Unnecessarily intrusive, slow, feels like something from a dystopian horror show..

Made me want to withdraw my acceptance of the job offer at the company that uses them.

Asking for ridiculous amounts of paper work for screening why do companies use them when you cannot or don’t have relevant paperwork they want I have never come across this is any screening checks I have done. I have proof of address I have proof of national insurance I have bank statements but nooooo the want proof of stuff 20 odd years ago MEANING IVE LOST A GOOD JOB OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE OF THIS PATHETIC COMPANY. I have a dbs certificate why this couldn’t be used baffles me.

A group of incompetent jobsworths. Had to send them the same documents about five times, and prove that I had worked at a summer job which bore no relevance to the job I was applying for. Unnecessarily invasive and time consuming. Ideally would never see the name security watchdog again in my life.

Disgusting company!! Asking for personal information when they should be chasing the references. I was offered a start date before checks have been confirmed and I keep chasing to see if they have been compels but they keep saying it can take weeks but I could lose my new job if the checks aren’t complete. Said to leave my old job because this company cannot be asked to actually do the work!! Companies needs to rethink when asking for this company to take checks for them. Rude agency that do not help and just fob you off to get off the phone. Think needs place needs shutting down.

I am at this time still an hour into trying to submit details to this site; their security portal allows mobile access but is horrendously optimised for it. I clicked the first Tab and it began loading, and just stayed there. I have never seen a professional website this poorly made and optimised. Based on the other reviews here I am buckling in for an intensely bad experience from now on.

Their website also attempts to embed site visit trackers into your browser so they can see a history of other websites you visit. This is at no point declared and at best is strange and suspicious.

Incredibly Slow, unecessarily invasive.

I already hold clearance, they don't need to redo stuff UK vetting service have already done.

Like everyone else here I have found this company totally useless and lost an intake start date because of the them. There agents have no idea how to be professional on the phone or much idea what they need to do so cut you off. Emails are not wrote in any English language I grew up learning. Employers using this company need to reflect on how if reflects on their business too. Avoid at all costs

I have just lost a promising job; one that I haven't seen for years all because if one thing, this site.

I got all my information and posted it on their site, perfect I thought it was hard but I got it all done! How wrong I was even though it said "100% complete all tasks done" there was still one thing more to do, submit, however I am on phone and for whatever reason you can't see the submit button until you relog! Do you get warned about this? NO! So I submitted about 4 hours too late.

Thanks, I just lost the only job I had been looking forward to in years because of this deplorable website. I'm in tears.

Lazy Company. As with all the reviews I’ve read on here, they keep hassling for details you already provide them with through a “portal” that clearly doesn't work, emails clearly stating “encase your employer(s) don’t respond please provide us with bank details” It’s like you have to do their job for them, I should be having their wages because I’m doing their job at this rate. What’s the point of this company if they are too lazy to do their OWN work?

Totally Unprofessional, Not bother to check reference with Previous employer bus asking to get evidence from previous employer so what are their admin people do. Here min 1 star otherwise I will give them minus, very useless and rubbish

Awful experience, they kept asking me same documents over and over, portal is just rubbish. I really hope that I will never hear from them again. Unprofessional and chaotic.

These guys are so rude on the phone. Terrible customer service. They need to work on this. At least 1 in 4 of the people I've spoken to sound very unpleasant. Almost as if they're forcing them to work.

they are absolute a disgrace worst company i can say to get hold of any professional personal who can guide you through, 48 hrs deadline given to fill the form and yet no one there to assist as such they keep call waiting for ages and drops, they take number saying some one will call back past 2 days no one, i dont know this company is so cheap that people are working in that system also behave cheap, also doubtful how they check the screening of the candidates,

Send aggressive, bullying emails containing lies to HR about candidates. Hound candidates for documents from years ago that few would have and act so slowly that there's a real risk of probation being extended all due to their inability. AVOID.

Disgusting service held my dbs 76 days On the last check I am now out of work due to the long wait. do not use this service other employers are now going to use esafegaurding due to the wait. It’s not hard they have the information all there so how can it take so long

web based form is diabolical. Looks and feels like it's been designed by someone who has never heard of the internet. Only given one star as 0 isn't an option.

Over more than two weeks I tried to get our organisation set up to undertake DBS checks through Security Watchdog. I expressed from my first call and email that this was urgent, however received information that was irrelevant to my enquires and wasted a lot of time trying to chase this up. Honestly, the service offered was shockingly poor. I sent emails which were not responded to, tried to call several times, left messages which were also not followed up. I eventually called another company who got us set up over the phone there and then, in less than 30 minutes.
