JK have been very supportive and efficient since I have started working with them as a Tutor. They are clearly passionate about helping kids thrive and giving parents the guidance in navigating the world of school selection in particular and tutoring in general. I’ve had a very warm and positive experience.

Katie did a thorough assessment of our daughter's academic aptitude and achievement. My wife and I think she hit the mark and provided some very helpful suggestions to balance out some of the differences across different areas in her learning. She was also very honest and did not recommend any unnecessary tutoring. We have been very satisfied with the service received and likely we will go back for further assessments in the future, including for our other children.

We are currently at the early stages of a possible tutoring arrangement with JK Educate and our experience so far has been very positive. Our son had an assessment which was administered in a very calm and friendly way, immediately putting him at ease. The feedback session for us afterwards was thorough and very helpful and gave us plenty of insights into what the next steps might be for us and him. Thank you for a very positive start.

From the moment I called to ask for more information, I was impressed. They gave me the information that I needed and spoke the language that I needed to hear. The assessment was extremely thorough and they immediately found areas of focus for my child and they gave me the confidence that they would be able to help on areas that are not necessarily normally covered by standard tutoring. My daughter attended a tutor group with JKEducate primarily to improve her skills in maths and English, but also to prepare for 11+, although 11+ wasn't our aim at the time. She made a fantastic progress as soon as the second week. After a few months we continued with one-to-one tutoring. Both tutors my daughter has worked with have been fantastic and she loved working with them. They supported her academically, but she also enjoyed the tutoring sessions. The quick progress she made especially in writing was impressive. It surprised her and gave her so much confidence. She has passed the entrance exam for the schools we applied for.

I speak as a tutor, working with JK Educate for more than five years. In those five years, I feel I have developed and progressed professionally more than I did in the thirty-two years I spent working in the classroom. The training JK Educate provide for their tutors is excellent, as is the regular critical reviews the tutors have with one of the co-directors. We are challenged to examine our practice, develop new areas of interest and self-assess our performance. In the light of this excellent, "behind the scenes" training and monitoring, clients can be sure that the tutor JK Educate provides will simply be "the best".

It’s an expensive class and I am not yet sure if we are getting the benefit from it. If I don’t put in time personally with my son, I don’t think there would have been much progress.

As a tutor with JK Educate, I could not ask for a better employer. When I was first interviewed, although I had a lot of experience working with children, I had little experience working as a private tutor. Katie and Lorrae believed in me and gave me the opportunity to work for JK Educate. Since then they have dedicated countless hours training me and continuously support and trust me. From the initial telephone call, through thorough assessment to the detailed feedback and tutoring recommendations JK Educate team have been fantastic. The report and feedback provided detailed information on my child’s abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and most importantly current attainment level. Something which even his previous schools failed to provide. Any and as many questions are answered promptly and patiently.

Most importantly though, they found us the most wonderful, able, kind, pleasant, cheerful and knowledgeable tutor. Our child often comments how a lesson with Naseema feels like 5 minutes, he is inspired to learn more, eagerly completes the homework which she sets him, and is having great fun enriching his vocabulary and becoming growingly confident with his creative writing, comprehension and smashes the verbal reasoning.

We are at the beginning of the process of looking at secondary school options and needed some guidance. JK Educate provided just what we were looking for- an assessment of our child's abililty, advice on which schools may be appropriate and a course of action. Whilst we are still starting out, we have found the process thus far very informative and reassuring. Katie's knowledge and expertise has been invaluable-thank you Katie!

In 2011 when our daughter Jasmine's girl-only school (The Royal in Hampstead) was taken over by the co-ed Northbridge House, we were offered the opportunity to have her talents and prospects assessed by JK Educate.

Katie Krais assessed her in one or two meetings and bearing in mind her sporting interests and talents, she advised us which schools would be suitable. She pointed out one in particular of which we had been previously unaware - Queenswood school in Hatfield. We visited, loved it and she sat the entrance examinations. Jasmine was accepted and over many years, has thrived in every conceivable area and endeavour.

We stayed in touch with Katie and would occasionally ask for her professional advice. This was particularly true in 2017, when Jasmine was looking at other possibilities for 6th form. She received several good offers, but having listened to Katie's advice very carefully, Jasmine decided to stick with Queenswood, the school which she had always loved.

11 GCSE A*'s later, she is now engaged in her A level studies. She will be applying to top Universities including Oxbridge and the good news keeps coming. Yesterday, she was appointed Head Girl of Queenswood school.

I have no hesitation is recommending JK Educate to anyone. We found them extremely helpful, knowledgable, professional and could not fault them. From an initial assessment for our son who sat the 11+, which although was fairly costly - it was invaluable to get a very comprehensive breakdown of where he was at and therefore know where he had to concentrate his energies in the run up to exams.
Katie Krais was so delightful to deal with and was 100% focused on getting the best out of our son. We found her interview technique sessions so helpful and gave our son the confidence he needed to get him through. We will definitely return to JK Educate with our younger kids in the future. He is delighted with the schools he got offered places at and so are we. Highly recommend.

Our 9 year son undertook an assessment session with JK educate. The session was well managed and he was immediately put at ease and found the process very comfortable.

The resulting report and one on one feedback session with Tania was very professional and insightful and helped to add a further independent view of our son's progress. This has allowed us to make a more informed choice about future schooling and academic support.

I’ve been involved with JK Educate for the past nine months and have been bowled over by their approach, their procedures and their results. From my first meeting with Katie and Lorrae, it was clear that these women were ON IT. They and their team are highly professional, highly proficient and extremely polite. Every phone call and every email is responded to speedily, all concerns are addressed specifically, your child is the focus of their attention for every minute of their time with you and you come away absolutely confident that you’re in the best hands. We’ve undergone the assessment process (which my daughter loved; found it great fun, loved that particular tutor, Hannah, didn’t want to leave!), participation in their weekly Tutor Group in preparation for the 11+. and one-on-one tuition with the super-lovely Tania. All the tutors we’ve worked with have been warm, approachable, attentive, efficient and clearly steeped in their subject matter. I feel no need to ‘shop around’, all our individual needs are catered for at JK Educate, and I have no doubt that this organisation is operating at the top of its game.

Our Year 4 child is at a state school and we had some concerns about the standard of education she is receiving and did not feel that the school gives adequate feedback, other than she is doing fine. We are very pleased with the in-depth assessment and feedback process. Expensive but worth it as now have a very good idea of our child's ability and performance and a detailed list of the areas that she is struggling with. Amazing result for just 3 hours and such a relief to have my suspicions confirmed!
