As stated in our terms and conditions, EAMA Group strictly prohibits sellers, their agents, or auctioneers from bidding on any item once the reserve price has been reached. This policy is in place to maintain the integrity and fairness of our auctions and is enforced rigorously and monotired by 3rd party regulated software used by thousands of auction houses worldwide.

The reserve price for each item is set exclusively by the seller, not by EAMA Group. Our role as an intermediary is to provide a platform for buyers and sellers to connect, and we do not influence or determine the reserve prices.

We understand your concern and want to reassure you that we are committed to transparency and fairness in all transactions.

Firstly, it’s important to clarify that EAMA Group acts solely as an intermediary between buyers and sellers. We do not own, inspect, or handle the items listed on our platform. The descriptions and photos are provided directly by the vendors, and while we encourage accurate representations, we also recommend that buyers conduct thorough inspections prior to finalising any purchase.

Any vendors found to purposely mislead customers are removed from our platform.

Regarding the collection process, we do not meet customers directly as items are collected directly from the vendor.

Our records show no communication from you to our team, so we presume any contact you made was with the vendor - All our calls are recorded and our staff would never ever consider being rude to customers.

As items sold through our platform are trade sales, they are sold as-is and without warranty, as outlined in our terms and conditions. We strive to ensure the process is as transparent as possible for both buyers and sellers, and we regret if there was any misunderstanding.

We understand that this experience was frustrating, and we appreciate your feedback, which we will use to improve the clarity of our processes.

Many of our clearance items sell for an average of 10% of their retail price, reflecting industry-standard discounts of up to 90%. Similarly, our vehicles are typically priced at or below CAP values, aligning with industry norms.

We understand that starting prices and reserves may vary. Items that don’t sell initially are either removed from auction or have their reserves reduced over time to encourage a sale. With over 350 vendors and more than 3,000 live lots online at any given time, our goal is to create diverse opportunities for buyers while supporting our vendors’ needs.

Regarding repeat listings, many of our vendors offer items in bulk. To maintain variety and avoid overwhelming any single auction, these items are listed in batches over time. This approach ensures a steady flow of new opportunities for our buyers while allowing vendors to maximise exposure for their items.

We also appreciate your feedback about shipping costs being calculated at checkout. This method ensures that shipping fees accurately reflect current rates based on the number and size of items purchased. For those looking to save on shipping, we always offer buyers the option to collect items themselves or arrange their own transport services.

We would like to clarify the situation regarding your transaction, as your review contains several inaccuracies.

After successfully winning an item in our auction, the 24-hour payment deadline was not met. The order was placed on 02/04/2024, but payment was only received six days later, on 09/04/2024. Our terms clearly state that payments must be made within 24 hours to secure the item and avoid late payment charges. Additionally, our vendors are contractually obligated to hold a vehicle for no longer than three days in case of payment delays.

Unfortunately, as a direct result of your late payment, the vendor—who operates independently from our auction platform—chose to sell the item elsewhere assuming that you were not intending to pay. This resulted in a loss of auction fees for us on this vehcile.

When we became aware of the situation, we immediately offered you two resolutions:

1. A full refund minus our loss of commission, incurred as a direct result of the payment delay.
2. A replacement item of comparable value.

As a goodwill gesture, we also agreed to waive the late payment charges in both resolutions.

You chose to accept the refund with the deduction for the commission loss, and we promptly processed it. This resolution was agreed upon and confirmed by you at the time, over four months ago.

As a small, family-run business, we are committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all transactions. However, we also depend on buyers to adhere to the agreed-upon terms and timelines to ensure smooth operations for both parties. While we regret that you feel dissatisfied, we trust that our actions were reasonable and in full compliance with our terms of sale.
