Matt was amazing! We worked with him over the period of a few months. Given certain risk factors we had to wait to submit our application. He was incredibly knowledgeable and even months later followed up to check in and advised us on the best path forward. When no one else would work with us- he did. Very grateful for his time and expertise!

Knowledgeable and effective
I would recommend Matt to anyone with diabetes. Matt immediately asked a lot of good questions about my diabetes and other health history, guided and talked me through the application process (including clarifying my goals, a thoughtful sequencing of applications, and preparing for a medical exam), helped me find the policies that meet my needs at the lowest price possible, and communicated promptly and clearly at every step of the process.

Matt refused to provide up front sample quote ranges for our age group. Their website provides sample prices for ages 30 - 50 only. He became accusatory and rude when we requested sample prices before handing over our confidential health information electronically. Buyer beware! This company has 10 complaints on the Better Business Bureau website.

Hello Julia M., Thank you for taking the time to provide us with some feedback and for editing your review again.
After reviewing your file / notes, an agent contacted you and attempted to provide you with the information you were seeking on your spouse with type 1 diabetes. We offered to even speak over the phone to collect what was needed. However, you simply refused to provide the necessary diabetes and health information that's required for an accurate quote.
We do not know anything about your husband such as his age of diabetes onset, a1c history, glucose level history, or if there's diabetes complications. Nor do we know if he has severe health history of Alzheimer's, heart attacks, cancer etc.
It's impossible to provide quotes without knowing this information. A person's diabetes history and overall health determines what rates, and what policy options there may be. Sadly when consumers refuse to cooperate, we close their file.
You could have reviewed sample rates for your spouse but you would not share any health information with us.
Also, we are NOT a member of the BBB, and all the complaints filed were from people like you who were not able to comply with our sales process. Our 100's of 5 stars reviews speak for themselves as nobody works harder for the diabetes community than we do
