We bought one of the display summerhouses from Crane’s after visiting their site. Unsure of the area we had chosen to place the summerhouse we asked for a site visit. After discussions we opted for the steel structure upon which to erect the summerhouse. The lead time was still quite a number of weeks to wait.
The steel structure was erected day 1 of the build, this worked well. Day 2, two guys were excellent and worked hard starting the construction of the building. Day 3 the electrician came along as well to install the electrical package we purchased. As he left he told us it was ready to be connected to the mains. This was a total surprise to us as no time during our many discussions with customer care or the sales team were we informed we had to get our own electrician to connect it. There maybe mention in the t&c but I expected something like that to be specifically pointed out. As the construction guys left they said they would bring us more paint to touch up the wood due to it being a display unit, as yet not received.
No one from customer care has contacted us. I completed a satisfaction form from Crane’s stating our disappointment but have heard nothing.

The salesman/ adviser was a really helpful and knowledgeable man.
He took the trouble to do a survey of my garden to help me decide where to place the summerhouse that I had chosen.
I have now ordered this and have added several extras to personalise it.

The salesperson was really helpful, made sure I was totally happy with what I was buying, and did layouts for me to see different options, I felt there was no rush

From beginning the process of building our own requirements on the website, various quotes were given depending upon our modifications, the team at Crane were always helpful and communicative. It took me a while to decide upon the final specifications, but again the staff were very supportive. No hard sell or pressure. Joe Selby came to do a site visit and was most pleasant, giving good advice which was really helpful.
We roughly know when our building will be ready.
Several times, we visited the Narford site just to make sure that the model, material and colours etc. are what we wanted and found the displays there amazing.
21 years ago we purchased our first ( and only) Crane summer house from Dersingham. We’ve used it constantly since then and have maintained it very well, but we think it’s now time for a new one, a little bit bigger this time.
We are very much looking forward to another 21 years of enjoyment!

I am not easily impressed by customer service these days. Frankly many companies in the UK are poor at it and at best pay lip-service to it, but Crane Garden Buildings are a class-act who consistently provide attentive professional service at every stage of the process. I needed a large custom design and sized shed to fit on a constricted site and to comply with permitted development requirements. I made my own measurements and scale drawing (old school - on graph paper!) and took it to them. The sales designer took it and facilitated it into reality, professionally offering solutions to meet my needs, not finding problems. He showed me their display buildings and having seen many a cheap, poorly constructed shed in my time I was blown away by the high quality of materials and construction. Placing an order with them was then a no-bariner. Further into the process their telephone helpline was consistently helpful and clearly knew their stuff. Their installers were equally attentive and helpful. They worked extremely hard with a tight site on a long day in sweltering heat. To be blunt, they are expensive, but high quality products and service cost, and ultimately I got exactly what I wanted and a very good experience. Therefore worth every penny. If only other companies were as good.

The shed from Crane Garden Buildings is solid and robust and should last many years. We ordered after visiting the showroom and received excellent customer support and updates throughout the process. We had to delay our initial installation date as we were away but this was not a problem for them.

I had the displeasure of walking into their site at Notcutts in Tunbridge Wells. Despite spending excess of 3 years in multiple conflict zones I have never been made to feel less welcome. Not sure who manages their customer service training but lady at this particular location needs a refresher course.

Having reviewed what we were interested in before going, we met Jessica who was informative and efficiently answered all our questions which helped us to determine what we needed.

Staff were very helpful and attentive and reponsive on the show site and on the internet site.
The tools to specify our requirements were easy to use.
