Got a great deal on my bike in the first place, but the communication whilst waiting for the order was great, and then the aftersales care when I had an issue was exceptional, specifically Darren, who I couldn't fault at all. Would definitely use these guys again!
Fantastic service!
I originally ordered the Oxygen S Cross as a surprise for my husband. Danny had been helping me with the order. Unfortunately just 2 days before the bike was due to be delivered the quality control found an issue with the handle bar and therefore were not going to be able to get my order out as hoped for. Danny was immediately on the case and was able to source another bike (upgraded) and delivered in the 2 days that I needed the bike for. He followed up after the delivery to ensure we were happy with the replacement and we certainly were. I cannot fault the customer service at all. Would definitely recommend this company and will definitely be buying our future bikes from here too! Thanks again for all your help!

I have changed my review on e-bikes direct. I respect them a little more now. They have finally listened to me, and put things right. I had to get the attention of the manager Garf, who swiftly set about putting things right. My previous review was very abrasive but truthful. I've asked them to sort out the issue I had with my wheel, a clear manufacturing issue, and they did that, but it took too long, hence 4 stars. Garf was very professional and apologetic, and as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience caused he chucked a couple of free new tyres my way. I'm a man of my word, and I promised them I would change my review if they did the right thing, and for that I commend them. So glad to get this sorted in the end, thank you e-bikes direct, I appreciate you stepping up and putting things right

I cannot recommend Ebikes direct highly enough. My pal recommended them to me so I owe him a pint or two. I initially ordered a bike my pal has along with a pannier set. However, when it arrived there was some damage to it so quick as a flash they said "We have another in stock so will send tomorrow" Next day their GM contacted me to say that not now available. So, the GM was very patient talking me (a 75 year young lad) and we agreed on another and better one for me. He waived the extra £100 and included lights FOC to that the original had. When it arrived I did not like the panniers so asked for an alternative happy to pay the extra £20 but that was waived too "for inconvenience caused". I also have to add their courier delivery company is fantastic with excellent email/text/phone comms as to timing. Their team is fantastic too, all polite and ready to help. Exemplary customer service!!!

I brought electric bike in 2021
I brought electric bike in 2021. I sent battery back on 18/1/22 which they still have the date is now 22/2/22 but they can’t find a fault with battery they want the bike back they charge £17.99 for a box (so keep the original box) and twice now they have let me down for collecting the bike I sat in all day last week and the courier didn’t arrive. The manager told me last week it’s booked in for Wednesday and once again it hasn’t been booked in so it’s now another week for the bike to be collected. The after care is shocking I wouldn’t recommend this company
Great service
My experience with ebikes direct has been great. I bought a new ebike in 2020, unfortunately the wrong bike was delivered but they sorted this out with minimal dramas to me. I then had an issue with the battery, which was covered under warranty, and again they sorted this out with no fuss. It took a while because of COVID and parts supply, but that's the same with everything and still has effects as I know through my own line of work. They were extremely helpful for me recently whilst searching for a part for my bike and went above and beyond to help me. Great service, thanks guys.

Great customer service! I bought a bmx for my son for Christmas, the bike arrived quicker than expected. Packaged well and easy to put together.
Unfortunately the frame was too large for him so I purchased a smaller one which again arrived promptly. The return of the unwanted bike was very straight forward, I re-boxed it (worth keeping hold of the box until you know you’re keeping the bike) and sent them a photo. Collection was then arranged for a fee which was deducted from my refund. Hassle free return and friendly service from Davey.
Davey - an absolute legend
I purchased a bmx for my son for Christmas and he finally got around to riding it in January and unfortunately it had a bearing in the rear wheel break so I contacted customer support (who responded to me with in an hour or so) and dealt with davey who was so kind and polite and arranged for a replacement rear wheel to be sent out I am amazed by how quickly davey dealt with this issue, davey is an asset to the company.

We purchased a bike in November for our son’s Christmas gift. It arrived earlier than anticipated and was superb.
Our experience with E-bikesdirect was further improved in January.
Our little boy lost part of his bike on an outing- A Batman front plate. I contacted E-bikes to ask if I could purchase a replacement part. The following day the wonderful Davey got in touch to say he’d organised one to be sent out free of charge. We’re ever so grateful, Davey is an absolute asset to the company. My little boy was delighted with the part arriving yesterday.

Ordered this buy through on buy.com and really cannot believe what an exceptional experience this has been.
On ordering the bike the delivery was from 15th January but I realised afterwards I could have paid to get it delivered by the Saturday. I emailed them and Danny got straight back to me advising that it was showing to be dispatched and received by the Friday, today. It came shortly after lunchtime and the delivery was as good as the rest of the service we have received. My husband has unpackaged the bile and everything is as should be but it will be getting its test drive either Saturday or Sunday.
If your wondering whether to purchase from this company I would recommend on the level of service received so far.

Terrible customer service
My Forme Repton bike, costing over 3k arrived in November. It was impossible to remove the battery for charging and when I contacted the company they agreed they find it difficult. I told them I wanted to return the bike (for articles bought online there’s a 14 day cooling off period during which you can change your mind without a reason). They said they’d pick the bike up but 2 weeks later I paid to have it returned. That was 14th December and still no word from them regarding a refund. Don’t touch them with a bargepole

I for one cannot rate these people highly enough. And whilst my main dealings were with Dave; anyone I've spoken to has been fantastic. Firstly before I go on too much... I understand they're selling us stuff and want us to buy off them etc. But the willingness to give honest, frank, and completely impartial advice was simply refreshing. Both during office hours and email answered during the holiday break. I was buying an E-bike and it's something I know little about as a subject but after a few calls and emails I was set on what I wanted and knew what options would suit me, this includes bikes that at the time I would have had to go elsewhere for.
A truly honest company.
Don't buy without at least talking to them.

Amazing customer service which care about your issues and solve them promptly. Had a problem with delivery and Davey spent hours resolving it to make sure we were able to get the bike in time for Christmas!

This company is second to none for customer service in my opinion. I bought an electric mountain bike online without seeing the bike through a cycle to work scheme. From my initial query up to now they have demonstrated exemplary standards in customer service. I was unfortunate enough to have a fault occur on the bike on my way home from work which was distressing as the bike packed in altogether. After a quick phone call ebikes direct had me on the move again and a replacement part was sent out next day. 3 more months of problem free cycling followed from that point until the bike developed a terminal fault (break in the folding mechanism lock on the frame) and I called ebikesdirect again. They asked for photographs of the fault and in the same day dispatched a new bicycle for me. Their prices are competitive but the key with this company is customer care. I have never received such good service when faced with a defective product. I recommend them to everyone now. Well done Ebikesdirect. Keep up the good work!
Highly NOT recommended
After finally taking delivery more than two months later than I was promised there was a fault discovered with the brakes. After sending repeated emails and leaving lots of messages, NO-ONE from the tech team has contacted me with a possible solution and its over a month now since the trike arrived. I've had to resort to cycling over 18 miles with unsafe brakes to the nearest local company to sort the issue...at my cost :\

He sorted out my issue with such ease and was the most helpful person I’ve every come across in customer service! Can’t recommend this company and their staff enough! Happy happy customer
