What can I say? Well, a few things actually.
First off the bat, the Cruz 73 Retro is hands down the best bike I've ever ridden/owned. (And I've had a few)
I tried several cruiser style ebikes over the last year after trying a friend's Voodoo Chopster, which I loved and was the best out of the 6 or so I tried.
I saw the Cruz 73 Retro while online searching and couldn't find one bad review. It looked exactly what I wanted so I planned to access the cycle to work scheme and make use of the January sale and a damaged box which, adding the saving though the tax break due to lower wages (research cycle to work scheme to find out more)
made it affordable for me.
John from Cruz was there every step of the way with great advice and a few calming words when needed. I was worried about my size vs the bike's size. John assured me it would be perfect and he was right. In fact, I couldn't have asked for better, especially as I hadn't ridden one before committing.
And it all went without a hitch. 20/10 for customer service.
The bike arrived 5 days ago.
Delivery company used were highly professional. Packaged brilliantly. Easy to put together, took about 30 mins.The tool that came with it was the best little bike tool I've seen and I've got 3! And not one building injury! Winner! ( I'm 52 years old so no spring chicken lol)
I've not used my car since. Had a week off work so I've been out riding in the day, few hours kip and I've been out on some night rides. The head light is great, the bike is quiet, strong, very well balanced and the seat is so comfy you can ride all day ( and night).It rained cats and dogs on one of the nights but I felt completely safe on the road. The bike has a very strong road presence.
I come from the 3-4k, full Fox suspension,hand made Easton wheels,Marin, off road cross country/freeride madness brigade. Due to circumstances (life always gets in the way) I needed to change it up and for me, the Cruz 73 Retro works like a dream.
If you're looking for a different ride to the traditional bicycle style or just wanna get back into enjoying riding again and look/feel uber rad while doing it, then this maybe be the bike for you and Cruz Bikes LTD UK were definalty a pleasure to deal with.

I love the bike, bit flimsy in places but what do you expect for £2000. Purchasing was easy enough if not for an almost 2 month delay with shipping.

I've left the review this long as I've been waiting for a response from Humar by email. Last email I had from him was 07.11.23 and he said he said he would contact me the next day. I've emailed again since but nothing.

Very helpful staff who answered every email quickly.
Ordered the mariner special edition and wow super impressed!
Excellent build quality, looks amazing its a real head Turner and a very capable Ebike!
Delivery was 3 days and came packaged well.
Few bits to fix together but nothing complicated and took half a hour tops!
Would definitely use cruz bikes in the future!

Fantastic bike, with an amazing support team behind it! Use the bike for my daily commute and it has not let me down. I look forward to more great things from Cruz 73!

I purchased the Cruz73 Unlimited. I've had it for around 2-3 weeks now and can honestly say, for the money, its a bargain!
The Cruz73 Unlimited is solidly built and well put together.
The front light is big and bright and LED to save battery power.
The seat is big and comfortable and you can carry a passenger with ease (the weight limit for the bike is around 180kg according to Cruz) and additionally comes with footrests fitted for passengers.
A decent bright rear light is also integrated, which not many ebikes have.
It uses standard Julet (Juliet) waterproof connectors, so should you want/need to mod or repair it, it is easy to disconnect/connect things you might need to.
It has a 750W Bafang motor which has some good torque on a thumb throttle and has taken me (weighing around 115kg) to 27+mph (43kph). 32.5mph is the max theoretical with no load on the wheel as tested by me.
The front suspension actually works really well and absorbs the odd pothole. It works really well on grass and gravel and makes the ride comfortable.
I had need to call them a couple of times, just to check on details before I ordered and also to check on my scheduled delivery. The man who answered each time was courteous, professional, patient and polite.
Seriously, I know I sound like a walking advert for them, but I believe that good customer service and a great product should be recognized.

Seriously, if there are any downsides there is only one I can think of and that is the battery is the old 4 pin connector, not the more recent 5 pin which are easier to get hold of. However, the batteries are branded Haillong, so not cheap and nasty and likely to start a fire! Arguably, the parts fitted on the bike, except the Nutt brakes, are not branded which would attract a more premium price, but the parts that are fitted seem well made, work well and get the job done.

Very pleased with my purchase. Great quality bike and perfect size for myself (I’m 6ft). Customer service were extremely helpful and cannot recommend this company enough.

The bike arrived with the thumb throttle snapped off, however this is the only fault. I have a super 73 zg and im not happy with it so i decided to get the cruz bike and let me tell you, its cheaper, stronger, it has many features the super 73 does not come with, the seat is a joy to sit on, its sexy, very comfortable ride and over all the best purchase i have ever made in my life I highly recommend to everyone and would definitely say choose cruz over super 73 unless you have 5-7 grand to spare on the super 73 that has the same features as the cruz and prefer ugly bikes get the super 73 but if you are like me get the cruz it's amazing!

Purchased the Cruz 73 unlimited bike as a present for my partner who is 6ft 4, bike is the perfect size for him and is very comfortable to ride. No issues with the bike and USB port is such a brilliant idea as have found this very useful. Highly recommend.

Such an amazing E bike for the money having done lots of research the bike is right up there on spec and US brands with same spec cost between £2500 - £3K! So easy to assemble as pretty much comes complete. Looks the bee’s knees and rides very well lots of friends want one having seen mine! You won’t regret it such a good way to get around locally and have fun off-road all environmental friendly👍

This bike looks better in person I find bikes uncomfortable but the seat is really good.
I have only done 4 Miles just to test everything works ok which everything did and was the easiest 4 miles I have ever done on a bike.
It took me 45 minutes to put the bike together most of it was taking the packaging off there was so much packaging.
The customer service was the best I have had in a long time I asked so many questions before purchasing and they awnsered back every time and delivery was next day for free

Hands down best purchase I’ve bought in a long time . Bye to the long journeys to work in morning . Fantastic machine! Highly recommended👍

False advertising, dangerous product.

The bike is advertised shown fully assembled. In reality the bike is in many parts that require you to put together yourself and took many hours as there was insufficient or actually no manual content on how to do each of these parts. Multiple parts of the bike were broken when it arrived and I was expected to fix the bike myself at my own financial and time cost and purchase my own tools to do so. I injured my back during this process after following the sellers instructions to fix the damage parts myself. They are also playing off the Cruz brand in USA but have no affiliation which I do not like, which is misleading to the consumer as I first thought they were affiliated with this presumably higher quality company. AVOID.
