We built eCarBookers because we got tired of watching people get surprised at the rental counter. After years working in the car rental industry, we knew exactly how the business model works: advertise a low price, then make the real money on insurance upsells, excess charges, and add-ons at the desk. The customer who booked what looked like a great deal ends up paying significantly more — and often feels pressured or confused when it happens. eCarBookers is our answer to that. We are a transparent car hire broker. The price you see when you book is the price you pay — no hidden fees, and the excess amount is always shown clearly before you confirm. You pay the balance at the desk on collection, not in full months ahead. If you'd rather drive with no excess at all, that cover is available directly from the supplier when you collect the car — provided by the hire company itself, never a third-party insurer, so once added there's no excess to pay and no claim to file. Optional extras, like additional drivers or child seats, may still be available at the desk if you need them, but nothing is sprung on you that you didn't already know about. We work directly with carefully selected local suppliers in each destination, negotiating rates that let us show you everything upfront — the price, the excess, the choices — rather than stripping the price down and charging it back later. We are a small, founder-led business. That means when something goes wrong — and occasionally in travel, things do — you can reach a real person quickly. We include a WhatsApp contact on every voucher for exactly this reason. We started with the destinations we know best and are expanding carefully, adding new locations only when we are confident in the supplier relationship. If you have rented with us, thank you.
