BEAWARE!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
I placed an order last year and have been automatically signed up for a pro membership I was not aware of.they started charging me £179 two times without any knowledge. Do not order from them guys.

Goods arrived on first order. Not the same for the second! No support for a return or refund!! Scam!

Very disappointed after a good start my pro account randomly stopped working and I was told by customer support that my account didn't exist and never did! I wrote it off as a scam and was disappointed to lose short of €200.

However, after another few months went by another renewal payment went through my 'non existent account' again I was told my account didn't exist but after a few more chats I finally had someone 'find' my account including a new one they had me set up while trying to resolve the issues but I still couldn't log into it.

I did spend nearly an hour with a technician trying to log in and in fairness he was trying to resolve the issue by sending codes etc. but it didn't work and he was to call back the next day, which he did but I was working and missed the call, unfortunately he didn't try again.

I contacted customer support again after a week and requested a call back the following day, this didn't happen until two days later when I was working and was on another call and unfortunately again he hasn't called me back since. So the saga continues, I'll have to spend half an hour explaining myself to customer care....

I'm now down nearly €400 because of two renewals but I've been told I can't get a refund for any of it but yet they can't seem to rectify the account issue either so I could not recommend using their service as unfortunately it simply doesn't work!

Scam artists, do not sign up with this company. They charged me €179 for absolutely nothing and now they refuse to refund me. I have to contact Visa directly to try and get a refund. They are a only out to trick and rob people of money.

Just like seems to have happened to so many others this company have tried to take £179 from me for Pro membership I did NOT knowingly take out with them.
FORTUNATELY the payment was declined by my bank and upon contacting the desertcart I was made to feel it was something I had definitely signed up to. Best advice I can offer is use another company - this one is making a fortune tricking people into signing up for something they did not solicit.

Still haven't been refunded the 179 euro they defrauded me of . .. and I see they're still getting away with it from the new reviews.
By the way I didn't subscribe to their pro membership, no matter what they say . ...
I put down the experience as 2024 because as of now ii still have not received any refund although still trying. ..

I would avoid shopping on desertcart.ie. I received the wrong item. I shop online frequently so I wasn't too worried as most often than not it's easily fixed, however not with Desertcart. Their customer service is really really poor. I will not be shopping with them again.

Desertcart uses 'Dark Pattern' subscription scheme. I set out to make a once-off purchase from desertcart.ie on my mobile phone. I didn't opt-in for PRO Subscription; it was selected by default, placed among multiple similar look'n'feel buttons, small 'Change' text (no checkbox), and away from the 'Buy' button.
I used Apple Pay for a faster checkout.
Received one subsequent email that at the time I dismissed as yet-another-marketing-email, which contained a line about free trial ending at the end of the body of the email; nothing prominent.
The sneaky free trial period lapsed and I was charged in full €179 for annual subscription that I never wanted.
Completely dupped, I have significantly lower trust for any online retailer. I wish I'd checked TrustPilot; 2.6 says a lot!!!
Desertcart isn't illegal, but it is misguiding, dishonest, unfair, sneaky. All bad traits and despicable business conduct. DesertCart disgusts me as an entity. Wish I could give zero stars on TrustPilot.

Probably the worst experience online !
After ordering on their website an item costing more than 300 euros. Asked for a return and refund. Still 3 weeks later and no label to send back. they find excuses and excuses. I highly not recommend at all…

Went to buy the Warhammer codex for Aeldari. Website said it was 42 euro with free shipping to Ireland. Went to checkout, delivery had gone from free to 35 euro. And purchasing the book would mean I'd automatically be billed 179 euro for some subscription. Needless to say, I didn't buy the codex.

I'd avoid these if I were you, don't seem very reputable at all with their sales tactics. I have screen shots of all the web pages to prove false advertising

I ordered from them Parachute hair oil and they sent me a phone message that it was out of stock. I asked for the refund but never got any money back from them. Not even one email sent to me either with order number. Obviously I couldn't quote it when they asked for the order number after I had queried why the refund was never issued. To me it was a scam experience!!!

price doubles in a few days so seems to be a common ploy and although they say you can order via paypal they wont give you the option so stay away
