I strongly advise against choosing Dr. Ahmet Alp due to his unprofessionalism, lack of formality, and disrespectful behavior. I booked my surgery for this year, paid the required €1000 deposit, and followed all their instructions. However, when I called to confirm details for my in-person consultation and the next steps, his assistant, Tulay, suddenly stopped responding. Later, she informed me that the doctor had to cancel the surgery because he had a conference he wasn’t willing to miss for my procedure.
I reminded them that the date had been assigned by Dr. Ahmet himself, and I had repeatedly confirmed it, especially since my flight tickets were non-refundable. I had also planned to visit a few places before the surgery, knowing I wouldn’t be able to do so afterward. Changing the schedule would not only disrupt my plans but also my family’s, as we had bought four plane tickets. Despite explaining this, they refused to stick to the agreed surgery date.
When I asked for a refund, they didn’t return the full amount, claiming part of the payment had been deducted by the bank, which was not my responsibility. I reached out to Dr. Ahmet directly, but he never responded. This entire experience has been completely unacceptable, resulting in financial losses for me, including the cost of plane tickets and the vacation days I took from work that I cannot recover. Dr. Ahmet is neither professional nor trustworthy. If you’re an out-of-town patient like me, you run the risk of losing your money and ruining your plans.
