Thank you for getting in touch and we're sorry to hear there's an item outstanding from your recent orders.
We can see you placed your order on 29th November and our stock indicator at the time would have shown that the item was not in stock. This was flagged at the cart stage before checkout with the following message that appeared next to the product, highlighted with a big warning/exclamation mark in an orange triangle:
"We don't have the full quantity you requested, but we'll back order the remaining quantity which will be sent as soon as we have it in stock - Usually within 5-10 working days."
We can see that we sent you an order confirmation email that stated:
"Please note, any items not in stock at the time you placed your order will be backordered and sent on to you as soon as we receive them, this is usually with 5-10 working days but timescales can vary."
Back ordered items are usually dispatched within 5-10 working days but this can vary.
No additional delivery charges apply to items on back order.
Orders dispatched on Fridays will not be delivered until the next working day (Monday for Mainland UK).

The item in question was receipted into our warehouse yesterday (1st December) so we would anticipate it being dispatched to you tomorrow for arrival on Thursday the 4th December.
Our communication on the estimate was 5-10 working days for dispatch and it looks like it will actually be 4 working days, so less than we hopefully anticipated.

Good evening,
Thank you for getting in touch and we're sorry to hear there's an item outstanding from your recent orders.
The order this review relates to was for 1 item and was fulfilled so we assume you are referring to the order placed on Friday the 14th November at 10.27am.
This was an order for 8 different products, 7 of which were dispatched and should be with you.
The 8th item was not in stock at the time you placed the order. This was flagged at the cart stage before checkout with the following message that appeared next to the product, highlighted with a big warning/exclamation mark in an orange triangle:
"We don't have the full quantity you requested, but we'll back order the remaining 2 which will be sent as soon as we have it in stock - Usually within 5-10 working days."
We can see that we sent you an order confirmation email that was delivered to you at 10.28am on the 14th November, this email stated:
"Please note, any items not in stock at the time you placed your order will be backordered and sent on to you as soon as we receive them, this is usually with 5-10 working days but timescales can vary."
We then sent you a dispatch email that was delivered at 1.18pm on the 14th of November that listed everything that was being dispatched with information on any back ordered items as follows:

Back ordered items are usually dispatched within 5-10 working days but this can vary.

We can't see any emails from you requesting more information but perhaps you called in and spoke to someone on our team.
The item in question was receipted into our warehouse yesterday (29th November) so we would anticipate it being dispatched to you tomorrow for arrival on Tuesday the 2nd November.
Our communication on the estimate was 5-10 working days for dispatch and it looks like it will actually be 11 working days.
This is slightly outside our target timeframe but we do say it is an estimate and timescales can vary.
Nevertheless, we are sorry that you had a longer than anticipated wait to receive one of the items from your order.
We think that our communication on the status of your backordered item seems clear and we can not see any other contact made from you to request an update on that estimate but again we're sorry if you did make contact and did not get a clear answer from us.
One of our agents will be in touch when our offices open in the morning to confirm dispatch of the item and to see if there's anything else we can do to improve your experience.
