As a previous reviewer has alluded to, this company don't appear to like paying refunds. A merchant sourced through their platform let me down repeatedly and so I requested a refund from DeliverMyMotor, specifically to my original method of payment.

They ignored my request (having, predictably, not even bothered to apologise for the circumstances that led to me having to request the refund in the first place), and instead issued me with a credit for the site. I asked for this to be withdrawn and for a proper refund to be issued. This request was ignored, and so I followed it up with a further request, and an explanation that I would seek restitution through my bank if it was not forthcoming from them.

Their response? They blocked and closed down my account, accused me of fraud (the mind boggles) and aggressively threatened to send my details to a national fraud register. Perhaps they were anticipating what I was considering having to do, and so thought they would try to achieve some sort of puerile counter-accusation first.

I have now obtained a refund, having lodged a complaint via my bank, but I can only reflect on how odd, sad and unprofessional DeliverMyMotor are.

There are plenty of similar, but more professional and reputable companies, offering an identical service - my advice would be to steer clear of these insecure shysters, and opt for one of their more superior competitors.

EDIT - The shameless owner, who uses different aliases across his social media accounts, (tells it's own story!), made 9 edits of his response in the space of ten mins, ranging from the downright abusive to the downright untrue. Have a look at some of the other negative reviews and you'll see that this is how he operates when confronted with true and accurate reviews - threats, lies and panic!

Having had a really bad experience the week before with Shiply I was reluctant to try Delivermymotor as it seemed like the same sort of site. I needed my car moved urgently as the garage it was in had it for months without doing any work and had been ignoring my messages. I put the job up and was contacted by a local guy who had been vetted by delivermymotor. I explained the situation and he agreed to meet me at the garage to retrieve my car. He was highly professional throughout and saved me a whole lot of stress. I have already left the driver a review on delivermymotor but I just wanted to say how happy I am.

This is the first time I have needed a car transporting. So glad I found “Delivermymotor”, the whole experience was made so easy by Paul who helped me through the process without any dramas.
Best price by far on the internet, the deliver company kept me informed at each step of the delivery. A fantastic service from James who was pleasant and very knowledgeable.
I would recommend anyone who needs a vehicle moved to use this company…6 stars if it were possible.

Just be aware - this business is essentially a guy running a basic website from his phone. You will find zero real contact details, they will not provide a telephone number, just some poorly worded and laid out FAQs, they basically do not want to deal with you. I set up a simple job/quote which lead to dozens of replies from truck drivers, for which you will find it virtually impossible to check their credentials (apart from ‘VIP’ badges and frankly pretty spurious ratings within the website of this business). I eventually opted for an apparently well rated operator as the quotes I received were all very similar, and searching for the actual names and business details of the truck drivers proved to be a needle in a haystack. All confirmed and then a fee paid upfront to this business at circa £80.00. Happy enough, and I even asked the truck driver if he wanted to quote on a second similar job, moving another car for me. A week or so later I mentioned the booking I had made to a trusted business colleague, who it turned out had used a driver via this business earlier this year, which had resulted in a major hassle and loss for him, still an ongoing claim and legal case against the truck driver who had moved his car. He basically warned me that this business (Deliver My Motor) ignored him, washing their hands of his problems with the truck driver. So on reflection I decided to cancel. No big deal, the job/booking was weeks away, plenty of notice. However there is NO functionality on the website to cancel, nothing. So I emailed both them and the truck driver to cancel (tried calling the truck driver a couple of times first before emailing). Didn’t ask or expect my fee back from Deliver My Motor. What I then got was a series of childish and rude notes from Deliver My Motor (only emails though, as above, despite my asking them for a contact telephone) accusing me of having a ‘chip on my shoulder’ and trying to ‘rip them off’. Just ridiculous stuff. (for the record, I had not booked a second job with their truck driver/user, and if I did so it would be his responsibility to log the new job with Deliver My Motor, if he chose or needed to, not mine). So on balance folks, just be aware that you are simply dealing with a portal and a one man band in this business. Which is all good in the grand scheme of things….until you have a problem or change of any kind it seems! UPDATE EDIT - a shrewd reader of the essay response to my review will spot the desperation and whacky accusations which make no sense or have any relevance to what I experienced. Facts remain: I booked, I tried to cancel by normal means with NO desire for any refund. Honest advice from real-world experience of a trusted friend lead to my decision, simple and straightforward. As to the waffle regarding a second booked job, it wasn’t agreed booked or confirmed in any fashion. But if it had been, the responsibility to flag any job externally would plainly be for the truck driver, not the customer. I didn’t sign up for any exclusivity, in any form. If the truck drivers do, that’s to them to manage and process. All in all, a peculiar experience with a very troubling business, one which I will of course avoid and will advise others I encounter to do likewise. Thanks for the best wishes though, I’ve booked both movements with the market leading national provider, as this has never been about price, but is and will always be about quality and trustworthiness. UPDATE EDIT 2: The hefty wacky essay which was their first reply has now been removed and replaced with the quick easy one below instead. All very very peculiar. No vendettas here, just plain and frank sharing of my own experience, in light of the experience of a trusted colleague and friend who shared it with me. And ZERO nasty or aggressive emails from me at any time, do I strike you (dear reader) here as someone who would need or choose to send bile in emails? My guess (without reading them all) being that the positive reviews upon the business are primarily from the truck drivers who use it, not actual end user customers. That’s fine, all quite clear, but does it reflect - rationally- the experiences of customers in a balanced fashion? Hey-ho, I’ll be getting on with my very very happy life (incl those two movements of cars, all booked and confirmed professionally with a sound and well regarded business). Best to all!
UPDATE EDIT 3! Yet again this business has carefully revised their peculiar responses. This is the THIRD time. This time the proprietor (Paul) has inserted an added comment about refunds. I have at NO time sought any refund, in fact their terms state that no refunds of fee will be forthcoming, but regardless, I simply did not request a refund. As to the rest, why would any user carry on and ‘give it a try’ in light of warnings of bad experiences from trusted friends?

I accepted a fair quote from Vehicle Transpirt Kinross to collect my (limp mode) E55 AMG and deliver it 110 miles. I was initially disconcerted by the drivers age, but this fear was quickly resolved when he proved to be very reliable, capable and an excellent steady driver.
Excellent service and j would definitely use them again next time.
