Firstly I would like to say a HUGE…

Firstly I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Matt and his team at Hedge End as you guys have truly been fantastic throughout this experience. We have had a number of issues with our installations which were nothing to do with Easy Bathrooms and each time, Matt or Brendan have been there to help me get whatever has been needed. The quality of the products is superb and the first of my three bathrooms look fabulous. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matt, Hedge End and Easy Bathrooms. Thank you.

Vero Composite Code Panel

Please see attached a copy of email sent to Trading Standards, I will be contacting Citizen Advise. I have also contacted Easy Bathroom consumer service and awaiting there response, so this may change.

Morning

My wife and I went into Easy Bathrooms showroom in Hedge End Southampton recently to look at there range of Shower Panel as we were redoing our ensuite.

We choose the Vero Midas Stone composite cord shower panels, which we ordered the next day ( 4 off )

We asked the sale representative in store if the shower panels required any trims, we were informed that no trims were required.

The panels have since been delivered and two have been installed ie the back panel and one side panel.

It has since come to light that Easy Bathroom advertise on there website that the Vero Midas Stone composite cord panels do actually require internal corner trims to achieve a neat finish, please see attached screenshot.

I feel bitterly aggrieved and let down by Easy Bathroom given that we specifically asked this question and were misinformed and told no trims were required.

Had we been informed trims were required we would have purchased them will the panels.

I have email Easy Bathroom and am awaiting there response.

However, I now feel that the two panel already fitted will have to be removed at our own cost and new one purchase with Internal trims so that the professional required finish can be achieved.

Am I within my right to request these panel be replaced free of charge as we where misinformed in the first instanced.

A very positive ordering experience.

My husband and I were pretty clueless when making decisions around a new bathroom - we just knew we wanted one! Initially we visited Easy Bathrooms in Havant where we were greeted by Matt. We sat with Matt, shared some ideas (which were incredibly limited, sorry Matt), saw some previous designs and then had a wander around the showroom. There were things we noticed we definitely liked, and things we definitely didn't like, which we felt awkward about because we were so indecisive, however, Matt was very reassuring that it is just as helpful to notice things didn't like, alongside the things that we did.
Our initial bathroom process started in June but for one reason and another, including holidays, existing plans etc our bathroom plan slowed down but Matt remained very professional and kept communicating with us. Fast forward to now, we visited last week in Matt's main base, the Southampton branch where we finally made a full commitment to purchasing our bathroom! Even on the day we went in, we weren't fully secure in our tile choice, but with further support and more time to look around a different showroom, we both found tiles that we liked. Yet again, Matt changed our design without so much of a sigh, which given I'd already asked for 3 or 4 different designs was admirable from him.
Our bathroom is due to be delivered in November and I look forward to writing another review on this process, but so far, the designing and ordering process has been fairly seamless and very well supported. We very much appreciate the time and effort Matt has given us so far.

I wouldn’t buy anything from Easy Bathrooms again

I went with my husband to the store in Hedge End on a Sunday to look for a complete bathroom set.
I saw a shower enclosure I liked and asked if it would fit the measurements that I had and was assured it would as it came in different sizes.
The young man was on his own and didn’t seem to have a lot of knowledge about the products when asked certain questions.
After choosing a toilet, sink, shower enclosure, towel rail and tray we paid for the items.
Later when looking at the invoice I discovered the shower enclosure wasn’t the one I had chosen.
I called Easy Bathrooms on Monday querying this and was told the shower I had asked for didn’t come in those measurements so a different one was on the invoice but the salesman hadn’t told us that at the time. I didn’t even know what this shower looked like until they sent me a picture.
I took a day off work for it all to be delivered and when the lorry arrived the electric pallet carrier didn’t work so was told that I would have to have it delivered the following day which I wouldn’t be able to do as I had work and had to be really firm about that so in the end the driver returned at 6pm with a manual pallet lift.
Unfortunately when the plumber went to fit the shower enclosure he realised it wouldn’t fit due to having to have plaster redone in bathroom and with the tiles he measured it wouldn’t fit due be 5mm too big.
I called Easy Bathrooms to see if they had a smaller enclosure but they didn’t so I asked to return the original shower screen for a refund.
They asked for photos of the enclosure and when I sent them they refused to refund me because the cellophane wrapping around the cardboard box was broken!!
In their terms and conditions it states damaged packaging would not be refunded but to refuse a refund due to the plastic wrapping around the items and the fact the plumber had got the instructions out is absolutely ridiculous.
I just feel really cross about the whole thing and I wouldn’t buy a washer from them in the future.
Very unhelpful and unprofessional after spending over £2000 with them.

Brilliant from start to finish

Brandon has been brilliant from start to finish. Helped us with the design, listened to our needs and concerns. He didn't mind last minute changes to our order and kept us informed on the progress. Product wise - we love our bathroom and are really happy with the quality of each item.
After sale care is brilliant too. So it's 5/5 from us.

Staff great, just sample stock info sketchy

Staff friendly and helpful across multiple stores. Great prices and delivery on time and no problems. Only issue is trying to accurately find out which store has the sample stock you need. One store would say the other had it - ended up calling them all!?

Our installer said the components were good quality and fitted well.
