I highly recommend DirectHub to anyone preparing for the FE Civil Exam, especially working professionals or those returning to the exam after a long gap. I completed my bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 2014 and, although I earned my M.S. in Civil Engineering in 2024, I did not actively prepare for the FE exam until 2026 while working full-time as an engineer. Despite this long gap, I passed the FE Civil Exam, and DirectHub played a significant role in my success.
The course is well structured and, in my opinion, it is sufficient on its own. I did not need any additional study materials other than the FE Reference Handbook and the NCEES Practice Exam. The lecture videos rebuild the fundamentals clearly, and the practice problems reinforce the concepts effectively.
One of the biggest strengths of the course is the quizzes after each topic, which helped me immediately assess my understanding before moving on. In addition, the three full-length practice exams closely simulated the actual FE exam and greatly improved my time management, confidence, and overall readiness.
My advice to anyone taking the FE exam after many years is to watch the lecture videos first, then solve the practice problems and quizzes while following the course sequence. Don't rush directly into solving problems. Rebuilding the concepts first made a tremendous difference for me.

I passed the FE Civil exam on my first try. Since I graduated in 2007, I had no clue where to start with the 14 subjects when planning to take the FE Civil exam. While I can't compare against other prep course, I can say that Farouq's explanations were by far the best when someone have been out of school for so long. I would like to start by saying that I finally passed the FE exam after six attempts, thanks to God and Direct-HUB’s amazing prep course. I tried other courses, but none came close to what Farouq covered. I graduated 17 years ago and went through multiple FE prep courses, where I realized that most of them are designed for recent graduates, which did not help me at all.

This course was really a key to passing my FE. I had taken the exam previously and I failed. Then, when I bought this course, I was able to develop the necessary skills in order to pass. I’m very glad I found this course.

Unbelievable how easy he simplifies the most difficult concepts. What did not make sence at all when I was in college made sence in a 20 min lecture.
I graduated in 2013 and fail the exam back then, now after 12 years out of school I passed the FE with his course review studying 5/6 hours a day for 4 months.
I am very confident I got over 70 to 80% of the test as I was able to answer all of the questions and have some spare time to go over a few of them that I flagged.
Calculator tips were also a big big plus to save time answering the FE questions.
