To complain about a taxi driver in Ireland, make a complaint in writing with the National Transport Authority (NTA).
You will need the driver's vehicle registration number or SPSV license number, which can be found on your receipt, the dashboard display, or the TFI Driver Check App.

Taxi driver charged 52 euros from Dublín AirPort to RIU Hotel Dublín. Driver charged double the price of normal rate. We were a group of five so we had to take two separate taxis our friends in the first taxi was only charged $28,00 euros .I wish I recorded his taxi driver number to report him.
Ask driver price to location before heading out. And get his number .Take photo of license plate.
Date we arrived to RIU Hotel is November 11,2025 at 12:30am. Be ware!!!!

Do not use Uber from Dublin airport to the city centre.
Beware as both my me friend I who got lured into using Uber on the price both got stung for double the fees quoted initially. I was quoted £24.00 snd paid £45.00
My friend had a similar experience.
Absolute scam so use local taxis on a price.
I’m so disgusted I have deleted Uber app and will never use any of their services again.
Tried to complain on their app but they make it impossible and I even rang without any luck. My advice is delete Uber app and never trust them as they are not interested in personal service but only profit.

Terrible service. I booked a pick up to head to the airport and they NEVER SHOWED UP. Never called. And when I tried to call the company the line just kept hanging up. Don’t trust them. Use Freenow they got to me in 2 min!!

Greg, the owner, responded to my enquiry straight away, quoting full charge for Greet &Meet"service. And day prior of arrival he texted to ensure all was still as planned. Once landed, i got a text and picture of where he was located at the Arrival Hall.
He took charge of my overloaded trolley and off we went. Very professional, nice, polite and chatty person.
50e for this service: highly recommended!

Brilliant communication. Alan rang to say due to severe delays on the m50 he wouldn't be able to collect us at our precooked time so he sent a back up which got us there well in time.

Shocking! About 50 people waiting in a taxi queue. Taxis flying in and out of the airport but none arriving at the airport taxi rank.
What is going on???? People of all ages standing here waiting in the cold.

As an add on for anyone waiting for a taxi do not use the taxi rank. If you turn left when you exit the airport there is a pick up point there for non DAA taxis ie “free now”. These taxis CAN NOT pick up from the airport rank.

I booked and prepaid for an airport pickup. The airport pickup never happened so I called the company and requested a refund. I was being told that I would be refunded within a few days, I asked for a refund confirmation in writing but that was denied. It’s been two weeks and I’m waiting for my refund. Claimed this dispute with my bank now.

Prepaid €52 for a taxi to the airport. Taxi never showed, so I rang the driver using the number in the automated message. The driver was in bed and said he was not rostered for a 3am pick up. We had to book another taxi.

Something needs to be done about this incredibly shabby service.

I booked a taxi to collect my daughter from Dublin airport on afternoon of 14th July 2023. Received an e mail confirming the booking, then another mail cancelling the booking. I mailed the firm but got no explanation. Have used them in the past but never again!

No transparency for pricing, meter cost was €35 but we were charged €50 when we booked. I emailed asking for a breakdown of costs but no response.

I visit dublin in January 2023. Book taxi with dublinairporttaxis.com. they take my money and never arrive to collect me. refuse my refund of over 100. scam company. thief company. do not use.
