Corgi charges premium prices for what turned out to be substandard socks. I wore one pair once and they ripped. This is not even the first time it has happened, so this can no longer be dismissed as a one-off. At these prices, the quality should be far better.

The customer service has been just as disappointing as the product. I emailed to explain the issue and received no response at all. No acknowledgement, no apology, nothing.

Poor product and poor service is a bad combination for any company, but especially for one trading on craftsmanship and British manufacturing. If Corgi is happy to keep producing socks that do not last and then ignore customers who complain, people are right to question whether the brand is worth the money.

Very disappointing, spent approximately £75 on three pairs of woollen socks that, despite initially being very comfortable, are not in the slightest bit durable. One pair of socks wore a hole in after being worn approximately half a dozen times. This has never happened to me before, despite Corgi seeming to blame my feet for this. The other two pairs shrank whilst being hand washed and drip dried. This is the really disappointing part, they seem to have shrunk by approximately two inches and in every direction, meaning they are extremely difficult to now put on and the heel of the sock in not mid arch of my foot. Chris from Corgi seems to think this will return to normal after a few washes, but after three months of trying to stretch the socks back to a comfortable fit, it still hasn’t happened. Company not interested in a return or offering a discount on some new socks l, so save your money, buy British made woollen socks from other suppliers for half the cost. Avoid these cowboys.

Made multiple orders over time and been happy with the product especially the winter / wool items. Summer / cotton items is what keeps the 5 stars away
