Looking into this, I can see you emailed us, but unfortunately, it was after we had closed for the Christmas period so, unfortunately, we were unable to reply to you until today.
I can only apologise for the experience you had with UPS and the customs charges, however as international orders do not pay VAT upon payment, you would need to pay customs and taxes once the parcel arrives in the destination country, this is the same for all international orders and is subject to the courier, we have no control over the charges or taxes as these are calculated by the destination country.
