Fast shipping and excellent product quality

The product is as described: Real paper like feeling for my Onyx Boox Note. Easy to apply, good instructions. And the best: the Doodroo team offers really great customer‘s support with fast and friendly contact and a sense for goodwill arrangements. Great Shop!

My review refers to the kindle scribe screen protector, it might not apply to other products (but do your own research beforehand if you want to avoid my troubles)

I want to be constructive, so i'll start with the positives:

- The packaging has a very nice graphic design
- the paper-like screen protector does actually feel slightly better, but this is totally subjective and it depends on your personal preference. There's a lot of friction when you write/draw which I personally appreciate

Now, the negatives

- The protector feels a bit like very very thin sandpaper as a consequence it permanently ruined my official amazon premium pen

And this is a massive problem, I'd say a total deal breaker

Infact:

1- the pen tips last WAY shorter. Without the screen protector they used to last me around 2 weeks, with the screen protector it's half consumed after 1 single day of intense use. ONE DAY. This means that you'll have to pay A LOT if you want to write on the doodroo as you'll need to frequently buy new tips

2- amazon premium pen comes with an eraser button at the top, and that is NOT replaceable unless you buy a whole new pen. As a result of using it on such an abrasive surface the top layer peels off damaging the top of the pen as a result

This is NOT good and should've been advertised. So my experience has been in term of costs a net negative, and definitely wasn't expecting that from such an expensive protector like doodroo

1- paid 29+15 of shipping = around 45 which is A LOT of money for two sheets of plastic

2° ruined my premium pen, and it will cost 47.99 british pounds to replace

3° if I want to keep using the protector (and I definitely do not) I would need to pay around 15-20£ each month just to buy the tips

Do the math... is it worth paying this much just for a marginally (and subjectively) better writing experience?

If so, go for it

Otherwise... not sure it's worth the trade off

The fact is that it does add friction to the writing which helps but the application on the Boox is not an easy one. Once you get bubbles it is all but impossible to get out. There is a reason the send two in the packet. The application us not easy and probe to heavy bubbling. They have poor customer service. Take long to respond and usually with an attitude. They will simply not refund you your money.

Updated Review:

Apparently, Doodroo either saw this review or my comment on Reddit (both will be updated) and they sent me a new shipment. This time, it arrived in pretty good condition.

It took me roughly 10min to apply the screen protector to my Boox Nova Air C. Following their video, it went on easy - no bubbles. The only negative is that adhesion to the screen is a little weak, so watch it when you remove the protective film or you make be taking the screen protector off with the film.

Once applied, I saw a very minor amount of screen distortion - more than glass, but much less than one would think from a paper-like screen protector. Overall, it looked really clean and text + images still looked very clear.

The feel of the stylus on the screen protector is where the money is. The writing experience on the Nova Air C was already pretty good. But, the Doodroo screen protector takes up a level or two. It feels a lot like writing on paper with a very fine felt-tip marker. I would rate it as having fantastic feedback.

Past Review:

Doodroo delivered via Fed-Ex today. The package was crumpled up to the point of being unsalvageable. I don't know if the product is any good. I paid roughly $40.00 for garbage dropped on my doorstep.

On the plus side, the wadded up packaging looked nice.

Fed-Ex is trash. This is known. But I figured Doodroo would put some more care into their packaging to help prevent such issues. I guess not. Never again.

I don’t usually do product reviews. However, Doodroo gave me one of the best customer experiences.
I ordered a wrong sized screen protector and had to send it back to exchange it. My package got lost, but Doodroo was kind enough to send the replacement anyway. (I payed abit for the shipping, but that’s fair)
So far the screen protector is very nice to use. Nicely textured for writing and painting. I definitely prefer this over my old paperlike. It gives me better grib and feel.

Sometimes I think to have in my hands my old paper notebook! The writing feeling of Doodroo is incredible and the pen with the pencil skin is more familiar for my kids.
The Packaging is fancy and helps if you decide to choose Doodroo as a gift, congratulations!
The installation is very easy also if you are a dummy.
