It is a good buying experience, prices seem on a par with others and shipping is quick.

This is the first time I’ve ordered from Diffords, I ordered a small item which had a delivery charge and then a couple of days later I ordered some wine, which had no delivery charge. Paloma noticed immediately and combined the two orders and refunded my delivery charge which I was very impressed by! Great choice of wine and good value.

We booked ourselves in for the 'Spirited Evening' - a cocktail masterclass hosted by Paloma and Simon Difford. 
We enjoyed such a fantastic evening with our friends and excellent hosts! It was a hugely informative cocktail masterclass with engaging stories about the history of cocktails and their ingredients and set in their very well stocked bar. I've made a lot of cocktails over the years but still discovered new ideas, recipes and techniques. Highly recommended whatever your level of expertise. 

We took 4 of our friends to one of their "Spirited" cocktail masterclass evenings, which they host at the Difford's bar across from their bricks and mortar shop.
What an amazing experience! We started the evening with a welcome cocktail and nibbles, then Simon and Paloma Difford launched straight into the first of two cocktails we were shown how to make, including how to use all the equipment (properly!).
The experience was peppered with snippets and stories from Simon's encounters with the bartenders who invented them, the producers who make the ingredients and the history of the cocktail itself - fascinating!
After each of us making two cocktails (neither of which I would have attempted myself at home), we were given a long list of lovely drinks to choose from. It was mesmerising watching Simon whip them all up. We then sat back and relaxed with our friends, enjoying the rest of the evening in their beautiful bar, before popping over to the shop to stock up on ingredients to add to our cocktail cabinet.
There were another two groups at the masterclass, taking the total number of people to only 12, so we had very personal attention from Simon and Paloma throughout the evening.
The next morning we received an email thanking us for coming with links to the cocktail recipes from the night before and the ingredients in their online shop, should we wish to make them at home in future.
Our friends had a fantastic time - two of them learning exactly how their favourite cocktails should be made properly - and we all went home very happy/merry indeed!
It should be noted that the Difford's bar is (sadly) not open to the public, only for pre-booked events, but luckily the shop is open 4 days a week and the online shop is open 23/7 (of course!).
We will be back!

Diffords has a great range of cocktail-related items, many of which are not easily available elsewhere. Prices are sensible, and despatch is prompt.

What an amazing shop, with superb service. Everything you need to create cocktails. Unusual, hard to find ingredients and help from Simon and Paloma. A hidden gem!

Amazing service.
The delivery actually ended up being delivered incorrectly by the courier, but within moments of emailing Diffords, they got back, then managed to track down where it was (another address on the street). And I had it all within the day.
The drinks, of course, were delicious as always.

Excellent selection of products and fast delivery. I will be using Difford's again.

I ordered the cocktail book for friends for Christmas and was so impressed I brought myself one also! 😁

Very easy to view and order. Sending as an EGift card was easy to complete and the recipient received the voucher straight away. Very satisfied with the company.
