We recently travelled to Dentgroup Lara and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough.

Like many people, we’d heard all the warnings about going to Turkey for dental work, but this experience completely changed our perspective. My husband had always been very self-conscious about his teeth due to a missing tooth and uneven shaping, and this has genuinely transformed not just his smile, but the way he sees himself.

He spent months researching clinics before choosing Dentgroup Lara, and it was absolutely the right decision.

We stayed in Antalya for 18 days and throughout that time he had multiple procedures including extractions, wisdom teeth removal, root canals, temporary teeth, and finally his crowns. Every step of the process was handled with care and professionalism.

His consultant, Asrem, was incredible. She was warm, friendly, and immediately made us both feel comfortable. She explained everything clearly and was always available to answer questions, even messaging back at all hours. By the end, it felt like we were leaving friends, not just a clinic. She also arranged complimentary airport transfers, which we really appreciated.

One thing that really stood out was the transparency. There were absolutely no hidden costs. The price quoted at the beginning is exactly what we paid, even with all the additional treatments. Things that could easily be upsold elsewhere — like night guards, anaesthesia, a bridge, and even multiple sets of temporary teeth were all included. That level of honesty is rare.

The clinic itself is spotless and very modern, with small touches like free WiFi and a drinks machine (coffee, hot chocolate etc.) which made waiting during appointments much more comfortable.

My husband’s dentist, Dr Nisa, was exceptional. A true professional and perfectionist. She took her time with everything and never made us feel rushed. It was clear she genuinely cared about achieving the best possible result, even helping guide decisions like shape and shade. Her English was excellent, so communication was never an issue, and everything was explained thoroughly.

What surprised us most was that the whole experience was actually enjoyable. We never dreaded going back - quite the opposite.

I even ended up having treatment myself. I had an issue with a tight frenum causing gum recession and decided to get it checked while we were there, especially since consultations and X-rays were free (which would be quite expensive back home in Australia). I was able to have it treated immediately, completely pain-free, and recovery was so smooth I only needed one painkiller. Even with stitches, I felt fine almost straight away. And each time we returned for my husband's appointments they would always get me in the chair to also check on my recovery.

Honestly, I would trust this team with any dental work. They are more thorough, transparent, and genuinely caring than any dentist we’ve experienced in Australia, and I never thought I’d say this, but they made going to the dentist a positive experience.

We’re already talking about coming back in the future, and I’d recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I honestly don't even know where to start with this review because my experience at DentGroup Lara was next level from day one.

I came over from London with basically a month's notice, which in hindsight was a bit ambitious, but Asrem made the whole thing feel completely manageable from our very first conversation. She was my translator and point of contact throughout the entire journey, and honestly the amount of knowledge she has about every procedure, timeline and cost breakdown was insane. I'm pretty sure she could just go ahead and become a dentist herself at this point, she knows that much! I came in wanting 20 zirconia crowns placed, 4 wisdom teeth out, plus a complicated upper palate extraction, and I was very clear that I didn't want anything rushed. Asrem completely got that and made sure we built in enough healing time between stages to get the best possible result. Her professionalism and the genuine care she showed me as a patient was above and beyond anything I expected, and I'd recommend her to any of my friends or family back home in Australia or England without hesitation.

Dr Nisa is an absolute superstar and honestly deserves a raise for how professional she was throughout this whole process, I'm only half joking! Her attention to detail and time management were on another level completely. She sat with me and went through sizing options and shade options for my teeth, explaining the pros and cons of each so I actually understood what I was choosing. One day she and her dental assistant even stayed back an hour after closing just to make sure my temporary teeth were absolutely perfect before letting me head home. You could tell from the start that she genuinely wanted the perfect result for me, and that showed the whole way through. Oh, and her English was fantastic too, which made communicating every little detail so much easier.

My surgeon for the extractions was a true professional too. I was in zero pain during or after, and the whole healing process was smooth from start to finish.
On top of all that, the reception team were so friendly and welcoming every single time, remembering us by name and always offering tea and refreshments when we walked in.
The clinic itself is clean, modern and professional through and through. If you're considering a smile makeover, zirconia crowns or surgical extractions, I couldn't recommend DentGroup Lara enough.
