I sought advice and representation from DHP legal on a complex employment dispute resulting in discrimination and breach of contract claim. Sarah Wilkinson took up my case when everything else failed. It was an emotional, stressful and traumatic time for me. Sarah was extremely knowledgeable, professional, well-organised and dedicated. Her negotiating skills were exceptional when we came across some difficult obstacles. My sincere gratitude to Sarah and her colleagues on such an excellent result. Therefore, I would not hesitate to recommend Sarah and the DHP team to anyone requiring advice on employment law.

I was initially assigned to a great solicitor at DPH Legal. Unfortunately, she left the firm and my case was passed to David Harris. Sadly, Mr. Harris was rude, condescending, and unprofessional at each of our interactions. Especially prior to me sending him confirmation of the payment agreement I had with the company in which I paid as agreed. During our calls, he would routinely request updates on the case and advise on next steps.

The company should ensure that all their employees are well trained in people/communication skills. The customer experience is drastically different depending on the solicitor assigned to the case. Due to this risk, I highly recommend taking your business to another legal firm.

Update: After my initial post, Mr. Harris contacted me requesting that I take down the post and if I don't he threatened legal action. One can only guess this is how he keeps the company's negative ratings low.

Fantastic - extremely efficient and clear about everything

Farideh of DPH Legal was very helpful and worked so hard, my wife and I could not thank her enough.
She knew the inside out of Employment Law which helped to achieved a satisfactory result from my previous employer with an "mutual agreement" settlement.
I would definitely recommend and use DPH Legal again if and when the current situation arises in the future.

I experienced a great service from DPH legal and would highly recommend them to others.

There was a quick response from the first person that I spoken to about my predicament and then regular updates on the progress on my case.

The lawyer who ultimately dealt with my case was clear in her advice throughout and made me feel completely at ease. She used plain English rather than legal speak and the options were set out clearly for me to consider.

An excellent result was achieved in the end and I would have no hesitation to recommend them to others in need of employment law advice.

Reading the positive reviews on here was my main reason for instructing DPH Legal and I am sorry to say my experience is now far from positive.

I got a lot of calls from Sarah Wilkinson advising me that I "Have a strong case" regarding a breach of contract and talks of a high figure for settlement. I know there is no such thing as a guarantee and was reminded of this, however I turned down work on the advice given at a substantial cost.

Then after just one email sent by DPH Sarah advised me with a very short message to say there is nothing that they can do and the best advice is for me to try and reach an agreement myself. When I rang for more clarification, as this was the complete opposite of what she said before instruction she didn't answer or call back.

I then got an email from accounts for a bill in the thousands. I don't expect anyone to give their time for free and when Sarah kept saying that the other party would "contribute" that they wouldn't pay fully. I was happy to pay a few hundred pound. But, I did not expect so little work to be done. This whole process has cost a lot of money.

I am not posting on here simply to complain, but simply to make anyone aware. As it feels like DPH were very proactive in getting me to sign the instruction agreement with daily phone calls from Sarah, but less proactive in pursuing my case.

John provided exceptionally good advice and guided me down the right path. I would not hesitate to use DPH again if required.

BRILLIANT EXPERIENCE - WOULD GIVE 10*'S IF I COULD

I had the pleasure of working with John McConkey regarding an employment dispute. John was so knowledgable, patient and efficient. He created a plan of action within a day and constructed a super letter that clearly expressed all of the concerns etc. He was very realistic with his advice and fees were very reasonable considering his expertise.

The result were positive and very successful for all involved.

John is fantastic at what he does and always answers emails/the phone so quickly which is great when you're aiming for a fast turn around.

Couldn't recommend John or the company enough.
