Defective product & assembly…

Defective product & assembly instruction. Completely un-usable wing chair from Cozymatic because it can not be assembled ! Drill holes and parts provided don't even match. In addition, very poor quality for the price. I tried to and so far unable to return it for a refund ! Its a scam :(

GREAT ITEMS BUT NIGHTMARE DELIVERY

We bought the Rafael tv cabinet and coffee table - both items are beautiful and seem to be of excellent quality - we are VERY happy with the items. The only negative was the delivery process. They only offer curbside delivery, which means if you’re not home (we weren’t) then the items are left outside of where you live - in our case outside our apartment building. Both items came fully assembled (yay!) but encased in wood (boo!) which took me over 2 hours to remove and scratched my new wooden floorboards. The delivery for items like this should be brought inside by the driver and the wooden casing removed. This should not be up to the customer. I wouldn’t buy from them again because of this delivery process BUT the items are beautiful and were not damaged in the journey from China

I purchased 2 tables from Cozymatic on…

I purchased 2 tables from Cozymatic on 7th October. Cost me $750 and still have not arrived. Today they told me it will be another 2 weeks. I no longer believe anything will arrive. They are scammers. Avoid this company, the reason they have no warehouse in Australia is so they are not governed by Australian law. They are governed by no laws.

Cozymatic Australia is simply a scam

Cozymatic Australia is simply a scam. Never ever ever ever purchase anything from them.
I purchase 6 out door stools.
I obviously was expecting them to be the same colour.
But they were different colours!!
After sending them photos of proof they offered to replace two of them.
What about the rest.
They offered me $100 voucher.
So I have 3 the same colour and 3 more different colours.
Total cost was$1500
Just don’t buy from them
Complete scammers

Too bad that there is no zero

Too bad that there is no zero. I ordered wood pieces, and what I received was completely different from what was posted online. They refused to return the full amount and are making me pay 20% restocking fee in addition to shipping. They are scamming with good photos to get their restocking fees. I wish I can post photos here but cannot figure it out.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

I am utterly shocked at the quality, experience, and customer service of cozymatic. Do not make the same mistake I did -- DO NOT order from this company. In response to my $1,500 order, which arrived heavily damaged (not to mention, took over 2.5 months to arrive), they have repeatedly tried to "offer" me a discount of $90. It is extremely maddening. Do not bring yourself this level of stress for this awful furniture.

Cheap plastic coating

Ordered a 6 seater dining table from this site which was claimed to be "solid wood". Within weeks of use, the table top developed ugly white scratches on its surface in what appears to be a plastic coating that was not advertised. The table is now unsightly and is unfit for purpose. I will not order from Cozymatic again

This has been the worst experience…

This has been the worst experience ever. It took over a month to receive the base of my table and the table top NEVER arrived. The base of the table is smashed and the bottom is falling off due to it being smashed. They do not package their products to withstand shipping overseas. I notified them and they said that the table was still usable and that I could fix it myself and they would give me a 20% store credit. I did not spend close to $1000 for a damaged table without a top! I will never order from this site again. I wish I could post pictures of the box and table because it’s unbelievable. Customer service keeps giving me the run around with no specific answers. I eventually had to dispute the charge with my cc company.

Premium Quality, Worth the Wait!

Cozymatic's items are truly in a league of their own! From design to craftsmanship to the quality of materials, they surpassed all my expectations. Yes, it took a little while for the items to arrive in batches, but trust me, the wait was absolutely worthwhile. Throughout the waiting period, their responsive reassurances on the delivery dates kept my spirits high. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

Do not order from this site

Do not order from this site! I paid over 600 for a vanity table I did not receive. Then they tried to offer $10 as a refund. I'm working with PayPal to get my refund through a claim but they have been absolutely awful. Slow shipping too even though I paid for express shipping.

A horrible experience

A horrible experience; items purchased did not match the color of wood that was advertised, and it was not clear that the products would take 3.5 months to arrive after ordering. After following the directions to initiate a return and after the initial exchange, I have not heard a thing about a refund even though it has been far longer than the alotted time for the return/refund to be complete, despite two attempts to follow up. I am now highly skeptical I will receive any refund whatsoever. I would highly recommend NOT purchasing anything from this scam of a company. I am out $600 so at least learn from my experience.

Sadly I did not see this page before I bought a sofa table for $409 :/. Minutes after ordering I saw it was coming from China and would be 10-12 weeks. Also it was not readily disclosed that if you used a credit card there is an extra fee through Sezzle. I emailed and messaged them minutes after ordering and no reply yet. I have to wait until the pending charge is posted to dispute it … for misleading advertising and many details not disclosed upfront.

Bad product quality

Bad product quality - don’t buy!!

We ordered two ~$620 bar stools. It came with a large defect (bubbles on the seat area) that can't be fixed. Terrible and irritating noise if sitting on those bar chairs…!

Emailed the company who stated that I should try to use my hairdryer to fix and flatten it out…?! I immediately stated, I bought a chair to sit and not trying to fix anything with a hairdryer 🙈. I anyway tried it out without any success. Stool looks scrap and is not usable for us.

Statement from Cozymatic:
… we cannot refund but can give you a 10% store credit… sorry, what…??? I should buy more of this weird quality…?? No thanks 😑😑…!!

After more emails the answer was:
… cozymatic always focus on customers feeling. Despite my and many other experiences here, it’s a simple lie…!! It’s now obviously up to 10% refund and 15% store credit with the argumentation…“the defects can just bring a slight effect on its functional use“… sorry what??? We never discussed any functional issue ever…!!

No replacements.
No refunds.
No respect for customers.

It is a proven terrible bad quality on a high price…!!

Shame on business models like this one!! That’s not Singapore!!!

Worst customer experience in my last 20 years!!

DON‘T SUPPORT AND BUY from a company where many customers had similar experiences, and I got the feeling treated like an idiot.

BUYER BEWARE
Do not buy anything from this company. I bought a small side table from Cozymatic for over US$400, and the table base arrived broken (it was a clean break in the wood). The glass table top was also bigger than the wooden frame it was meant to fit in, and as a result, the glass table top was loose and unstable. The glass basically sits on top at a slanted angle because it doesn't even fit flat in the frame.

I asked to return the table for a full refund, but was offered only a 15% refund at first, followed by 20% and then 30% after many, many more emails. I was also offered a replacement, but I didn't want it because they told me the table was designed like that with a loose glass table top (total BS).

I emailed them about my legal right as a consumer to receive a full refund for unmerchantable goods under the Sale of Goods Ordinance, and they ignored my email completely and insisted I could have a replacement. Why would I want to receive a poor quality replacement product with design defects? I'm entitled under the law to a full refund and I told them so.

This company has the most despicable customer handling I have come across - they simply do not care. They charge you premium prices for cheap furniture, and then treat you as if you've just bought something that's only worth a few dollars (telling you to spray glue to fix a piece of wood that's broken all the way through). Their emails were also rude and infuriating. They refused to acknowledge that the table was broken, and kept referring to the clean break in the wood as a "crack". A crack is a split in the surface of something, without it breaking apart. I was clearly dealing with something broken and unusable. They said to me that this was only a small defect, and that if I were to return it for a refund it would be considered "a change of mind" for which I would be liable to pay a 20% handling fee. No company being reasonable and treating customers sincerely would regard a completely broken and wobbly table base, and loose and wobbly table top as a small defect for which the customer should be out of pocket for returning. It's just unbelievable.

Do yourself a favour and do not buy anything from this company - they do not deserve any customers. I'm preparing to sue them for damages in the Small Claims Tribunal, and report them to the Consumer Council, even if it will cost me more money than I paid for the table, because I believe that a company like this simply should not be allowed to operate.

PS Don't trust the reviews on their official website. I posted a negative but 100% truthful review on their website and it was never published. That's why their overall rating on their official website is currently 4.57, but it's 2.8 here and 1.4 on productreview.com.au.

PPS They are posing as a Hong Kong-based company when my research suggests they are actually Shenzhen-based.

They do not stand by their products

We ordered a ~$900 shoe cabinet on April 30 and received on June 21. It came with a large cracked defect that can't be fixed or pushed in, with the entire cabinet wobbly and unusable.

Emailed the company who stated that I should try to push it back in. When I stated we are unable to do so despite trying, they stated they cannot refund despite the product being unusable and can give us a 20% cash credit or a 30% store credit. No replacements. No refunds.

Will dispute with the credit card company, but do not expect any help if any of the products are not correct. Do NOT buy any nice or expensive furniture from this company, they will do nothing to correct their issues when the delivery comes broken.
