Just graduated and had a life-changing experience. This course is not only incredibly interesting because of the knowledge you acquire about our brain and how we function but it also gradually pushes you outside your comfort zone with the well-structured modules. By the time you graduate, you will have gained the confidence to start your own business.
Brian, Sian and Lisa were great and inspiring lecturers and experienced hypnotherapists. Would definitely recommend if you want to help people make lasting positive changes.

Had an excellent experience completing this course in Belfast. The lecturers were fantastic and could not have supported us any more. They encouraged us every step of the way and we had so many opportunities to work within our lecture group which allowed us to develop great peer support as well.

I have recently qualified as a Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist through CPHT and have thoroughly enjoyed the last 10 months.

The training strikes a great balance between encouraging and challenging you to step outside your comfort zone and grow in confidence. Working with real clients from the outset meant I was able to gradually develop my skills in a safe environment. My course trainer was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable and had boundless energy throughout every module. I've come away from every module feeling motivated, inspired and excited to put what I'd learnt into practice.

One of the highlights of the course has been my cohort. We all come from different backgrounds and life experiences, but we've built genuine friendships and have been there to support and encourage one another throughout the course.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the CPHT training course.

We have just completed the Diploma in SFH course 2025/26 in Belfast (BF10).. What a fantastic learning experience provided by two dedicated personable and knowledgeable tutors who are also established practitoners. Material was delivered very professionally and practical work was regularly integrated. The atmosphere they created built a strong collaborative student group in which we could discuss and challenge issues as well as share and receive supervision. This made us feel professional right from the outset (even those of us who began more unsure/cynical) and allowed each person to grow in confidence and knowledge to become safe, effective ethical practitioners working across a range of clients.Basically the course scaffolded us and with the tutors' warmth and expertise we all were guided along the way to graduation.Most if not every single one were motivated to complete their HPD portfolio as well- one portfolio submitted and many others nearing completion. I have no criticism and I am sure there will be many other glowing independent reviews by other group members

I have just graduated from CPHT Bristol and felt motivated to review the programme as it went far beyond my expectations.

The course is set up in such a way that you are taught theory, techniques and practical business skills to ensure that you have all that you need to be able to set up in practice from the minute you are handed your diploma.

The lecturers were really outstanding - our course leader (Sian) had boundless energy, deep expertise and was generous to a fault with her support and encouragement. Guest lecturers (notably Brian and Lydia) kept things fresh and brought different perspectives and expertise, so that we developed a really comprehensive understanding of how to apply the techniques and approach in a wide range of contexts.

The workload on the course is very manageable, although it was significantly more than I had expected from the conversations I had had prior to the start of the programme. It is definitely a commitment in time, energy and focus, but it offers more value as result. Like most things, the more you can prioritise the learning, the more you get out of it.

Our small group of 9 students has formed a close and supportive bond over the past 10 months that I am sure will continue as we build practices as Solution-Focused Hypnotherapists.

My only regret is not doing the course sooner. I am so proud to be able to call myself a Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist, and can't wait till I can join a CPD session for more input!

Just graduated yesterday and about to start the next chapter of my life. This course has given me so much confidence and has allowed me to set up my own practice and have paying clients straight away. If you are interested in making a difference this is the course for you.!!!!

Terribly structured course. Teachers suck all the fun out of learning by insisting on no questions being asked and teaching the course in such a way as to confuse and disorient students. I managed three months of this course and never left a weekend without feeling demoralised, anxious and stressed. I have asked for a refund having paid in full upfront (don’t do this is my advice) and surprisingly at present they’re refusing to give me a refund. I am considering legal action. Another problem with this company is they’re very amiable and reachable when they want payment but getting to talk to anyone at Head Office when there’s a problem is a long drawn out affair only conducted by email? Personally I think this company over subscribe their courses in the hope/knowledge people will drop out and they can then keep the course fees. They’ll tell you that hundreds of people have successfully completed the course; they won’t tell you how many haven’t. I would assume a lot given I wasn’t the only person with the same misgivings on my particular course. I have a strange feeling, given the way Head Office is so inaccessible and unwilling to talk to anyone, that this is a bit of a shister company. Don’t book a course with these people is my advice. It’s unfortunately unnecessarily complex and they won’t refund you even the face of family illness, which is my position at present. Terrible experience, terribly taught, terribly structured and terribly uncommunicative in the face of personal issues that have left me unable to continue. Avoid at all costs.

The training is supportive, in depth and highly inspiring. I would recommend to anyone looking to change career or add additional skills to existing therapy qualifications.

This course is just brilliant. Its a life changer. 1 weekend per month for 10 months at a venue whichever is local to you, where you will make new friends, learn about Solution Focused Hypnotherapy, the brain and psychotherapy. Great Tutors, Chester in particularly, my life changed from the day I signed up. I never imagined I could be a therapist and help people but it is my calling .10 months flew by. CPHT really are fab.

This was the most amazing course I have ever completed and I have completed a lot. Everything about the course was amazing. I always looked forward to the course every month. It was fun, interesting and interactive. The tutors were exceptional, they were always there and if you had a question, they replied swiftly. The idea of seeing clients from the first week was daunting but it was great to get the experience, because now I'm qualified and I have the confidence to continue to see clients and the tutors were always there if you needed support for the sessions. I couldn't recommend this course enough and if you have a calling to help people I would advise you to apply for this course.

Undertaking the Hypnotherapy diploma course last year was one of the best decisions I've ever made - it was truly life changing! The standard of teaching was second-to-none and was made enjoyable and fun as well as educational by the brilliant teaching team. I have learned so much and am now helping people get the best out of themselves and life in general with Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

Excellent, well structured month on month learnings, clear precise explanations moving forward through the course, plenty of practical classroom based work, revision and repetition of SFH coursework, encouragement to work with clients on an ongoing basis from start to completion.

The venues are well-chosen with consideration given to optimal learning. The interviews for enrolling are informal and yet professionally conducted. Lecturers are extremely knowledgeable and come with relatable working backgrounds. They are all supportive and attentive to students needs and genuinely fun, self aware and passionate hypnotherapists.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and am keen to chose more ways to learn and develop my practice through CPD within the CPHT 'family'

Curious and progressive experiential learning has suited me, being dyslexic ( and is definitely inclusive for neurodiverse potentials) and the variety and thought that is given to the proportion of groupwork and notes or audio visual resources is really well balanced.

Whilst students are expected to dive in with the hypnotism you are held well and every aspect of self employment or the best way you plan to practice is facilitated. Marketing considerations and setting up your business are incorporated into the learning throughout the modules.

If you are committed to helping people reach their potential, I say, do it, as it WILL change your life !
So much can be achieved in 10 mths

This course provides all the tools necessary to be able to practice Solutions Focused Hypnotherapy with clients. It covers the neuroscience, the practice of hypnotherapy and the business aspects necessary to setup as a hypnotherapist. This course will teach you some of the most vital skills you've learned in life and give you the ability to teach others. I can't recommend it highly enough. The lecturers are knowledgeable and most importantly approachable and supportive.

I throughly enjoyed my training with CPHT. The course covered everything I needed to get me ready to start my business. The lecturers were brilliant and had so much knowledge. I had to miss a weekend at my regular centre due to having Covid and it was so easy to switch to another weekend and venue. Although in its early stages my business is going well! Thank you so much CPHT I definitely chose the gold standard in hypnotherapy training. Just working my way through all the CPDs now!

Hypnotherapy is my second career having spent many years in the NHS. I count myself lucky to have trained with CPHT in Peterborough. Excellent lecturers, extensive learning material and resources, plenty of support, and my fellow students were a great bunch. I really appreciated the monthly face to face sessions which gave us the opportunity to meet up and work together. This was also invaluable from a supervision perspective when we began to see our own clients. We learnt so much from one another. In my naivety I didn't realise that it is possible to gain a hypnotherapy qualification without actually seeing your own volunteer clients throughout your training! Watching clients progress gave me the confidence to believe that I would be a competent and successful practitioner once qualified. It seems that my clients agree. So thank you CPHT, why would you choose anywhere else?
