delaying replacing it for 1-3 months at time for 10 months now. They will not refund the couch despite purchasing it with a lifetime guarantee. Customer service is horrible, non-communicative and not proactive at all. They do not care.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. I purchased a chair from them June 23rd. Their delivery company schedule a day to deliver the chair but with only a few optional times so I selected a morning time and took the day off of work. About 10 minutes before the scheduled delivery they called and told me they had to cancel the delivery. When I called and spoke with someone with the delivery team they gave me only two other times where they could attempt to deliver the chair again. Neither one of those times worked for me as I had to work and was not going to take off another day at work. I asked the woman with delivery services what was the next option and she said she did not know and said I would likely need to cancel the delivery which really irritated me. So I sent an email to Edloe Finch asking to cancel the delivery because there was no options available to deliver the chair that works for me and was told I could not cancel as it was still out for delivery. Clearly they didn’t read my message and after some back and forth the lady with edloe finch agreed to cancel the delivery. A couple weeks later I get a message that they have the chair being sent back to them and my delivery fee is $223.16 which I am responsible for even though their delivery company was unable to deliver the chair. I said that was unacceptable and so far no response. I highly recommend that you do not use this company. They have an awful delivery service and an awful customer service. They have wasted my time and now I’m
Out $223 because they couldn’t deliver the chair. Absolute scam!

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I ordered my sofabed on March 2nd. Couldn't get a fabric swatch for nearly a month. Finally got the swatch and I said they could send the sofabed. I was told within two weeks. They use CEVA Logistics which was terrible to deal with. Package was completely damaged. Edloe still hasn't gotten me a replacement. Strung along and strung along some more. This has put me in a dire position, as it is for a rental with people coming in a few days. No one answers my calls. It's now May 19th. They have had my thousand dollars since the beginning of March and now I'm up against the wall. What a dysfunctional company! Customer service people are nice but can't get results from other departments and have no power to make things happen.

Regretful Purchase

When we received our Harlow Sectional couch, we thought the cushions looked a bit discolored but thought it was the lighting. After more consideration, we decided to write to customer service and we sent app new covers right away. When the new ones came in, it was obvious that the cushions were in fact discolored with dirt that looked like they were left out in a warehouse. When we washed the original covers, the water was disgusting confirming that we were sent a dirty couch. A year and a half later, we have had to sew 3 of the cushion covers where they split at the seems and the seat cushions are now lopsided and uneven, even after removing the covers and trying to fluff them back in to place. I have regretted purchasing this couch since the day we got it..
