I unfortunately received the wrong item in my order, however the issue was dealt with quickly and resolved in a friendly and professional manner. Excellent customer service and I will be a returning customer.

No shipping update or communication 3 weeks later

Very disappointed in the shipping and lack of communication. I haven’t had any tracking numbers provided or confirmation that my order has been sent 3 weeks later. No communication from their team with any update despite sending multiple emails to them. Will most likely not shop with this company again.

Don't waste time or money on this company

If you want to receive your order, do not waste your time with this company. I have been waiting almost 27 days for the product to reach Australia with no updates. The customer service team send insulting emails inferring I did not understand shipping policies. They finally offered 10% discount or full refund then when I requested cancellation and full refund, they conveniently misread my email and only gave me 10% back. I hope this helps others avoid such a scam company.

Been waiting for a month, zero customer sevice

Been waiting for my order for almost a month and counting and still no news. Cannot be reached by phone, calling the number on their site simply hangs up advising to communicate by SMS. No response by SMS either. The same goes via chat. Steer clear of this dodgy online shop. Waste of time, money and patience. Might as well change its name to CosmeticsInMonths given the loooooong wait time.

Simple and easy.

The whole process was easy with good communication and updates. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because delivery was a bit slow but it didn’t matter to me but might to some. So great if you’re not in a hurry, which I had read in reviews so it was expected.

Ordered a product

Ordered a product, never came, its been about three weeks, reached out via help tab on their website got one automated reply asking to verify my email by pressing a link, which is a dead link, feels like they fobbed me off with a dodgy link so they can get away with not giving me my very expensive product.

Awful

Awful. Ordered product on 18th Feb 2026. It’s now 29th MARCH. still nothing.
Only received an update in the Post app that anything was even coming after multiple emails to the website and a PayPal claim. Never ever ever ordering from this crap site again. Still haven’t received my order.

I’m just posting this review because I was going to purchase through them, I checked the reviews and weighed up the good and the bad. There’s quite a few recent bad reviews which I found a bit unnerving but after reading them sometimes I think people can be a little bit harsh and unreasonable and I decided to go ahead with purchasing but when I looked up the item I wanted to purchase I was given two different prices for the same product. It was Shiseido foundation. One for $50.90. and one for $83.95 both exactly the same product so I thought that was a bit suspicious but after the company contacting me to explain they have different suppliers charging different prices I now believe this company is trustworthy as they have been aboveboard with the reason for the price variation. I now feel confident to purchase through them. Communication is so important and they’ve proven themselves in that respect.

You are not wrong about comments being unnerving. Some people make orders and cancel them when they are deep in transit (even in war zones), outside our borders, and then expect us to stop them in mid-air. In terms of multiple offers for the same product, this is theoretically possible as we have many different suppliers, local and international fulfilment etc but we always honour/offer the best deal. Please get in touch and we will guide you on the best offer have available for your region and circumstances. For clarity, Cosmetics Now has been in business since 2011 and we have shipped over one million orders in that time.

I ordered two hair dyes

I ordered two hair dyes, there is no expected delivery date visible so I have absolutely no idea when to expect my order.
I have phoned multiple times - crickets
I have emailed multiple times - crickets
I have no idea whether I have been scammed by this company because they took my money for the product quick smart, but yet cannot be bothered to let their customers know even if the product is on it's way. Extremely disappointed. How do expect to stay in business when you cannot follow up with your customers if I don't receive any acknowledgement of my correspondence soon I too will be requesting a refund, and I'll also be following up with the ACCC.

For clarity, this order was placed on 24 March 2026 and this review was posted on 27 March 2026 — just three days later — while the order remained well within standard delivery timeframes (approximately 2 weeks).

You contacted us on 26 March at 7:41pm, and we responded on 27 March at 8:26pm.

We also offered to resend the product at no cost as a goodwill gesture, and have since issued a full refund at your request.

We understand the desire for updates; however, characterising the situation as a “scam” at such an early stage — before delivery timeframes had elapsed and without allowing reasonable time for a response — does not reflect the full context.

As a small Melbourne-based business, we take customer service seriously and aim to resolve all matters promptly and fairly.

DON’T TRUST this company

I placed an order for a face cream intended as a gift for a friend, and I made sure to order well in advance to allow sufficient delivery time. Unfortunately, it has now been over two weeks, and the item has still not been shipped.

I have attempted to contact your customer service team three times through your website, yet I have not received any response or acknowledgment. The complete lack of communication regarding the delay and the status of my order is extremely disappointing.

Given that the order has not yet been shipped, I would like to request a full refund.

Additionally, I attempted to reset my password and received the reset email immediately, which clearly shows that their system is operational. This makes the absence of any customer support response even more concerning and reflects poorly on their reliability as a brand.

This has been a very frustrating experience, and regrettably, it will be my first and last time ordering from your website. I want my money back!

For clarity, this order is being shipped to Israel, where delivery and processing times can be much longer than domestic orders and may be affected by carrier and customs delays outside our control.

Cosmetics now appalling service

Cosmetics now are horrendous.
I am still still waiting.. it’s been over 6 weeks..!
I ordered perfume mid February and despite over 9 emails to them , only 2 replies WITH NO EXPLANATION and the tracking DOES NOT WORK.
I wrote today 3 times and still no outcome apart from a weird email saying nothing.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM EVER.
I’ve probably lost $123 and that’s that… disgusting..

Tracking confirms that the parcel has been processed through the Auspost carrier network and is currently on its way, with an expected delivery between 30–31 March.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Order Delayed for Over a Month

I placed an order with Cosmetics Now on 9 February 2026 after the website advertised an estimated delivery timeframe of 7–12 days. It has now been over a month, and the item still hasn’t been dispatched.

Since placing the order, I’ve contacted customer support multiple times and have repeatedly been given tentative warehouse arrival dates that keep getting pushed back. First I was told the item would arrive around 6 March, then 13 March, and now apparently 20 March. Each time the date passes, a new estimate is given with no real explanation or confirmed dispatch timeline.

At this point, it feels like I’ve been strung along with rolling estimates rather than being given transparent information about the status of the order. Had I known the item wasn’t actually available to ship within the advertised timeframe, I would never have placed the order.

The website clearly stated a 7–12 day delivery window, which has long passed. I am now considering lodging a complaint with NSW Fair Trading if the item is still not promptly shipped or a full refund provided. This is unacceptable and a very poor first purchase experience with Cosmetics Now.

The shipment containing this item was affected by the temporary closure and disruption at Dubai Airport in February, which delayed inbound cargo to our warehouse. As a result, the expected warehouse arrival dates unfortunately shifted several times while the backlog of flights was being cleared.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS


Wish I had read reviews first. Will never purchase from here again.

Extremely slow delivery. Product page says despatch in 7-15 days, which in itself is ridiculous for processing and handling. But fair enough - my bad for not seeing this disclaimer. But then after querying where my order was, I was told this refers to WORKING days, which is really up to three weeks to despatch (let alone the delivery timeframe). I ordered on 22nd of Feb and as at 13th March (the end of 15 working days) I still haven’t received confirmation that the product has been despatched yet.

EDIT: 30 days after ordering and still not despatched. I had to contact them for an update, nothing communicated to me proactively. After enquiring I was advised it wasn’t even in the country yet. Thankfully they provided a refund (but only on request)

Absolutely horrible experience

Absolutely horrible experience. I ordered a simple brush and more than a month later it still hadn’t arrived. After following up a couple of times and being told that it was “in transit,” the order still hadn’t arrived two weeks later.

I tried calling the company, but the calls simply hang up and refer you to their website. After submitting a written complaint and leaving a negative review on Trustpilot, I was finally contacted and told that the brush had just arrived from Czechoslovakia that morning and would be delivered shortly.

Four days later, I received an email advising that I was being refunded because the brush is now out of stock.

Very disappointing experience. The whole process was extremely frustrating and the communication was inconsistent throughout.
