Huge thank you to Craig for fitting my son in at short notice today.
He had a bad haircut last week and was feeling really unhappy with how it looked — but after seeing Craig, he’s come away feeling so much better.

Not only did Craig take the time to fix it properly, but he also made my son feel comfortable and at ease. He really got on with him, and now he’s walking away happy, confident, and ready to go to school again with a smile.

Can’t thank you enough — truly appreciate it!

Craig was absolutely amazing with my son Mikaeel. It was our first visit and I am beyond impressed. With Mikaeel having autism, haircuts can feel like such a chore but we had the whole appointment without a single tear. Craig is caring, competent and an absolute asset for parents like myself who have challenging children. Can't wait to come back again. Thank you for putting your heart into the work you do!!

I bought my son Albie today after having some very traumatic appointments elsewhere. I stopped taking him as was upsetting for me just as much as was for him. I came across one of Craig’s videos on socials and decided to try him out. My son was unsure at first but did really well. I loved how Craig got down on his level to talk to him and was so calm and friendly. He even used the scissors on himself to show Albie its not scary. Albie played away with the toys while Craig took his time explaining what he was doing and cut his hair. I’m So amazed at how well Albie did. He did not even cry which is a first! Thank you so much Craig. We are looking forward to our next appointments

We took our autistic, non verbal little boy for a haircut and the results were a dream come true. We really didn’t expect a successful result as we used to cut his hair at home and he would get so distressed as he hates the scissors so much. Craig is a miracle worker. We can’t believe it. He is so patient and efficient, especially as our boy does not sit still. Our little boy had a perfect haircut within 20 mins. We have booked in for the next one already. Thank you so much Craig

Took my 4 year old who had speech delay today. For a completely new haircut than he’s ever had.
Craig was Brillant. Everything was easy quick and with out any tears or tantrums. Booked my next appointment while we was there. Thank you.

We took my 4 year old non-verbal autistic son here for the first time today as we had heard about it in the newspaper and they have been recommended a lot by other SEN parents. Oscar usually dreads getting his haircut, but this place makes it a lot easier. They have lots of toys for the children to play with and Craig will just let your child do whatever to help them regulate whilst making the hair cutting process fun and interactive for the child. Amazing, friendly service and the place is clean. You don't get much more inclusive than this place and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Took my three year old boy to Craig after a couple of previous disastrous hair appointments elsewhere. My son was completely overwhelmed - crying, screaming, sweating, nearly being sick and just all round very stressed. This led to him being very upset every time a haircut was mentioned and therefore we avoided for a long while. I found Craig online and thought it was worth a try and I could cry with joy at how much of a positive experience we had! My little boy loved playing with all the different toys and was totally distracted with these whilst Craig cut his hair as he wandered around the room playing. Craig was great with him and super adaptable and put both myself and son at ease. His hair was done in record time and he didn’t actually want to leave in the end as he was enjoying playing too much! Couldn’t be happier, thank you so so much

Can’t thank Craig enough for my ASD son’s first appointment, he’s only 3 and we struggled cutting his hair for a while now until we found Craig, he settled our son in sooo easy, followed him around made him feel comfortable in his surroundings I didn’t even think craig would be able to get a comb to his hair never mind actually cut it! So impressed, we’re already booked back in! Very excited for my son’s hair journey now Thankyou again! You’re the best!

I cannot quite believe how amazing Craig is!! He made us feel so relaxed and treated Atlas like the only child in the world! He was so patient and calm with him, he let him be himself and cut his hair around him. We came out absolutely mind blow and made up with Atlas's beautiful new hair cut. Once we'd left Atlas even said he wanted to go back in!

Would 100% recommend craig he is so patient and made my son feel so comfortable with having his hair cut Will definitely be going back again.

Craig gave our 2yo son an excellent cut, we have tried and failed many hairdressers/barbers before here as our son has been terrified of having his haircut until now. Today we walked into the shop for the first time, our son was engrossed in the toys provided and Craig cut his hair quickly and beautifully whilst he played - I couldn’t quite believe it! We also left with some great advice for our next appointments - would definitely recommend, thank you!

Went again to Craig's Barbers for my Buzz cut with Scott..... 5 star service as usual..... this place is absolutely awesome ..... highly recommend 🌟 🤩

Would highly recommend Craig he made my son feel really comfortable and worked round him and got the job done in no time compared to other places I've been will definitely be returning in the future.

Craig was great with my little boy who’s autistic and non verbal. Haircuts before have been quite traumatic for him. It made such a difference to have someone who understood and worked around his needs.

Couldn’t thank you enough, my son has thick curly hair and has been so scared of the barbers. But when we arrived we had the most calming experience. Very patient and followed rauri around well chopping away. Even saved all the curls for our keepsake. Could not recommend enough. Thank you ever so much see you again soon.

I was so nervous about my 3 year old little boys first haircut but I really didn't need to be!

Craig let Louis jump straight in to his play area. He asked Louis's permission to touch his hair and even warned him of the first snip! After that Louis didn't even know craig was doing his magic because he allowed him to carrying on playing. Louis was so sad to leave and he can't wait to see craig for his next appointment!

If you're looking for a non judgemental, kind and gentle barber then Craigs barber shop is definitely the place to go. I love how he let's the children lead rather than sitting in a big scary barber chair!

Craig was so welcoming with both me and my son had patience and let Sonny play which managed to put Sonny at ease as he gets easily overwhelmed we have only just left and booked back in as there’s no one else we’ll let touch sonny’s hair

Craig was fabulous and so patient with my son who hates haircuts. He did everything on Harry's terms, took his time, tried to make it fun and just followed Harry's lead. How he cuts hair on the move I'll never know! Thanks so much x

I came to Craig after having an awful haircut somewhere else. Craig immediately put me at ease and did an amazing job of getting my hair exactly how I wanted it. I’m so relieved to have the haircut I originally wanted. Craig was so friendly and understanding. I usually struggle getting my hair cut because of my autism and anxiety but I felt very comfortable throughout with Craig.
