Der Preis der am Anfang angegeben wird stimmt nicht. Es kommen Kosten für ein "Auftragshandling" dazu, ausserdem wird einem versucht eine nutzlose Versicherung aufzudrücken. Dinge, die eigentlich selbstverständlich sein sollten, kosten extra.
Beim Abschliessen der Bestellung wird der Betrag ohne Auftragshandling als Total angezeigt, abgebucht wird dann aber mehr.
Generell sind die Bedingungen bei Veranstaltungen wo Datasport zu Einsatz kommt schlecht, was wohl auch an den Veranstaltern liegt - aber primär an Datasport, hier werden die Standard der Branche gesetzt.
Fazit: Nicht so richtig seriöse Firma. Der Webshop ist veraltet, das UI wirkt gebastelt und die Prozesse sind nicht richtig durchgedacht. Die angebotenen Anpassungen von Anmeldungen sind lächerlich, es geht kaum etwas und Rückerstattungen gibt es keine wenn die neue Anmeldung günstiger ist.
Empfehlung an alle Organisatoren: Einen besseren Partner suchen, der mehr von Web-Technologie versteht und sich ernsthaft um faire Konditionen kümmert.

Other reviewers have already pointed to the layers of extra costs which DataSport adds on, e.g., for the payment mechanisms, which frequently are 5-10% of the total price. In my mind the listed event cost should be the price you pay. There are supposedly ways to bypass these "cream skimming" costs, but in reality DataSport makes those paths impossible to use, so you have to put up with them.

But my last experience shows that DataSport's high margins do not imply good service: I tried to register my wife and son for an event through my account. Everything went through normally and I paid the bill with their 5% markup, but received no confirmation, probably due to an IT bug. I wrote to them with the confirmation of payment, but for several emails they claimed they had received no registration and completely ignored the payment confirmation. On the third email from my side, they finally confirmed that they had received payment, but "we had to forward your request to IT, so it will take a moment for it to be fully processed."

I'm fed up with DataSport's high margins, particular if they provide bad service if something goes wrong. I love sporting events, but I will no longer participate if these use DataSport for registration. Hopefully other frustrated sports-lovers will join me.

Man wird zur hauseigenen Versicherung gedrängt, die in vielen Fällen wohl nutzlos ist.
Alle Zahlungsmöglichkeiten kosten gesalzene Aufpreise.
Die einzig kostenlose Möglichkeit, der Datasport Gutschein, geht nicht, weil der Webshop für den Gutschein nicht erreichbar ist.
Die nächstgünstigere Möglichkeit, Klarna, funktioniert schon mit der grössten Bank des Landes (UBS) nicht.
Es bleibt einem nichts anderes übrig als die hohen Gebühren zu zahlen.
