Does not ship, no customer service, concerned this is a scam

We ordered from Cushie 14 days ago and the order remains unfulfilled. They market shipping in 1-2 days, which is obviously not true. We have been trying to get in contact with customer service or really anyone at the company. We have sent several emails (to both their accounts listed on the site) starting 9 days ago, have spent days on their “chat” (it’s been over 72 hours since I initially reached out to them on their chat an never heard back), reached out via their “Contact us” page on their website, and even send DMs on Instagram (and they posted on their Instagram without responding to my DMs). I even tried to post a review on their site so others would know that the 1-2 days shipping that they promised is incorrect, but they haven’t allowed for my review to be posted publicly on their website. I am at a complete loss about what to do next. We spent a lot of money on this and were planning on having it soon. We are nervous that the company is just going to take our money. They definitely did not fulfill their marketing promises, but it is really disconcerting that they haven’t told us there is a delay and won’t respond to us at all despite us spending so much time and effort trying to reach out to them. This is the worst experience that we’ve ever had with a company. The last 4 emails I sent was just begging for an update or a refund. Still nothing. If Cushie reads this: please respond to us and give us an update. We’re trying to post where we can so we can hopefully get what we paid for or get our money back ASAP.

Update (6/17): we heard from Cushie last Thursday and they committed to sending it to us in 1-3 business days. It has been 4 business days. No tracking info, no couch, and no one from Cushie reaching out to tell us the new status. They don’t prioritize customer service and they don’t fulfill their promises to customers. Will update if we ever get this couch.

Update (6/25): Customer service can still not give us a timeline of when we will expect the Cushie. They are still promoting the 1-2 business day shipping for the exact product in the exact same color even though it has now officially been 1 month since we ordered our product and they said they can’t ship it to us because it is not in stock (I checked their website again minutes ago). I have asked them to update their website so that they stop misleading customers. They have not done this. This is really the worst customer service experience. On top of that, we ordered the Cushie because we have a major life event coming up and needed it. It is hugely inconvenient. They continue to say they’ll update us and gave us a 10% discount, but that only gets us to the price that we would pay if we ordered today (apparently they’re having a bigger sale than they did on Memorial Day right now), and acting like they’re doing us a huge service. Again, worst experience with a company. I will continue to update since they continue to mislead customers.

Cute and comfy!

I pre-ordered the Cushie Sofa Bed and it came well before the tentative delivery date. The bed was very easy to set up and I was very impressed with the quality and price point, we also loved the colour! I have had guests use the sofa as a fold-put bed since I got it and I was told it was very comfortable being a memory foam mattress. We are very happy with the purchase and would recommend Lifely to everyone.

It came missing important screws to put…

It came missing important screws to put the couch together. The ziplock bag where the screws were supposed to be was torn and open.

No Comms, shipment or customer service!

Like Kayla and others I have no response after multiple emails and no system updates on my already delayed order. Will need to dispute. They will respond here and not where it matters like all the other posts. You cannot reply to them and timing of every response identifies that they use offshore resources and have a shell in PA.

No communication, no updates, credit card charged

EDIT UPDATE: They finally emailed me and said the armrests were delayed but offered to send the couch and ottoman first and the armrest when they are in stock. I agreed. Still waiting for the shipment confirmation a few days later. Will update my review from 1 to 3 stars now and possibly more as this plays out.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Placed an order May 30th. Followed up a week later with no response. The email to hello (at) cushiehome.come was RETURNED as *Undeliverable*! (where they said to email with questions and order updates...) They already pulled over $1,000 from my credit card June 1. Went to their website to track order... used their system - said no order associated with that email!! I literally received the order confirmation TO THAT EMAIL ADDRESS. I am super disappointed and was SO looking forward to this order. If I don't hear quickly I will call my credit card company to get this money back. Willing to change my review if they fix this ASAP.

Sofa bed

Super happy with how fast i recieved my sofa, the quality is so good and the sofa bed is super comfortable. Very happy with my purchase will definitely be repurchasing more things in the future. Customer service 10/10

The best sofa bed ever!

The delivery process, environmentally friendly packaging & ease of set-up were amazing! The quality of the innerspring mattress is exceptional and the couch is a perfect fit for my guest room / study. I also love the colour.

I love my cushie sofa bed

I love my cushie sofa bed. It is so versatile as a bed and couch. Perfect for sleep overs and a spare bed for guests. Then great as a couch in the games room. Not saggy firm and very structurally sound.

Very disappointing experience overall.


The product was shown as available at the time of ordering, but there were later delays and stock-related issues communicated after purchase. This led to longer-than-expected wait times and unclear updates around fulfilment.

When the item eventually arrived, it was incomplete and could not be assembled properly, making it unusable as intended.

Overall, there were issues with stock accuracy, delivery delays, and order fulfilment. I hope improvements are made in availability information, communication, and quality control.

Very comfortable

Very comfortable as a bed and kids fight over it as the movie watching seat. I like the sage green fabric and it’s super easy to transform. No issues with order or delivery.

Watch Out - don't purchase UNTIL you can reach them.

Again, zero communication. Zero responses.

Ordered the last week of May. The email said it would ship in 1-2 days. It's June 5th. No Cushie. No contact. No updates. And, no idea what is going on.

Beware. There is a very good, responsive competitor - had I known they were going to approach business line this, I would have done business with their competition.

Order at your own risk

As others have mentioned, there is zero communication from this company. I placed an order on May 22 with a ship date of May 28 and it is now June 4 with ZERO updates, despite multiple emails being sent. I’m only writing this review because it seems like occasionally someone from Cushie looks at this site.

If you are from Cushie, please give a response to let me know where my couch is or I will be contesting the order with my credit card company!

Update: company finally responded. Wish it didn’t take a bad review to get an answer. Can’t speak to the product yet but strongly recommend they add some more customer service staff

It’s pretty firm but supportive for those who like a couch like that

Could use a good topper and better cushion padding but other than that it’s great material and a lovely looking couch. Weird fabric color for the brown/tan color option though. Reminds me of a cat tree scratch pole

Needs to improve their customer service

I ordered a couch on May 9, 2926 with a delivery date of May 14. May 14 came and went and after multiple e-mails I was told there were shipping delays and it would ship 5/28. That has now come and gone and I sent several more e-mails only to be told they can't find my order in their system and to send the confirmation number which was in the subject line e of my e-mail! I took a picture of my confirmation and sent it with no reply.

Their website says they are in stock so I'm not sure what the hold up is. It has been very frustrating and poor customer service. I guess I will have to contact the credit card company to put in a dispute. As others have stated, there is no phone number to call to get answers.

Update : I just received my couch after several weeks of chasing. Leven was responsive and helped expedite my delivery. The couch is great - I just didn't think I'd have to work so hard to get information.

Final update - I received the credit I was offered for my inconvenience. Everything resolved in the end.

The sofa cushion is firm in the center…

The sofa cushion is firm in the center but you sink on either side. The arm rest on one side of the sofa is loose between the bar and the seat cushion. It’s a bit flimsy, should be taut like the other side.

We are not off to a good start

We are not off to a good start. I was hoping this email was a response to my email to customer service. Please reference that email.
Delivery went to my neighbor's house. It was dropped on their driveway in the pouring rain.

I received it today

The boxes didn't come together and the bad back support

The boxes didn't come together. So, now I don't have the side hand rest and the metal frames.

Also the back support of the product is really bad. Like if I lean back a little, it is not staying.

They should have given an option to add brackets on the back as well to make it more sturdy.
