Bait-and-Switch Pricing – Very Disappointing Experience
I had a very frustrating experience with this insurance company. At the beginning, they provided me with a quote that included a specific down payment and monthly payment. Based on that information, I agreed to move forward with my renewal.
However, at the end of the day, they suddenly changed both the down payment and the monthly payment to higher amounts without any clear explanation. This feels very misleading and unprofessional. It seems like they lure customers in with one price and then change it once you’re ready to commit.
This kind of behavior destroys trust. Customers deserve transparency and honesty, especially when it comes to financial agreements. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable and straightforward insurance services.
Be very careful before doing business with them.

Raizabel :: I have had the best experience with Covel Whale, thanks to this woman—Raizabel—who assisted me right from the start of my pending cancellation process exactly one month ago today. She helped me understand how to navigate the situation and, most importantly, how to ensure I remained covered. She assisted me throughout the entire policy reinstatement process—helping me with all the paperwork, getting documents signed and submitted, staying in contact with the financing company and my agency, and handling the entire procedure. In short, this woman is a wonderful human being—kind, caring, and an excellent person when it comes to providing service, offering assistance, showing understanding, and helping everyone. I had an urgent situation and I ended up speaking with Tamara 3 times in one day! 2 times they were on call back requests and she was really great. Patient, informative, professional and friendly. Although the process was frustrating she was a ROCKSTAR and helped make it less frustrating. Kudos to her!

I called in for information on a submission we are trying to bind and was connected with Mary Jo. She was not friendly at all and sounded annoyed that I needed assistance. We bind a lot of business with CoverWhale and DO NOT appreciate that tone especially when we are always nice to the reps when we call in.

Ms. Mary Jo is absolutely incredible and extremely helpful. She is 10 out of 5 stars. I cant say enough wonderful things about her. She went above and beyond to help and stayed on the phone with us for over an hour. She deserves a raise, praise and additional PTO!!!!!

I struck gold twice! I had back-to-back 10/10 perfect customer service experiences with the team handling the agency-partners line. We have an new-venture insured that's experiencing the growing-pains of navigating a new trucking business and with the help of Mary-Jo yesterday and Tamra today - we've been able to keep our insured in the policy and offer step by step instructions on how to fix every and any issue that's come up. Obvious competence aside - these representatives were kind, personable, patient, professional, and had a sincere commitment to helping. They didn't just help - they educated.
