The best MMA gym in York
The best MMA gym in York. Dustin, the owner goes above and beyond. I've moved a lot and been to a ton of different MMA/BJJ gyms - there is nothing like DNA MMA.

I train here every week with my coach, and I absolutely love it. This is a highly private gym, providing a comfortable and focused environment. The equipment is comprehensive and versatile, meeting the needs of most people.

DNA gym is an amazing gym filled with amazing people! There is a wide range of equipment to use and the gym never feels too overcrowded. Dustin and the PT’s that work there constantly strive to make it the best that it can be. As somebody who has never felt very comfortable training in a gym setting and actually found them quite intimidating, I never thought I’d be able to attend the gym alone and feel confident with exercising in that kind of environment. DNA gym and the people that work/train there changed this mindset completely for me. Whether you are an experienced gym goer or you need somewhere where you will feel accepted and well supported to start your fitness journey- DNA gym will definitely be the place for you!

A welcoming gym in a great location
As a PT I’ve never experienced such a friendly and welcoming gym. Equipment is brilliant and suitable for all abilities. I’ve had great feedback from my clients saying how comfortable they feel (having been too scared to ever go to a gym before). Great location in York accessible my foot, bike and car.

Very welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere. Plenty of equipment and always kept clean and tidy. DNA MMA also has a huge variety of classes for different martial arts that draw a big class size week in and week out. There’s always a big range of skill and experience levels so you can always find someone to train with or help out if you need.
