Fabulous Shades
Required some special shades for a boxwood lamp stand I turned. Dominic provided two different shaped shades with different materials. Both look fabulous and each creates its own atmosphere.

Shades by Dominic Green craft bespoke oversized ceiling furniture designed to compliment and softly embellish your chosen space with elegance, presence and 'zing'. Over two years working on design, concept and refinement using new components and techniques have allowed me to create very large statement piece drum shades covered in a huge range of fabrics. I have also re-designed the diffuser from the bottom up. Our delicate and unobtrusive 'Floating' diffusers are suspended on a uniquely innovational adjustable wire and magnet system. Each one is delicately made with a stretched medium weight linen or a choice of hand made Japanese Washi paper to give a warm diffused glow underneath. The diffusers are generally set to hang around 4 to 5cm or so above the baseline of the shade. This allows the inside wall of the shade to show itself off too and provide a carefully balanced contrast to the outer wall and edge colour. All three suspension wires are adjustable from the top centre area of the frame to allow customer height preference flexibility.

Fabulous shades
These shades are quite spectacular - and surprisingly cheap to buy. Completely changed the feel and atmosphere in our living room. Fantastic variety of materials and designs too.

Shades As a Work of Art!
I proudly possess two shades by Dominic Green and they are *gorgeous*. The craftsmanship of each of them is exquisite and of the highest quality, like artwork hanging from my ceiling! The materials are just so beautiful. Dominic was very friendly and very professional when discussing the right shades for my rooms. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

I've been looking for lampshades like this forever
I've been looking for lampshades like this all my life. There's literally nothing like these gorgeous creations to be found anywhere, and they are fabulous. Not only do they look great, they're really well made with some great technical innovations like the magnet system for holding the diffuser in place, always so tricky with drum shades. If you're in the market for this kind of thing, don't even think about it -- buy one!!

Fantastic lamp shades
Just installed our custom made drum shade and couldn’t be happier. The whole process from concept idea to choice of materials and styles and final delivery went seamlessly. Again very happy with our shade and would totally recommend Shades by Dominic Green to anyone.

Beautiful small shade lamp
Having just received my first shade I can honestly say these are not only beautiful but top, top quality. Dom is not only a craftsman but has a real artistic eye helping me choose rim and base colours that really complimented the imported Italian velvet shade. Can't recommend enough.

Space transforming shades
I have looked for years for oversize shades that can add style and panache to a room. However, they all seemed to be single colour bland. I was delighted then to discover this amazing designer, Dominic Green, who is a skilled and imaginative shade maker.
I initially bought two shades from his existing collection and was then so happy bought another one and asked him to make another from a beautiful Lao embroidered textile I had. The results are stunning. Feel free to contact me for pictures. Thanks Dom
