Applied for a "micro-loan", through bank connection proving 2+ years of constant cash flow. Instantly declined. Ontario Corp., in business 2+ years, 250k/year revenue two years in a row, profitable, recurring membership business, good cash flow, zero existing debt, all tax documents and bank statements in order. Rep connected to chat only to tell me my "personal credit score" wasn't high enough. My credit is perfect, with lengthy history, except slightly high utilization. Rep didn't even bother to answer subsequent questions in the chat. They are clearly not looking at your business, only a quick decline based on your personal credit score. Why waste your time with this group when you can also be instantly declined by a bank, who also doesn't bother to look at anything other than your personal credit score despite demonstrating a business with good cash flow and substantial operations? It is misleading to say this lender is any different.

I have a really good experience with this company! The proceed was really quick and smooth.Colin was really helpful and professional. I can recommend this company for business who need quick help.

On 13 of September I have applied for a business loan for our corporation ACNL. To proceed I had to connect my bank account that was supposed to give Driven one time read only access. On 14 I have signed a loan agreement but was requested many more documents. Our lease, our bills, our CRA documents in every detail and so on. Though the volume of data was unusual I have complied until their agent asked for my passport. That was the first time when a financial institution would request passport rather then Driver’s License. But I decided to comply once again and produced a picture of my passport. To my dismay right after that there was another request for this time my Russian passport. I have never been a citizen of this country and we had not discussed such subject prior to the request. When I informed Driven that such a request is impossible for me to fulfill and that it is likely in violation of Charter as my country of origin can not play any role in the process of opening an account, they apologized and finally asked for my DL. The advertised time of loan approval for Driven is 24 hours, but after 2 weeks they “kept working” on their offer. On September 26th they responded that my application was denied because I had just received another small loan. Knowing that we needed to purchase equipment and would not wait forever, and not willing to openly discriminate based on the country of origin Driven decided to simply wait for us to find another loan, while all this time illegally using link to our bank that we have provided earlier on one-time basis. As soon as they saw a deposit from their competitor they were all too happy to decline our application based on that. We could not win, either we would be waiting forever without funds or our application would be declined when we had any size of loan from other company. Driven is not concerned that our privacy was violated by them spying on our bank account.

This lender has approved my company for 100k+. When approved the interest was not high and ended up at 30+++% after usage of the loan.

The Government should take action against these agressive types of lenders.

Currently building a class action suite against the company.

Extremely Disappointing and Sketchy Experience with Driven / Thinking Capital

I recently applied for a business loan with Driven / Thinking Capital, and I must say that my experience with them has been nothing short of horrendous. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice before wasting their time with this company.

First and foremost, the application process was relatively straightforward, and I was hopeful about securing the funding I needed for my business. However, that's where the positivity ends. After submitting my application and all the required documentation, I expected to hear back from them within a reasonable timeframe. But alas, that never happened.

Weeks went by, and I received no communication whatsoever from Driven / Thinking Capital. I tried reaching out to their customer support multiple times, but it felt like shouting into a void. No one ever answered my calls, and my emails were met with automated responses or complete silence.

This utter lack of communication is not just frustrating; it's downright unprofessional and sketchy. If they weren't interested in my application, the least they could have done was send a rejection notice, providing some closure. Instead, they left me hanging, wondering if my application had disappeared into a black hole.

What bothers me most about this experience is the complete disregard for potential customers. It's as if they take your application, and then they vanish into thin air, leaving you to question the legitimacy of their operations. I can't help but feel like they are intentionally avoiding applicants, which raises serious doubts about their credibility and ethics.

In conclusion, I strongly discourage anyone from dealing with Driven / Thinking Capital. Their lack of communication and unresponsiveness make them appear unreliable, untrustworthy, and downright sketchy. There are plenty of reputable financial institutions out there that value their customers and provide transparent and professional services. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your financing needs.

They went above to help me obtain all documents needed always return phonecalls promptly and a pleasure to deal with.
The process was not difficult and explained everything and made sure I understood all aspects of the process even offered suggestions to help the running of business going forward to make my life simplified.
