I've had the pleasure of going on two trips (one to Jordan and another to Turkiye) over the past few months that were arranged by Hugh and Corinthian Travel. Hugh was fantastic helping to organize both trips and come up with itineraries. Their partners in Jordan and Turkiye took great care of our family and we felt like VIPs throughout our trips. I highly recommend them to organize your next unforgettable vacation!

Incredible trip to Egypt organized by Hugh Fraser. It felt tailored to my family's interests and was fascinating and beautiful throughout. Our Guide, Ahmed, was amazing. So knowledgeable and really loved educating us about his country ....everything from history/art/architecture to food and daily life. And it felt totally safe! I know many canceled trips because of the situation in Gaza - I never felt anything but warmth and a great welcome from Egyptians. I couldn't recommend the trip any more! Utterly magical and fun.

Trip to Jordan was well organised ; we had a great local driver (Hassan), for the week who explained everything as we went along without being over-powering or obtrusive. The car was very comfortable, and the hotels we stayed in, were of a very good standard. We enjoyed everything about our trip - particular highlights were the ancient city of Petra and our visit to the desert of Wadi Rum where we were upgraded to the magnificent Palmera camp.

My 10-day trip to Tunisia was well-organised, my preferences and interests were taken into consideration, and the execution was smooth. My driver and guide were knowledgeable and flexible enough to allow for some spontaneous adaptations to the program. All-in-all a very good experience, which will certainly not be my last with Corinthian Travel!

Each leg of the trip was well laid out. The accommodations were excellent and luxurious with wonderful buffets for breakfast. Most of the tourist sites were included in our itinerary. The flavor of each destination was distinctive and showed different aspects of the culture. Our guide was conversive and filled us in with important facts about its people. Everything worked like clockwork and the driver/guide were dependable. This was one of the best trips that I have experienced.

For us, the tour of Tunisia was excellent as it combined archaeology, geography and Tunisian culture and it was made more pleasurable by having Khalil, the guide, and the driver, Mouhanned, who shared with us. the love of their country. They were always smiling, punctual and nothing was too much trouble to make our trip memorable.
The itinerary was well thought-out and cleverly showed us the important and varied aspects of Tunisia, especially the green North and the Desert South. The accommodation was varied and of an excellent standard.
Also, we found Hugh's personalised brochure very helpful as it was well laid out and informative, providing essential information - addresses and phone numbers.
We have really enjoyed the trip and have been impressed with Corinthian Travel and, hope to travel with the company again.

Another 5 stars for another trip arranged by Corinthian. On this occasion Bala put together a wonderful trip discovering Indian Wildlife. The accommodation was superb and we felt very special even though the trip was excellent value for money. Also much appreciated the help we received negotiating the complex process of applying for an Indian Visa.

Our highest praise for Corinthian Travel and Hugh Fraser. Hugh was always available (he may never sleep), clearly an expert in our area of interest, Egypt and Jordan and most importantly eager to incorporate our interests as we worked together to customize our 2-week trip.

The trip was seamless. There was always the right person present. Our flight was delayed leaving San Francisco, causing us to miss our connection. In spite of the hour, our contact was waiting for us in the Cairo Airport, name sign in hand, at 3:00AM. Outside, our driver was ready to whisk us to our hotel. With a private tour, we were able to have real conversations with our drivers and guides, and to be flexible with our schedules. All sites and experiences were perfectly selected, enjoyable and memorable.

Honestly, we wouldn't change a thing. With 2 weeks, we saw and did everything we wanted. And we would absolutely work with Hugh Fraser at Corinthian Travel.
Travelers- we felt so safe and secure. They need you to visit.

We have just returned from a wonderful 12 day trip to Egypt organised by Bala at Corinthian Travel. We were looked after brilliantly from the moment we arrived until our return. Having travelled to Jordan last September (also organised by Bala) we would highly recommend Corinthian and Bala in particular.

After a few years of cancellations due to Covid we finally managed to go away on our trip to India. This was organised by Balaji.
We visited Madhya Pradesh and had an amazing time. Every step of our trip organised by Corinthian worked very well. The hotels were perfect for us, the guides and the transfers were all exceptional.
I was in India for a further 6 weeks after my husband left and made contact with Balaji on several occasions for assistance with hotel bookings. He continued to assist me and ensured I always had a contact number for any emergencies.
I will definitely be using them again and could not recommend them more highly.

We have just returned from our third trip (Egypt) arranged by Hugh at Corinthian. We are happy to recommend him for the personal service he provides as well as the terrific choice of destinations which we would love to tick off one by one. He works with local travel companies and makes sure that the level of service is outstanding. We had drivers, spotless cars, knowledgeable guides and local contact people who are available 24/7. Our hotels were outstanding. Our intineraries have been bespoke, designed to our choice and needs. We felt very pampered. Thank you Hugh!

Bala has been so helpful right from day one, very comprehensive and useful emails and details on the lead up to the trip, always felt he was in easy reach to contact and very efficient too. We really appreciated the effort and thoughtful advice he put in before we left, the day by day breakdowns of our itinerary and the back up of having Corinthian metaphorically travelling with us.

Egypt was astonishing, the people were incredible, we had brains like jelly from trying to take in so much culture and information. Top notch guides and drivers, every aspect of accommodation, cars, people, locations even the food etc exceeded our expectations. Would thoroughly encourage others to visit and Corinthian did a brilliant job of seamlessly joining our full on days together - pyramids, museums, nile cruise, sites, night time and day time trips, hotels, transport, meals out etc we definitely could not have done this without them. In fact if we had tried we wouldn't have seen half the things we did see, wouldn't have learnt so much or covered so much ground. Invaluable. The guides were passionate about their country's treasures and we came away so enthused and engaged by them.

If only Corinthian did the rest of the world! What a wonderful trip thank you.

Corinthian Travel assessed our family's (2 adults, 2 teenagers) requirements for a winter break in Oman, and designed the most brilliant week combining adventure, culture and relaxation. Mixing the culture of the Grand Mosque with the serenity of the wadis, the excitement of swimming with turtles after spending a night in a desert camp set up specially and only for us, not to forget ancient fort exploration and wildlife spotting.

Our guide, Yunis, provided the deepest insights and shared his affection and pride of the country throughout, never tiring as he drove us from place to place. He knew when to engage with us and when to step back and genuinely became a temporary family member. From the minute we landed to the moment of departure we were privileged to absorb the profound experience of Corinthian Travel - on the single occasion when the weather disrupted plans, a revised schedule was proposed and slotted into place seamlessly.
We returned wanting to spend more time in Oman as soon as we can, and don't need to look anywhere else to be sure of the perfect itinerary professionally executed.

Brillant from start to finish. Bala sorted everything, Egypt is an intimidating place but Corinthian took all of the worry out of it. I dont know how we could have managed without. Wonderful time, thank you again!

Unforgettable trip to Southern India. Corinthian Travel put together a great itinerary, the places they found for us to stay were all beautiful, and all the arrangements worked perfectly. Very highly recommended.

My wife and I booked at two-week trip to Egypt through Corinthian for late January/early February 2024. Before the trip, Hugh Fraser took the time to ask questions about our interests and evidently listened to the answers and set up an itinerary that was entirely responsive. We went to Cairo and Giza and toured the pyramid sites at Giza, Saqqara and Dashur, then flew to Aswan and toured Abu Simbel, Philae and other sites, then Luxor (temples and Valley of the Kings, etc.) and returned to Cairo for Islamic and Coptic Cairo sites. There were too many highlights to detail, but - (1) Hugh suggested time on the Nile and suggested a three-night cruise on a dahabiya (look it up, then take one - it is a 6-cabin Nile sailing vessel of the kind used by travelers prior to steam ships). The dahabiya Nora could tie up anyplace along the river, and it did, providing us access to some otherwise practically inaccessible sites; (2) the guides (Eman in Cairo, Heba in Aswan, Mohammed on the dahabiya and George in Luxor) were all very knowledgeable and very friendly - each of them answered all of our questions and each provided time at the various sites for the two of us to take it all in at our own pace; (3) do not think about driving in Egypt, our drivers (especially Mahmoud in Cairo) were calm professionals guiding us through a pandemonium of vehicles; (4) every hotel in which we were booked exceeded expectations, including, but not limited to, the Old Cataract. I enthusiastically recommend Corinthian for travel plan in any destination they handle.

I recently returned from a short tailor made trip to Saudi Arabia that was organized by Corinthian Travel.
Although it was a little tiring, I found the trip extremely rewarding and enjoyable. Everything was very professional and the guides assigned were excellent and good company!
Hugh Fraser of Corinthian Travel had suggested the itinerary for me, and all the sites I visited i.e Jeddah, Medina, Al Ula and Wadi Al Disah met or exceeded my expectations.
Saudi Arabia has begun to open up its Tourist sector and I was looking for luxury tour with an Operator that specialized in the region, and I got it all with Corinthian Travel!!

What an amazing trip! The pyramids, Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel, and all the temples in between (including Dendara and Edfu) were truly awe inspiring! The numbers of visitors was down significantly, so this meant that the sites we visited were not crowded. This was great for us but not so great for the Egyptian tourist trade. May the numbers pick up soon!
Our guides from South Sinai Travel - Tito (Cairo), Ramy (Luxor), and Sam (Aswan) were amazing, knowledgeable, funny, friendly. Our drivers were heroic - navigating the wild traffic in Cairo (is there really not a single traffic light in the city?), calmly driving for 3-4 hours each way through the western desert to Abu Simbel, and patiently driving us to and from our hotel in Luxor, which was a bit out of town! We took the overnight train from Cairo to Luxor, which was great. Thanks to our guide Shady who ensured we found our cabins. My friend and I had adjoining cabins, and although we didn’t sleep much, the journey was comfortable and seamless, and I would definitely recommend it. In terms of the hotels, we found the Marriott in Cairo a bit big and impersonal, Al Moudira in Luxor was absolutely fabulous, and the Movenpick in Aswan, which is situated on an island in the Nile - had spectacular views of the beautiful river.
Hugh Fraser at Corinthian Travel was extremely helpful when we were planning this trip, and his intimate knowledge of this amazing country meant that we were able to fit in everything we wanted (plus some other things we hadn’t thought of). He also encouraged us to factor in some down time. I originally wanted to fill every day with sites, sites, and more sites - but early starts and long days can be exhausting, and who doesn’t like lying around a pool in a luxury hotel in beautiful warm weather. So good call, Hugh!
All in all, this was a fabulous trip. It ran smoothly from start to finish. The people are lovely and friendly, the food very good, and the weather was perfect!
NOTE: The tipping culture is alive and well, so make sure you have plenty of Egyptian pounds.
