We renewed our Motor trade insurance cover last week and got 3 quotes we then went into details of each quote inc. levels of cover , stock levels and so on , Our Office dealt with Mark Farrell and from the start they informed me his attention to detail and product knowledge was second to none , He was also very helpful in some extra queries we had . He was competitive on final cost ( not massively) but it was his professionalism and attention to detail that made our minds up in the end , When it comes to Motor Trade insurance he is top class in our experience . I'll second all of the comments about Dolmen Insurance being so easy to deal with and so helpful. Eddie had my horsebox insured in a matter of minutes. Never had insurance go though so efficiently. Thanks Eddie!

What a refreshing experience. I spoke to a human (Eddie Lawlor) who was friendly, efficient and had my house insured in a matter of minutes. He was helpful, knowledgeable and interested helping me get the insurance policy I required. I have spent 2 months with other companies making me jump through hoops and increasing the policy costs for no reason. Eddie has quoted me for my cars and I will be going to Dolmen first for all my future insurance needs. Keep up the good work.

Great experience with Dolmen. Got camper insurance. Straight forward, great price, disk arrived a couple of days later. Highly recommend.

It is an absolutely brutal company to deal with, so I won't be renewing with them next year. Good luck maintaining that attitude toward customers.

I had a brief issue with the company. I rang to speak to a manager and was given Paul Clements direct number. My conversation with Paul was not what I expected. I found Paul very aggressive on the the phone. In the end I had to go because he would not let up.

Total wast of time has to be the most unhelpful company I ever had the dis pleasure to deal with

I can't recommend Dolmen Insurance brokers enough. We are a small business in Dublin. We recently received our company insurance renewal notification. The cost had increase, pretty much like everything else. I decided to ring around and get some quotes. I rang a couple of brokers. Got call centres, was on hold for 15 - 20mins etc. I rang Dolmen, got to speak to person in Dublin, wishing 30 mins I had a call back, a cheaper quote and more cover with their policy. They took care of all the paper work. I can't recommend enough. We are moving our fleet Insurance over in October. Philip and Paul thank you for making the process simple. Our company prides itself on our customer service and Dolmen is one of the very few whom I found do the same.

Over the last few years I've had nothing but problems trying to make contact by phone. Left on hold for a half an hour then to be told we're too busy to take your call. Been trying to renew my camper insurance on line to have my card rejected doesn't recognise my expiry date because I've got a new card (same number) with a new expiry date. If you call this progress give me the older ways anytime.....

Was a great company for many years.
But lately Customer service is not good.
72 hours reply time is not good enough, understaffed.
I moved to another company who answer their phones

Shocking customer service. Must have rang 50 times. Finally spoke to someone who was to email a quote. One week later no email. Rang 3 more times with promises of a callback.. Again nothing. Don't waste your time with this company. Worst and most frustrating customer service ever. ZERO STARS.

Didn't know Dolmen, saw an ad of FB. Got a quote for house insurance from them. Cheapest price we could find, and with more ad ons then any one else who gave us a quote. Spoke with a lovely girl, can't remember her name, nothing was a hassle. Great experience

Outstanding service. This is the 3rd year in a row getting my motor insurance from Dolmen. Service is always excellent, staff always friendly and the price is always competitive. Would highly recommend.
