I had a terrible experience on eBay Singapore after falling victim to a scam. The seller did not send the correct product and evaded questions, and despite providing clear proof of the deception, eBay’s resolution process totally unhelpful, and ultimately did not protect me as a buyer.

Communication with customer support was frustrating. Responses felt scripted, with no real effort to understand my case or the evidence I submitted. Instead of holding the seller accountable, the process left me feeling like my concerns were being brushed aside. eBay encourages scamming and is a very good scamming platform. Do not use eBay.

Terrible website, is it even functioning? Tried selling something, thery dont accept any payment method besides money order and cheque and collecting in person.

When you click "contact us" Page is broken. Many pages and FAQ pages are broken or outdated. I am shocked this is Ebay.

Junk. The Singapore page should be shut down as it is not fit for purpose, and let us sellers, list on the USA one and solve the ebay managed payments system

Ebay is really going downhill for sellers fast ever since they untethered from paypal its accelerated

eBay is downright rubbish. It is no wonder this platform is not popular in Singapore!

My experience: I have an eBay account when I was in the UK which started 15 years ago. I have 100% feedback as both seller and buyer. As I moved to stay in Singapore for a period of time, I thought it would only be right to change my registered address to the country I reside in. When I returned to the UK, eBay absolutely REFUSED to allow me to change my registered address citing all sorts of excuses like financial rules and them having to comply with anti money laundering rules and prevention of fraud. This rule is plain illogical as I am no longer physically living in Singapore. In fact, isn't such refusal to allow a change in the registered address to the correct country facilitating money laundering and fraud?? Simply ludicrous!

I needed the change in my registered address for 2 main reasons: (1) to resume my seller business but they refused to let me do it and instead told me to open a new account with 0% feedback! and (2) the search algorithm as a buyer with an account registered in Singapore while I am in UK is far from ideal - in fact very bad - because many items do not seem to show up in my searches.

I hope this review serves as a warning to all who move around the world a lot and live in different countries. DO NOT use eBay.
