They made up flights so I’d pick the upgraded flights package which was actually the only possible flights that day.
The upgrade hotel was from a £235 hotel to a £115 one.
The spa package was an afternoon booking not all day and the voucher didn’t work!!!
I am complaining to Wowcher for making me have to associate with this dreadful company!
Be aware that in most cases you’ll…
Be aware that in most cases you’ll likely be asked to pay more money because, after you confirm, they suddenly say the advertised holiday is no longer available.
I confirmed my booking within the 24-hour window exactly as stated in their terms and conditions. Despite this, I was told it wasn’t available and was offered alternatives I could have booked myself for under £100—2-star accommodation in the middle of nowhere.
Dhitri’s customer service was an absolute nightmare. She was rude, constantly talked over me, repeatedly told me to “read the terms,” and when it became clear I was correct, she tried to change the terms over the phone, which I did not accept. I asked for my complaint to be escalated, but she refused and claimed no management was available.
In the end, I had to settle for a 1-night hotel and 2-park tickets, losing a night from my holiday and having to arrange my own flights.
Stay away.
Please do not book holidays through…
Please do not book holidays through wowcher and this company. Very poor customer service. I only purchased vouchers through wowcher 4 days ago, now realising that I need to pay more money on top to get reasonable flights and accommodation. I have requested my money back which they are refusing to refund even though I have not booked anything and it has only been four days.
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK
The wowcher ad states “top rated” and “book with confidence”. I have since realised that instead of looking at the default ratings which show 5 stars, change the settings to most recent reviews to see the truth, loads of 1 stars with testimonies of trouble with this company. As for “book with confidence”, it’s just not true. I bought two wowchers based on the availability and price, and called them immediately as you are advised to book within 2 working days. I was told I would be called back that day but 24 hours later I still hasn’t been called so I phoned again. I was told for the price I had paid I would have to travel to an airport in Beauvais, which is way out of Paris (they said an hour away), and the flight would be from Southend. However their ad did not list this hotel or airport as an option so immediately I start thinking there’s a scam in this. Then I’m told if I want to use a more convenient London airport like Gatwick or Luton which are mentioned in their ad, I would need to pay at least £129 PER PERSON, and all these flights actually go to Paris (CDG). I told them I refuse to pay a penny more for what they advertised and was willing to put up with the inconvenience if I could still take my daughter to Disney so I requested the cheap holiday. 3 days later I emailed to ask for an itinerary as I was suspicious that I had not received any confirmation after having sent in my passport details etc as requested, and was then told they only had 1 space left on that date (surprise surprise). I was adamant I would not give them one penny more for the holiday (which is obviously what they wanted), so we went through alternative dates but of course none could be found during school holiday times so I said I wanted a refund. I had started this fiasco on 31/7/26, and requested the refund on 4/8/26 via email to the listed customer services details, then got a response on 6/8/26 stating the following:
As stated on the Wowcher deal advert and within our booking terms, travel vouchers are non‑refundable and non‑cancellable once redeemed, as they fall under a non‑refundable product category. Redemption activates the holiday booking process and confirms acceptance of the deal conditions, including that:
All holidays are subject to live availability
Specific airports or dates cannot be guaranteed
Additional charges may apply depending on availability
If the originally selected holiday is not available, an alternative date or destination can be booked under the same voucher value
Although a refund is not possible, we are more than happy to assist you in arranging a holiday using your redeemed vouchers. You may choose to book the same destination on alternative dates or select a different destination of your preference within the same voucher value.
Bear in mind although I redeemed the voucher because to get the holiday, you HAVE to do so according to their ad, and it was only after doing that I was told about the extra costs to get what they actually advertised, and was offered for the price advertised what was not listed in the ad, it’s ridiculous to state it’s non refundable because I had not booked anything with them so was not in breach of their terms, and in fact they are in breach by not stating up front the extra costs that you’re not aware of until you redeem the so called non refundable voucher! How can it be any more clear how underhanded this all is. I’ve seen other companies that state up front the travel options and costs so there’s no reason why they couldn’t if they wanted to but it seems the idea is that once someone is on the hook, they’ll just pay extra to get what they were offered to begin with.
So 2 weeks later I’m still waiting for a refund, which after reading the other recent reviews is par for the course. This company doesn’t deserve a star. Trust Pilot should give the option of a negative star as that is what is really deserved. For this reason my daughter missed out on a summer trip to Disney and I can’t even book with someone else as these people are refusing to give the money back. Now you tell me, is this a company anyone should be dealing with? Why do wowcher allow them to continue advertising with them? I can only guess wowcher gets money for this but now I’m thinking I don’t trust wowcher any more either.
Absolute joke
Absolute joke. Bought a wowcher code for a holiday to Paris got an email with additional costs on. When I asked to speak to a manager was told at first I couldn’t speak to one, then was promised one within 48 hours. I am still waiting 2 weeks later. I have spoken to someone again today n the price has gone up £30 per person. Would not recommend this company at all
If i could give this agency 0 stars
If i could give this agency 0 stars, I would!
We booked a trip from July 4th to the 7th, they placed in a hotel with no AC, 5 flights of stairs with no heads up. We are disabled, and trust it was difficult making up the stairs on the 5th floor to our room, the room smelled of mould! We ended up having to book another hotel and paid.
Included in our package, we had a lift to get to the spa, because it was a group of us, we decided to go together to the spa. On arrival the receptionist explained that the driver Dreamholiday4u has booked, has our spa tickets. Can anyone explain the logic in that? Why were our tickets not provided to us directly ?
On return, i raised a complaint and HAVE NOT HEARD BACK.
Truly disgusting thieves.
I had booked a package through Wowcher
I had booked a package through Wowcher, however it had been sold out. The person who dealt with my query was very helpful and found me an alternative option which was great value for money. The staff was very polite and easy to communicate with and tried his best to get me the best deal he could and I enjoyed my holiday. Have to give 5 stars for the effort the staff put in to making sure I got a good deal.
Highly recommend very good service
I booked a holiday with dream holiday 4 u and was very happy with the level of service I received from them, I did initially have a hotel in mind however the team at dream holiday found me an alternative at a lower price which was better than the one I wanted. Overall very happy with dream holiday 4u 5 star and I highly recommend
I would strongly advise others to avoid…
I would strongly advise others to avoid this company!
I purchased a holiday through Wowcher that was clearly advertised as being for 2 people. Based on that wording, I purchased the voucher believing it covered two people.
After purchasing the voucher through Wowcher, I was passed over to this company (Dreamholiday4u) to arrange the holiday. I was then told that I would need to purchase another voucher in order for the holiday to be for two people.
I subsequently understand that the wording on the website has been changed, which I believe further demonstrates that the original description was incorrect or misleading.
I have requested a refund because I purchased the holiday based on the original description, but my refund request has been refused at this moment. I will now be taking this matter further and seeking advice from Citizens Advice.
I genuinely wish I had read these reviews before making my purchase. I would have thought twice before proceeding with this company.
Please don't make the same mistake.
BAD EXPERIENCE A
This is a complete scam. Do not book a Wowcher holiday through this company. It is cheaper to book direct with the airline and hotel. I feel so upset and disappointed and cannot afford the additional prices they are charging on top of the holiday - prices were still showing this morning as the price i purchased the holiday 3 weeks ago. Wowcher are no help either so feel I will have to escalate this with ATOL and citizens advice.
DO NOT USE THEM
Do not part with any money to this…
Do not part with any money to this terrible company. The worst booking experience I have ever encountered. I bought a holiday deal through Wowcher for a specific hotel for seven nights on specific dates. I redeemed the voucher immediately and was contacted by this company saying that the deal had sold out and I could either ‘upgrade’ the room for an additional £270 per person or I was offered alternative accommodation which turned out to be two-star when we had booked 4-star. The only other alternative was to go on a completely different date and reduce the holiday to five nights but also pay an additional charge of £89 per person. When I asked for a refund in line with the ‘16 day no quibble refund policy’ I was refused and told to go back to Wowcher. But Wowcher refused because the voucher had already been redeemed. This company’s argument was that in the fine print it says that it is subject to availability. If that is the case then it should not be advertising specific accommodation on specific dates.
I was stuck in the middle of two companies, neither of them would take responsibility. They had taken my money but not provided the holiday. I reluctantly paid the additional charge £89 per person and reduced the holiday to five days as this was the least worst option but I feel completely ripped off and very disappointed.
Utterly disgraceful, Wowcher and Dreamholiday4u should be stopped because this is clearly misleading advertising and unfair trading conditions.
I have now reported both companies to Trading Standards
I don't know where to begin...a disgrace!
I don't know where to begin regarding this absolute disgrace of a company. Wish I could give them zero stars! Bought a Wowcher deal to Naples with non-existent flights and hotels and ended up having to fork out hundreds of pounds for different flights and accommodation. No refund available I was told. Transfer did not arrive, so I am due a refund of that money too, as we had to sort our own at an extra cost and they of course are now not replying to my emails about this. Quick enough to be contacting me when they wanted to con me out of my money though! I cannot believe this company is still operating, let alone Wowcher are letting them advertise on there! I am absolutely furious, they ruined what should have been a lovely trip!
My experience with DreamHoliday4U has…
My experience with DreamHoliday4U has been extremely disappointing and stressful.
I purchased a Wowcher holiday and requested a refund within 24 hours of purchase. At that point, no booking had been confirmed, I had not accepted any itinerary, I had not agreed to any additional charges, and no travel services had been provided.
The biggest issue is that I was required to redeem the voucher simply to obtain the flight details. Before redemption, I was never told what flight times were included in the advertised price. Only afterwards was I informed that the included flights were a late afternoon outbound flight and an early morning return flight, significantly reducing the time available on a three-night holiday.
I was then told that if I wanted more suitable flight times, I would have to pay an additional £119 per person (£238 in total). Had I known the actual flight times before redeeming the voucher, I would never have purchased the holiday.
What I find particularly concerning is that the terms state vouchers are automatically redeemed after 48 hours if the customer does nothing, yet also state that the 14-day change-of-mind period still applies as long as no booking confirmation has been issued. Despite this, my refund request was refused simply because the voucher had been redeemed, even though no booking had ever been confirmed.
Customer service has been extremely poor. Promised callbacks did not happen, communication was slow and repetitive, and I spent long periods on hold. I repeatedly had to chase for responses, and my concerns were never properly addressed.
It has now been around one month since I first requested a refund, and the matter remains unresolved. I have had to escalate my complaint to Wowcher, my bank and will also be pursuing it through the appropriate consumer protection and dispute resolution channels.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend DreamHoliday4U.
Awful experience DO NOT BOOK with this…
Awful experience DO NOT BOOK with this company or buy any kind of wowcher voucher your regret it
Booking Trip to Disneyland Paris
I found the company via Wowcher. I was initially skeptical as I am not a massive online shopper. It was difficult to get a direct line to call/direct email address to contact. But as soon as I got through, the booking went smoothly. Anthony was very patient answering all my questions and tried to make all amendment requests including adding a passenger to my initial booking. I also occasionally spoke to Andrew, the customer service from both is outstanding.
I have ended up booking for Disneyland twice, 2025 via Easyjet and 2026 via Eurostar. I booked budget packages which were satisfactory. Noting the Eurostar journey costs more. The other thing to note is that based on wowcher deals, the travel times weren't the 'best' I had to go with what was available.
For the initial journey via Easyjet the outward flight was at the wee hours which was tricky with kids but we made it by focusing on the fun ahead. The Eurostar journey also on a budget was later in the afternoon which meant we only arrived at the hotel to sleep for that day. Nevertheless we had a fantastic time.
My packages on both years included travel, hotel and Disneyland tickets which all worked fine. The first time I had a small problem, the hotel couldn't trace our booking which Anthony sorted via phone within the hour of us arriving at the hotel.
Just to add, on my second booking Anthony couldn't secure enough seats for my family for the return journey on Eurostar so he upgraded us at NO extra charge to the 'Plus class' where seats were available.
Overall, very pleased with my bookings both times
Scam. I hope they get arrested and put out of business.
Generally absolute disgusting company complete con artists who should be ashamed of themselves. Lie and twist and deflect over and over again. I do want to clarify before sending this, I don’t believe Wowcher is to blame in themselves for my experience, however I do feel they a. need to investigate the companies they work with better before posting these deals, and b. they could have done a better job to support me thusfar/help me achieve my refund. This particular package I bought off Wowcher was booked by dreamholidays4u, which is not listed when you first make the purchase and isn’t stated until you have not only made the purchase but also redeemed your vouchers; which is where Wowcher seem to wash their hands of everything to do with the transaction. This merchant company (DH4U) is in basic terms an utter scam. I have not only not received what I paid for (a return flight per person, a Disneyland Paris Hotel stay, and a 1 day 1 park ticket PER VOUCHER/PERSON), but I have been placed in a low rated hotel miles from the park, and only received one park ticket. Why would I book for two to then go to Disneyland by myself? I received a phone call to book the holiday instead of any online system where I can read everything thoroughly for myself, and the dreamholidays4u agent I spoke to clearly only stated the parts she wanted to. I was then told there was only one seat available on the flight of our choice not 2 so I would have to pay an additional £220 to amend this to a different flight which I have since found out to be untrue as when I looked for myself I found the exact flight still with seats available. Upon researching the hotel we had been placed in post-booking (I was not told where we would be staying prior to my consent to confirm the holiday), I found out it was not what I had paid for and found myself in a situation where as I had apparently consented to a non-refundable cancellation policy within the contract for the (mis-informed) holiday. This has not been communicated to me prior to booking, and I am now basically £680 worse off without any tickets received within a good timeframe of the date of the flight to book travel insurance (how could I have booked insurance before consenting to protect myself if they would not give me any details about my flight or stay until AFTER I “confirmed”?) I have been scammed, I am barely 18 and I have seemingly lost the money left to me by my late grandmother thanks to these scam artists, and Wowcher have entirely washed their hands. I am still fighting for a refund as dreamholidays4u are in breech of the Consumer Protection Act (2015). Shame on Wowcher for allowing these companies to still rip people off through their “deals” and for not helping further with me getting my refund that I am legally entitled to as DH4U’s policy, having not been stated to me prior, is therefore unenforceable under the 2015 Act.
This company misleads customers!
This company misleads customers, do not book anything with them, we will fight for a refund. The Disneyland Paris trips are a con, it clearly states that it includes a ‘Disneyland Paris Hotel stay’, then they put you in a random budget hotel nowhere near the park. All their ‘included’ flights are booked, so they charge you to re-arrange them, up to £99 each to do that. Then when we bought 2 Wowcher codes, like it says, they send you one email confirming park entry for one person, and no flight details to book your travel insurance for. 2 vouchers booked and paid for, for one park entry! So the advertised price of £149 each, ends up being nearly £650 in total with flights from the wrong airport, and only park entry for one person. They refuse to refund, and suggest going to your travel insurer, which you can’t arrange as had no flight details, and wouldn’t be covered anyway. This is a con people, rip off company who we have reported to Trading Standards, Atol, and a complaint into Wowcher. Avoid avoid avoid!
Do not buck with dreamholiday4u
I am writing this review to warn others: DO NOT BOOK with Dreamholiday4u. What was supposed to be a special 30th birthday trip to Barcelona turned into a complete nightmare and left me in tears.Hidden Costs: After booking through Wowcher, they forced me to pay an extra £278 for two people just to get direct flights. When I was unhappy with this and asked for a refund, they refused, forcing me to pay.Downgraded Hotel: Later, they emailed saying our hotel was under maintenance and moved us to a different, lower-star hotel much further away from the city center, instead of providing a similar or better standard.Terrible Service: The communication was unprofessional, and they offered no solutions to make up for ruining a milestone birthday.Barcelona is a beautiful city, but Dreamholiday4u made the experience a disaster. Run away and do not make the same mistake I did.
Refused Refund Despite No Holiday Ever Being Confirmed
Very upsetting experience with Dream Holidays 4U.
We redeemed a Disneyland Paris voucher purely to begin viewing booking options and discussing availability, as this was required before we could even see the travel arrangements being offered.
Once options were presented, it became clear that the “included” flights involved extremely undesirable flight times and inconvenient airport allocations unless substantial additional charges were paid. Practical and reasonable travel arrangements ended up costing far more than expected.
After independently researching the same holiday ourselves, we found we could book the exact same trip cheaper directly with far better flights and additional benefits.
Despite no confirmed holiday ever actually being completed:
- no flights were accepted,
- no booking agreement was completed,
- and no final itinerary was agreed,
Dream Holidays 4U repeatedly refused to consider any refund solely because the voucher had been redeemed.
The process has felt extremely rigid and dismissive despite the significant amount of money involved and the concerns raised regarding transparency of the package costs in practice.
I would strongly encourage others to carefully review all fine print and understand that the advertised headline price will not reflect the realistic cost of obtaining practical travel arrangements.
