Trabajo con DistroMotion como distribuidora de mi música y, sinceramente, la experiencia está siendo increíble. El panel es muy claro, subir lanzamientos es rápido, y todo el proceso de distribución a las diferentes plataformas (Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport, etc.) es súper fluido. Puedo controlar fácilmente fechas de lanzamiento, territorios, formatos y versiones sin perder tiempo en menús confusos.

Lo que más valoro es el trato humano y la rapidez del soporte. Cuando he tenido cualquier duda o un problema puntual con un lanzamiento, me han respondido rápido, con explicaciones claras y soluciones concretas, no respuestas automáticas genéricas. Se nota que conocen el sector, entienden las necesidades de los productores y DJ’s y se implican de verdad en que todo salga perfecto.

A nivel técnico y económico, también están muy por encima de otras distribuidoras con las que he trabajado: buenos precios, condiciones transparentes, reportes claros de las reproducciones y los ingresos, y mucha flexibilidad a la hora de gestionar catálogos, sellos y colaboraciones. En resumen, una distribuidora muy top, completa y fiable, que recomendaría sin dudar a cualquier artista que quiera llevar sus lanzamientos al siguiente nivel.

I am on the hunt to find a good honest reliable music distributor. I got fooled by this place called Distromotion. It won’t accept my 44/24 wav upload though it is correct as required. I even exported it from Audacity to see if that would solve the problem (that was no problem) as they instruct in their website.

Also, trying to use their website with a mobile phone is useless. I tried both android and iPhone in vain. So after pure frustration, I searched if they had website issues and guess what they do! The customer service man I won’t name, was dishonest and led me on saying he used his mobile phone without problems and then said it’s best to use a pc. Here’s a search result on their website performance: They know their website is faulty!

That’s all the confirmation I needed to explain the frustration I experienced with Distromotion.

I am finding these distributors a right pain. Tunecore is the worst. I may decide to share my experience with them another time soon.

I requested my account to be closed, an account unused as I was unable to send even one song because it’s faulty. The reason they give is this:

“Hello as I said I'm not able to provision support or assistance or proceed with any of your requests since you broke our contractual agreement we're binded to.

If you deciede to remove the defamatory review from the third party platform we will be glad and happy to provision with the support you require to process your requests.”

Unbelievable! You won’t be taking continuous payments from me for a website not fit for my purpose as it’s faulty and repeatedly failed as I frustrated myself to upload the first and one song for distribution.

Scam company – stay away!This company is a scam. They take your money and never deliver what they promise. Avoid DistroMotion at all costs.
