Indian Scammers

I have placed many orders through the discover books through the eBay.com but few of them were never received. I did contact them through the eBay but still no resolution received at all. I want my money back on all of those orders which are not received to me.

I ordered 10 books and never got them. They took my money and won’t respond to phone calls or emails. Order numbers 3039478 and 3039479

Truly a scam. We used their services to pick up scrapped books. One day the bin was gone and we have received no payment. Attempts to reach them have been met with silence and now emails are returning as blocked.

Worst company ever, 2 months have gone by and never received book ,but charged my account-----never replied to my messages !!

They are liars and thieves that are taking orders and NOT fullfilling them and stealing your money!!!!

No one there answers the phone or e mails. Never received a book???

Now I just received an e mail that my e mail has been blocked by customer service at Discover Books??????

No detail that were discernable were below???????

Discover Books continued to take orders as a marketplace seller through a major retailer as late as March 14.
But evidently they had closed operations on March 11. And now Discover Books will not answer queries about refunds or the missing orders. Dishonest.

Book not delivered since ordered a month ago. They don't answer phones or respond to cancel order.

Clearly, a fraudulent enterprise. They take your money, make up stories about the delivery and never come through with the product. DO NOT SHOP HERE....

Never received my item. I sent several messages to the seller never got any reply nor have I received a refund or my item. And after reading the reviews I wish I wouldn't have purchased from this company cuz it seems like they are out to scam every Damn person they can! 😡🖕

I ordered 11 books on May 12 on ebay as a gift for. A teacher’s class. We haven’t received the books yet and the tracking number doesn’t work. No one answers my questions to the seller. The teacher is very upset the books for her class haven’t arrived yet!

Discover Books is selling unauthorized bootleg copies of books for which I hold the copyright.

I ordered a book, they sent me a revised version.
They have the " widow's son " , by Billy Dickson advertised and then are sending people his revised edition. The "widow's son" by Billy Dickson was taken off the market by life rich publishing in 2022 as the book was illegaly printed , so it shouldn't be advertised at all. That's why discoverbooks.com are false advertising and sending people a revised edition when that's not what they ordered. I can see the scam that they are attempting. They then tried to tell me the original version is out of stock when the truth is the book has been taken off the market.

When I asked for a refund I am now receiving all sorts of weird response.

Up to date no refund has been issued and I have been given all different reasons and the run around.

Takes too long to receive your order. I placed my order on Jan.5 and it's Jan.9th and my items still haven't shipped. I contacted customer service today and they apologized, but said it would be another 1-2 days before my order shipped. I work out of town and don't know when I will get an assignment to leave so it's important that I get my items when expected. I will not be ordering from them again. 1/10/2024 Received an email from them with no confirmed shipping date and no mention that 4 of the 7 books I ordered were sold out. I went to the website to discover my books were sold out. I cancelled my order. Don't do business with them, it is just a waste of time.

I ordered an engineering text book and received a children story instead. It is my first time buying from Discover books and I am truly unhappy about it. I tried contacting the customer service. We will see if they respond.

Edit: the customer service responded quite fast. They apologized for the error and I got a refund for my order as they didn’t have the book anymore. So I moved my rating experience from 1 to 3 stars due to their good customer service. I think I will give discoverbooks another chance with a new order. Hope I won’t get the wrong order next time!

Horrible. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!! The first couple of times I got the wrong book I thought it was a mistake. At this point Im convinced they dont have the books they claim to and just ship whatever on hand and hope customer gives up. Won't send what you order. USE AT YOUR RISK!!

Ik bestelde een geschiedenis boekje voor maar 5 dollar. Het blijkt afgedankt te zijn door een dorpsbibliotheek in Illinois. Na 6 weken arriveerde het keurig verpakt in Nederland. Wat een service, ik ben er heel erg blij mee! Het boekje uit 1980 krijgt weer nieuwe waardering : )

Not once have I ever been sent the correct book. They list one thing and then just send whatever they can find because they lie on the book descriptions. This is a horrible business.
