Great service from Crumpler. Had one of their bags for many years and broke the strap adjuster. Bag had worked great. Enquired whether it could be fixed. Immediate and polite response. Spare part sent immediately with full instructions. Crumpler products and service highly recommend. Thanks

Great delivery and nice clean bag
Great delivery and nice clean bag. Liked the simplicity of it all. I prefer a minimalist style and the fewer pockets the better. I’d prefer the laptop sleeve to have a bit more padding or higher density foam but it’s padded and I probably won’t put a laptop in it anyway. It’s light and well made.

Have a Dinky Di and managed to snap the third leg buckle in the door of a bus.
Crumpler sent out a replacement next day free of charge.

Crumpler certainly keeps its promises…
Crumpler certainly keeps its promises regarding the after sales support for its products. During one of the busiest times of the year they found a replacement 'zip pull' for my camera bag (and sent it free of charge from Germany).
So nice to find a company that cares.

Don't buy online - poor, non-existent customer services
They make wonderful kit - I have several of their bags bought through retailers - The bag I wanted this time wasn't available elsewhere so I bought it directly. The process was horrible.
The web site said VAT etc was included in the purchase cost.
The order confirmation said both that it would ship with DHL, AND that 20% EXTRA CUSTOMS CHARGES plus a handling fee of 15 GBP from Parcelforce will apply when parcel is received.
I very nearly cancelled the order, but it's a Christmas gift, so I just accepted that I may have to pay the extra and just suck it up.
I have the bag - it was delivered and I did not have to pay ParcelFarce, or anyone else any extra, but I had visions of my £189.80 bag costing me £242.76!
I emailed Crumpler 23/10/22 pointing this out and querying it - it is now 21/11/22 and I still have not had a reply.
UPDATE- 21/12/22 and still had no response….

Misleading Delivery Times
The UK site says 2-4 days delivery. It is not, we ordered with a week to go until a birthday and we're still waiting 10+ days since order. The bag is in transit somewhere, but given they ship from Germany - no chance of that delivery time.
I raised it with customer service, and they just shrugged and said 'it's on the way'. I just HOPE the bag is good. Otherwise it will be a zero star from us.

Your bag has arrived safely with you. We understand the disappointment you may feel because of late deliveries. However, we can assure you that an average delivery from our German warehouse to the UK takes 3 days with DHL as our partner. This is confirmed by many satisfied customers who are very pleased with our fast delivery from Germany.
Sometimes custom procedures take longer than expected and transportation errors simply occur. We would really like to avoid them, but they are unfortunately beyond our control.

Typical Crumpler quality, service and value
This was just a strap pad but the best strap pad.
Crumpler make, in my opinion, the very best bags especially for cameras. They're superbly made, quite a funky design and up to the task long term.
You can pay a lot more, no need, their products are right up there.

Good service.
Ordering was easy and good communications inspired confidence. Shipping from Germany was swift and efficient … but slow once it arrived in the UK! I was pleased with the bag and am enjoying using it.

The website doesn’t have dimensions of…
The website doesn’t have dimensions of the product and so I ordered what I thought was a camera case of the right size only to find it’s too small. I’ll now have to return it for a refund as bought for a holiday to South Africa and had to buy a replacement there.

Recently bought the dinky di messenger and I love it. It’s perfect for carrying my 12.8 inch iPad and notebook and pens etc. this is my 3rd crumpled bag not because any have broken or failed but because I have different sizes and uses. Every single bag is very well made

Good bag
Good bag, easily takes my Fuji XT30 ll and 16-80 zoom with room to spare. When bag is closed the top closure area at both sides doesn’t fall neatly into place, looking like a badly designed afterthought.

However, we clearly state on our website that we ship from Germany to the UK and that fees may be involved when buying over a certain amount due to the Brexit.
