I highly recommend my driving instructor to everyone who wants to learn proper driving. He is extremely professional, patient and supportive. He explained everything clearly, always corrected my mistakes in a calm and helpful way, and gave me the confidence I needed to become a safe and confident driver.
Thanks to his excellent teaching and guidance, I passed my driving test with only 1 minor! I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better instructor then him!!!

Danny is a top class instructor. What I really valued about his lessons was the fact that he gives a holistic driving experience - so while he teaches the key elements on passing the test, he also instructs you on how to be a good driver more broadly. Now that I have passed, I feel much more confident behind than wheel than if we had just been circling the test routes in Tolworth the whole time!

He's got an easy going manner - he's chatty and always seems to be in a good mood (which I'm sure is challenging when you have 5 lessons a day!). He does a good job of paying attention to small details in your driving while not being overbearing. I never felt that I was being overloaded with info, and when I did make mistakes in an area (e.g. roundabouts), these typically would be corrected within a lesson through gentle repetition and guidance.

I appreciated various innovations DJ has implemented - these are probably the most obvious differentiator from other instructors. E.g., building an app to book through rather than having to call or text (and thereby allowing you to see his diary); sending newsletters or notifications explaining recent test successes or fails etc. I always read these and, particularly when coming up to test, I found they helped put me in the right frame of mind. I've had a couple instructors in the past, and you got the sense with these individuals that instructing was just a job, and you are the means to a paycheque (which is fair enough!). But, with Danny, I felt that he really was rooting for me and actually cared - and that's the main reason why I will always recommend him to others.

I live near Wimbledon, while Danny's home turf is the Surbiton/Tolworth area - so there were times when traffic on the A3 led to late lessons. However, I was always compensated with other lessons/credit, so that I never lost out. Also, communication in these times was good - so no complaints here.

Hope Danny keeps doing what he's doing and helps other other people pass!

Danny has been amazing from start to finish. He helped me pass with such ease and made me feel so relaxed with his approach. He’s very knowledgeable and explains things in an easy way to understand and pick up. Hes friendly and makes the whole experience (that is usually very stressful) fun! Danny is truly the best around!

I couldn’t have asked for a better driving instructor than Danny. He’s calm, patient, and explains everything clearly, which really helped build my confidence from the very first lesson. He always made me feel at ease and turned any mistakes into positive learning experiences.

As a mature learner and having had bad experiences with instructors in the past, I cannot emphasise enough how comfortable Danny made me feel from the outset and I knew I had finally found the right instructor. His style of teaching is so good that I didn’t feel like I was learning a new skill - I felt like I had been driving for years as I became so comfortable and confident due to his style of teaching, which is how to really drive in the real world - not just pass the test.
I passed first time with few minors which was all down to Danny’s teaching style.

I came to Danny after having a negative experience with a previous instructor. He was highly recommended and throughout my driving experience he was so patient and kind and thanks to his teaching I managed to pass my test first time. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Danny and felt like he created a safe and fun environment to learn in. I really enjoyed our discussions and felt really supported throughout the lessons. His visual learning techniques such as using the whiteboard and iPad was particularly helpful in gaining a better understanding of the roads and I would really recommend him to others! Thank you so much Danny and I will be booking some motorway lessons soon!

Danny was a massive help for me in my driving experience! I started off very very nervous and didn’t have the best experience previously, however I found Danny and he was exceptional he helped me find my confidence back and I feel so much at ease with driving now. Passed first time! Couldn’t be happier!

I can't recommed Danny enough. His lessons were super helpful, he particularly helped me with my parking manouvers. He was always on time and always made the lessons very enjoyable. His teaching kept me safe on the roads and was very interesting. He sent super helpful emails keeping me up to date on booking tests etc. Such a good driving instructor and lovely guy. Have already recommended to many friends and will continue to do so.

As a Canadian learning to drive in the UK - let alone in London, I was incredibly nervous, but Danny made the whole experience so much easier. He was incredibly patient, always calm, and had a great way of explaining things that made me feel comfortable and confident behind the wheel. I now actually enjoy driving thanks to him.

Danny has been the best instructor! Gave me the confidence to drive well and safely enabling me to feel well prepared for the test but also post-test to drive on my own. Always going the extra mile with every lesson to make sure I felt confident with each stage of my learning with different techniques and adjusting to my learning style, correcting my mistakes but also commending me for good driving. This is the second 5 star review I’ve left for Danny as he has taught both my children to drive. I would not hesitate to recommend Danny, his philosophy is to teach safe driving for life not just to pass the test. He lives by this and teaches about risk, speed and judgement. He went way over and beyond to support both of them to pass their tests and they are utterly delighted. Great communication, flexibility and such a lovely chap. I will miss seeing his happy face picking them up but we are going to book motorway and driving at night lessons. Thank you Danny!
