I finished my iva in November completion certificate received and printed . I have been emailing debt movement as I'm still on the individual insolvency register after 4 months . No replies to emails pointless phoning as all you get is a clueless message service I am not happy about this , their work is not done until I'm off the IIR and it's their responsibility to inform them I did not start my iva with this company and most definitely would not choose them they're rubbish with no customer service skills whatsoever

A bunch of Thieves.... Having already paid off £6180 of an initial debt of £6180 with 11 months of payment and a windfall - they are still refusing to acknowledge those payments - despite holding them since march & april 2023!!! They have gained interest on £4882.25 of windfall payments in their account for a year and I am still in the same position. Having spoken to my debtors, they are not aware that debt movement are holding this money!!
So now we have to employ a lawyer to get this resolved.

Debt Movement managed my iva very good well. help me on the journey.after take out my iva for dix years.it came to end next years.all the staff fantastic helpful to me because im Asian people every years g have to write old fashions to the company to tell them of my icome and experience.report.my English not very good and lm 60 year old man cant ust the computer to report to them.but they so helpful to help me. i have nothing to say.thank so much to all the staff helping me fantastic customer service.im highly recommend to this company. i hope i can move on one more years to finish. and i thank to Laura rose helpme to move on to iva.

Awful experience .... I will never recommend this company. The last person I spoke with was unprofessional, curt, cold opinionated and most of all rude. I wrote a complaint letter 8 Feb and to date haven't had a response. I paid off my final payments on 23rd February 24 and not received acknowledge of this either. This whole experience has made me badly ...
well dispute having confirmation someone will contact me I've still heard nothing.... I've now contact FSA. This company has appalling customer service.

My experience with debt movement during my IVA has been chaotic and stressful to say the least due to mis-information and a lack of communication over a period of many years. However after one phone call with Susan Carr I can honestly say my opinions have changed completely! She managed to tie up many years of stress and worry in just one call.
Susan managed to make what is often quite a transactional and shameful process into something that felt comforting and filled me with confidence. She is a true credit to the company.
She is non judgmental, caring and for the first time in years I felt I was actually being listened to and treated like a real human rather than just another case on a screen for her. She calls when promised, communicates clearly and calms during the process.
Thank you again to Susan for resolving many years of stress worry and sleepless nights ! My Iva is finally completed and all I can say I wish ide spoken with her sooner!All the best ! Mrs F

Finished my Iva still getting phone calls and letters from debtors, trying to send the letters on doc link but forgot my login. When you ring you speak to a message service which are no help

Debt movement managed my case well and kept me informed along the way. Specifically Richard Lewis who was always on hand to answer my many questions, and went above and beyond to produce the IVA completions certificate. A model employee in my eyes.

Urgently need confirmation via email that I have successfully made a lump sum of £616 (last 7 x months of payments) as mine and husbands car is falling apart and we have been accepted for finance for a new one but lender won't release funds to broker until theyve seen proof that my IVA balance is now zero. I have rung 3 x and yesterday was told the people that answer the phone to "existing customers" (option 3) cant access customer accounts due to GDPR and are only there to provide advice/pass messages on. The same monotonous greeting that I have received each time I called, at first I thought I was speaking to a robot/AI. I had to ask if it was a real person. I don't understand why staff who are answering Debt Movement's phones cannot access existing customer accounts. All the guy could do was send an email to Laura Prescott (who i requested it was sent to) as she is my IVA supervisor. I have sent an email myself and also a message on the portal but have not even received a holding email back acknowledging receipt of my email or when I can expect a response. Meanwhile I'm off with my husband to test drive a car tomorrow that we cannot purchase in one go like a normal person because I NEED EMAIL PROOF that I have paid off my IVA in full so I can upload it to First Response Finance's portal. Please deal with this as a matter of urgency!! Thank you!!

Me and my wife got our selves into bother with money ,after taking out our Iva for 6long years , it came to an end last August and with the fantastic help off Richard Lewis our debt manager/adviser it was finally finished . He was so helpful during the nightmare,and even after our Iva was closed we had letter from a previous lender , Richard once again came to help resolve the matter . He has gone above and beyond for us and we will always be grateful for this . Top man thanks

Well, after 5 years my IVA has been finally completed and it is a relief beyond words. That would not be possible without Debt Movement, their help, and their professional approach to my case. Honorable mention goes to my case manager Richard Lewis who managed to sum up and close my case swiftly and in an immaculate manner.
I can write nothing but good words here and highly recommend this company and this particular employee.
And if you struggle with debts and it all seems catastrophic and out of control do not give up and get in touch with Debt Movement immediately!

I can not keep up with the payments there asking for so I have decided to cancel my iva with them not helpful in trying to sort things for me the worse company to go with for and iva avoid at all costs

I have had a constant problem with communication with debt movement. They seem unable to comprehend that some people find the internet difficult. I have asked for help to fill in income and expenditure form. No support and help even though my husband has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Time that should be spent making memories is being filled with stress over my IVA. .My son had an Iva with another company who when being told of our home situation bent over backwards to help. Email can’t deal with the things that need solving when someone is dying and they won’t speak to me on the phone

Received my completion paperwork today after just after 5 years. I had a bit of trouble getting in touch as I reached the end but as soon as Laura Rose took on the case it was outstanding, she just got on with sorting a really fair proposal to end my IVA, once she took on my case, I left her to it and she was just fabulous. The feeling of receiving the email to confirm completion tonight was the best feeling ever! Whilst it was a tough 5 years it was the only option meaning I could keep my house and I paid off the majority of what I owed. Feel brilliant. Laura Rose - Thanks

Finally after long six years I had paid off my IVA and completed my payments.
My case was looked after by Chan, he was so understanding and so supportive even in the very hard time he kept me going and answered all my questions.
Luckily I don’t have to deal with IVA again but if in the future I will need to use it again, without a doubt I will contact Chan and get the help again.

it was challenging time for me as I'm profoundly deaf, contacting IVA companies was very hard, I'm one of those people who having trouble using the phones to speak to a agent, unfortunately it was challenging they won't let me contact them thought third party due to data protection, however the company I was with is now in administration then debt management took over and they were understanding and happy to email me, which was best form of communation I've been with them for 4 years now and I got 11 months left on IVA, hopefully I can move on my next chapter of my life. Debt Management have been excellent and always try to help me with communation via email. once my debt clears in December 2024 then I can move on my life :)

I was completely overwhelmed with how well Chan dealt with my case and he was so Professional, I would give Chan 10 stars if I could.
