It took a little while to receive the product. I contacted customer service regarding the issue. They were super responsive. They even gave me a $10 discount for the longer wait time.

"My husband and I are really enjoying our daily routine of mixing up different flavors of our Daily Calm. He blends his in with his favorite bubbly water and I just mix mine in plain water. I actually feel a sense of relaxation as I am finishing the last few sips. He prefers the lemon or orange flavors while I like to switch around."

So I got a follow up email from Nectar's customer service team asking me to do this survey on Trustpilot. I had not had the same experience with customer service as mentioned in the reviews I saw. They were responsive and seemed open to feedback. My experience of no updates on the order, a supply problem and not shipping updates has been the same. The suggestions I gave in my feedback were all related to this. The response gave me an update, there was a 10 day delay on the order and that reorder would be moved out to reflect that on the subscription. They offered 2 options, one to cancel and one to keep my order and get a $10 refund. I received responses on April 9 and today, April 16 asking for feedback here. I still don't have the product I ordered all or any part of it. I have not received the $10 refund and I have not gotten any other updates on the order or shipping. I have a subscription that should renew on May 3 I think and have not gotten the first order. I'm hopeful it just shows up and I can try it, but I think based on the reviews here, I am going to cancel my subscription (hopefully), at least until I have the opportunity to try what I have already ordered. Sorry Nectar, I have a job that customer service is paramount to my success and do not tolerate substandard customer consideration in my private or professional life very well. Please reach out if you would like more feedback.
I order the product and I paid for it through PayPal. I got a confirmation of the order and I got a shipping notice. It took a bit to get the order. I liked the product. I got the assorted flavors and I felt I did help me sleep. The only negative was that the next month I was charged again with a notification of another order being shipped but I had only done a one time order. I reached out to customer service and they refunded the money to PayPal and cancelled the order withing 2 days.
They got back to me really quickly and refunded when there was a problem with the subscription… Very happy with the product just not sure I’m gonna be able to keep up with a subscription, but they helped right away
I requested a refund via the contact me link on the webpage. This was on an subscription order I did not want and they canceled the order and sent the refund within in 2 days.

I decided to try Nectar Calm a while back, but unfortunately the experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish.
After placing my order, I never received a shipping confirmation. I waited a few weeks before reaching out, and it took several days for customer service to respond. At that point, I was told the product was out of stock and wouldn’t be available for another 10 days—something that was never communicated at the time of purchase.
I followed up to express my disappointment with the lack of transparency, and again, it took multiple days to hear back. This time, I was given the same vague response—another 10-day delay—with no clear timeline or proactive updates.
At that point, I gave up and requested a refund.
The lack of communication, delayed responses, and failure to notify customers about stock issues made this a very poor customer service experience. Based on this, it’s hard to trust when—or if—the product will actually be available.
I first purchased Nectar "Calm" through Amazon (purchased and shipped by Amazon). I liked the product and ordered (and paid in full) from the drink "Nectar" website.
Eleven days ago and still:
-No shipping details provided.
-No tracking provided.
-No order received.
Multiple contact attempts to the customer service form on the website, no answer.
Really enjoyed the product, but this shows the company's integrity. Cannot recommend.
UPDATE: After my initial report and multiple direct attempts to Nectar to get any acknowledgment from 4/5/26 order, Nectar finally responded on 4/14/26 with the order confirmation and details and offering me a $10 refund which they did complete, but stated they are unable to predict any shipping or delivery date of the order. So, I only got a partial answer in their email response. What a disappointment.
I couldn't agree more with the only other review available so far on Trust Pilot for this company. Not only did the product not help me sleep, but after cancelling the subscription the customer service was less than helpful and actually dishonest. I contacted Nectar the day after the charge hit my credit card and was told by Rachel that company policy would only honor a refund on my initial order and that my second order had already been "handed off to USPS for delivery". She said that since the product is consumable, they were not allowed to take it back. That meant that if I refused the delivery, I would still not get a refund. Four days after being told by customer service that my automatic shipment had already been given to USPS for delivery, I received an email from Nectar stating that my order had been shipped. That is why I said customer service is dishonest. Needless to say I would not recommend buying anything from this company. Unfortunately I did not check Trust Pilot before placing my order. I won't make that mistake again.
This company’s subscription model feels intentionally designed to prevent reasonable cancellation. I contacted them within minutes of a subscription order renewal being placed (no warning of upcoming order) and was refused any assistance, with only repeated references to their policy. There are no reminder emails before charges occur. This is illegal in the state of California. Had I received a notification and a chance to skip the order (because I still had so much left over) then I would not have a problem at all. But the practice is illegal and their position when I contacted them was completely rude.
For reference:
California's Automatic Renewal Law (ARL), specifically updated by AB 390 and further strengthened by AB 2863 (effective July 1, 2025), mandates that businesses notify consumers of upcoming subscription renewals. Companies must provide clear notice 15 to 45 days before renewal for annual subscriptions, or 3 to 21 days for shorter terms (longer than 31 days).
Key requirements of California's, as detailed in the Attorney General's consumer alert, include:
Notice of Renewal: Businesses must provide a reminder of the renewal date, costs, and a clear method to cancel.
Free Trial/Gift Notice: For trials or gifts lasting 31+ days, a notice must be sent 3–21 days before the charge.
"Click to Cancel": Effective July 1, 2025, companies must make canceling as easy as signing up, specifically requiring a simple online mechanism to cancel immediately.
Explicit Consent: Businesses must obtain "express affirmative consent" (e.g., a checkbox) to the renewal terms before charging.
These laws apply to any business selling subscriptions or automatic renewals to California residents, regardless of where the business is based.
