I just received a letter from Bank of America congratulating me on using a Debt Management Company. Announced that instead of paying 29% interest, my new interest rate is 5.7%. Bank of America, one of the toughest and most unforgivable companies to deal with your debt.
Using DebtHelper.com, my average interest rate was 27.8% and now is 3.7%. My debt was out of control, making me mentally ill because I was feeling helpless. I was unable to get anyone to give me a loan (one that came with higher interest rate) just to get 1 payment on my own. I've been making high interest minimum payments a month for over 10 years and wasn't making a dent on any of my debt.
