Very pleasant, polite, listened to me patiently to understand the problem, impressive. However I had bad experience with DAS appointment lawyers.

Normally I would not offer a positive review as most dealings with insurance companies make you feel they are looking for a way to avoid a claim.
In this instance Mr. Ali took the time to really understand the issue and gave me excellent advice. Irrespective of the legal outcome he made me feel the premium was worth it. He took the trouble to help me so I m happy to take the trouble to do this rating

I am happy to write a review for DAS Law. They have been a great help to me. They were good listeners and gave good suggestions again and again. My property was flooded from above and they helped me through a difficult situation. I give DAS law a very high score.

I have been thoroughly satisfied with the service Ben provided me with our employment case. He's been incredibly patient with my many questions, kind with his answers and generous with his time. It was quite a nuanced case with many different threads, but Ben was not daunted. He was always very professional but also lighthearted and friendly in his manner. I was really impressed by his knowledge and insight, thank you Ben!

I used to be a solicitor over 20 years ago and came off the roll in order to run a business so have some knowledge as to what good legal advice should be and am writing this review as someone who only uses DAS for legal advice relating to my business.

Additionally, this review is in respect of my experience with the legal adviser Sarah Garner at DAS Law and not any other adviser. I have found that the advice given by the advisers at DAS Law varies. For instance, some advisers tend to waffle a lot without giving clear concise advice and some just want to regurgitate law without applying it pragmatically. Often, on legal advice lines you find advisers take a conservative rather than a balanced interpretation of the law.

I have found Sarah to be an exceptionally pragmatic adviser who listens and grasps the issues with any legal problem quickly. Her advice is concise, clear, balanced and where possible pragmatic. I ask to speak to her only each time and thank DAS that they allow you to speak to an adviser that suits you as an individual.

Shambles. I was passed onto DAS much to my disappointment from the company that insures my business - Balens. I complained, "I do not want a legal company (DAS) with below 4-star average rating to handle my case".
DAS told me they will cover me for £250k legal fees. I made arrangements accordingly during a stressful legal case. They then passed me onto ANOTHER company, who had an even worse average rating than DAS. Later, surprise surprise, I get the news from DAS that actually, they made a mistake, and they will NOT cover my legal fees. JOKE

DAS has been excellent in every respect, with legal advice, but particularly Sarah Garner, who has been incredibly helpful and knowledgeable.
Would definitely recommend and use again.

All my previous 1-Star reviews of DAS LEI / DAS Group have been deleted without reason.
All the information was genuine, fair, honest and without prejudice, so I have to ask what they have to hide and question why they are so keen and desperate to keep deleting mine, and others, reviews?
Obviously as dodgy as their service and financial status!!!

We used DAS law through our legal expenses insurance. Christopher Lee was assigned to our case and was very helpful in every aspect. He listened well to everything we told him and found the time to speak whenever we needed to. He explained our options and kept us informed every step of the way. Eventually this resulted in us settling our claim in our favour. Chris is a credit to DAS law and would use him again but I hope I never have too!

Awful! Twists wording in your policy to find any excuse not to cover you for something totally reasonable. Off to the ombudsman, and I highly recommend anyone else experiencing problems with these con artists to do the same.

Terrible experience. Over one week since we first contacted DAS and they still haven’t fixed our emergency leak. Repeatedly say they are coming but don’t turn up, have stayed in waiting for them multiple times. They are so hopeless that I have zero confidence that they will actually fix the issue properly.

No one wants to go to law in a dispute. I was looked after by two das law ladies and the service was excellent. They carefully guided me through the process and were more than happy to answer any queries. Communication was excellent and led to a successful outcome. I would recommend DAS law to anyone having a dispute requiring legal intervention.

Absolutely horrendous handling of a legal expenses claim (actually 3 in the end!) Not only have they tried every trick in the book to slither out of honouring their insurance cover in all of these matters, but dealing with this entirely morally and professionally inept company has simply further wasted considerable amounts of time and energy. The law firms they use have been entirely incompetent and 4 months down the line I am still waiting to find out if they will be representing me or not. The Legal Ombudsman and the SRA have now been involved. Summary - this insurance cover is not worth the paper it is written on and I will be avoiding any primary insurer that uses DAS for its legal cover like the plague in future - and will be sure to let that insurer know why I have decided not to go with their policy.

Chris at DAS Law was superb with our long (several years) and complicated litigation case. He explained everything thoroughly from start to finish, answering all our many questions along the way. Communication was excellent throughout and we felt supported through a difficult process, with us also achieving a positive outcome.

i took this company 3 times to the financial ombudsman. they have been incompetent on 3 occassions. each time they have mess up the claim.
even the complaints dept is bad/
very poor service. they should operate as circus clowns but it is not funny at your expense.
i am surprise that they are allow to continue
claiming to represent the public and they dont know how to handle small claims. the company should be investigated and close down

Do not use DAS for business legal cover. They have refused to settle my claim citing excuse after excuse. Their policies are not worth the paper they are written on. GO ELSEWHERE!

Bureaucratic, slow, incompetent, and take to long to act. The worst firm ever - avoid, especially as an add on in an insurance policy. The likelihood of securing specialist advice or, perish the thought, financial assistance is nil. Be very careful when choosing your insurance policy. Google 'DAS complaints insurance', and you will see what I mean.

Tried making a claim and the experience has been like 'a death of a thousand cuts' where is takes about ten days for DAS to respond to emails from me and each time it does it comes up with a new reason for not to pursuing my claim to enforce the outcome from bidding arbitration - each of its objections have overturned with evidence. After several months of 'toing and froing' I suspect that we're now at the point where DAS ought to be proceeding to appoint a lawyer.

Its clear to me that the purpose of DAS is not to pursue/defend legal claims but instead it seems to be to avoid initiating any legal work in order to hang on to its clients' premiums. I'm far from impressed with the lack f service I have received and I will be complaining to my house insurance supplier about its appalling service.

No way have DAS got any stars rating only 1 that allows public to write their true stories to warn others of what is disgraceful and discriminate its unbelievably bad especially as through AGE co its proof cannot trust anyone

Well DAS U.K. group team has listened sympathy to me and quickly met my needs.
