Absolutely bad experience. A person named neo and his colleague is actually not good , they make chaos in front of everyone and make you pay as they demand regardless of what they do. better choose anyone else if you don’t want to loose money,

I brought my Mercedes C class diesel in after the engine management light kept coming on with emissions faults. Another garage had looked at it but couldn’t find the real cause. Colin checked the diagnostics and pressure readings properly and identified the issue quickly. The repair was done the same day and the car has been driving perfectly since. Very knowledgeable and straightforward service.

I recently booked a visit with DPF-DR regarding a DPF fault on my vehicle. My first concern was the lack of professional appearance. The technician, Ruben, arrived without a clean branded uniform and there was no visible company branding on the van, which did not give the professional first impression presented on the website.

Ruben carried out diagnostics but was frequently on the phone to someone called Colin to confirm or seek reassurance about the diagnostic findings. While consulting colleagues is understandable, it gave the impression that he wasn’t entirely confident in the conclusions being made on site.

He also appeared unsure about whether regeneration was included in the call-out charge and didn’t seem certain of the correct cost of the visit, which was surprising for a technician attending on behalf of the company.

While the technical explanation was provided, I was disappointed with the overall experience. After leaving, Ruben issued a “professional conduct notice” stating that the company operates a zero-tolerance policy toward aggressive or abusive behaviour and referencing that I had mentioned I might leave a negative review. I found this unnecessary and somewhat confrontational, as I had simply expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome.

Unfortunately the visit did not resolve the issue and the overall customer experience was disappointing. This review reflects my personal experience with the service provided, and based on that experience I would not recommend DPF-DR.

Paid £300 to clean DPF. Engine light came back on after 2 weeks. Called DPF DR, said they would come to check the car on Saturday but failed to turn up. Sent message on Sunday but did not respond. Total wate of money and time would not recommend.

Car was in limp mode, garage advised DPF. Colin came to my home same day, really nice bloke and sorted car quickly. Very reasonably priced too. Car has been great since, no complaints.

After experiencing much bullshit from other garages, Colin came to my rescue. As a female im always wary of anything car related but he gave knowledgable, honest advice and a permanent solution to my ongoing dpf issues at a fair price. Fast service, great communication and work carried out to a high standard = absolute legend!
Highly recommend to anyone experiencing dpf problems.

Colin was so helpful and understanding in my stressful situation I was in after my car had gone to the garage to be told it had a dpf issue but was reluctant to have this done on top of garage fees.
after looking around (prices), Colin had phone me asap he had come out the next day and fixed my bmw x3 dpf fault

We had a few wifi issues, but we got around it. Had a good laugh, Top Bloke and Professional, he has saved my x3 from the work he carried out. Thank you.

Awful experience, £800 later and the problem is not sorted despite promise after promise.

The job kept getting bigger, each time Neo said he guarantees 100% this will fix it, which didn't! So cost went up and up, Neo is fluent in BS just like Colin.

Situation ended with not answer my calls similar to other reviews left here. Im sure there's going to be a super smooth reply to this review worming their way out of the bad service provided.

Honest review - BEWARE of these two and if you are unlucky enough to use them look out for their money hungry ways they'll take as much as they can con out of you.

Can't fault the fixing of my DPF as the car is still running well. The service was quick and efficient. (Five star)

During the visit, the mechanic pointed out that my brakes (pads and discs) also needed changing. I ordered the parts and the mechanic came back to fit the brakes and pads.

The mechanic took my locking wheel nut and to date it has not been returned. I've not seen proof of postage nor had any compensation for this. I've been left unfairly out of pocket. The second experience with the brakes warrants the 2 stars however the DPF cleaning and repair was 5.

I was impressed from the start – the technician explained exactly what was wrong with my car and showed me the live data so I could see for myself. The DPF clean was carried out quickly and the difference was instant. Engine feels smoother, better throttle response, and no more warning lights. It's refreshing to deal with someone who clearly knows their trade inside out. Highly recommended.

Contacted them on the Monday got straight back to me and the next day sorted the problem on my sprinter.

Don't Use this firm. They ripped off a young girl in Exeter. They charged her £600 to fix her DPF and they didn't fix anything.
She and her family asked them to return but they kept failing to turn up. They won't even answer her calls now.

Not to be trusted.

Fitted a new DPF to sensor hose. Took 25 mins paid £120.
He didn’t put one of the clips back on and within two weeks the new hose has split. They have said they will be back to fix it for over three months now of promises with no shows and now won’t return any of my messages or calls . Please avoid at all costs and do not recommend to anyone. Shoddy workmanship and horrendous customer service. I have been more than patient but enough is enough.

Excellent service. Colin arrived as agreed and quickly got to work. He’s clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. He explained what he was testing and how the results lead to a diagnosis of the problem. After a series of tests he identified the problem and explained how to fix it. Mine turned out not to be the DPF. He gave me details of the exact part needed and the cost. I found him to be a very pleasant person, and his price was extremely reasonable. (I’ve had poor experiences at some other garages and was concerned that I would be ripped off). I highly recommend DPF DR. Thanks very much.

Quick turnaround, 12 days after deep clean and all is well

Anti Pollution Filter light came on day before MOT! Called them on a Sunday evening and they were out quickly. Colin was very helpful and confident he could sort the problem. I thought I would have to spend a lot of money on a new DPF but it turned out to be a blocked pipe on the system. It was really blocked but he spent time sorting it even though it was dark and cold. Cannot rate Colin highly enough. Call them before getting any garage to look at DPF issues. Well done and many thanks
