The practices of this company are…

The practices of this company are extremely unfair and lack transparency. Their method of assigning shifts is not only cumbersome but also unpredictable. It seems they reserve certain shifts for their regular staff, even when other workers, like myself, possess the necessary skills and qualifications to handle the role. This approach is discriminatory and undermines fair access to work opportunities. I strongly recommend they learn from companies like IndeedFlex, which implement equitable and efficient systems.

Additionally, I was unjustly blocked from their platform for simply raising a valid concern. I was assigned a job only 30 minutes before its start time, despite informing them that it would take me two hours to get there. Instead of addressing this logistical issue or providing support, they penalized me by blocking my access to future opportunities. This action was not only unjust but also a blatant violation of my fundamental rights.

Under the Equality Act 2010, employers and service providers are required to ensure fair and equal treatment in the allocation of work. Reserving shifts for certain workers while excluding others without clear, justifiable reasons may constitute indirect discrimination. Furthermore, the Employment Rights Act 1996 highlights the importance of fair treatment of workers, especially in terms of access to assignments and fair processes for grievances.

Blocking me for exercising my right to communicate a legitimate concern also raises concerns under the Human Rights Act 1998, which protects the right to freedom of expression (Article 10) and the right to not be treated unfairly (Article 14). Penalizing me for an issue beyond my control demonstrates a lack of respect for these principles and undermines the trust workers place in such platforms.

The reason for your account suspension was not due to expressing your concerns but rather the result of failing to attend a shift you had applied for and been hired to complete. We are aware that it can lead to complications when a company accepts an application shortly before the start of a shift. We’re actively looking for ways to improve the Coopler experience in this regard. Please note that all open applications are visible in the app, where you have the option to withdraw them if you are no longer available or interested.

Regarding the allocation of shifts, Coople does not assign them directly. The hiring decision lies with the companies posting the jobs. We take any claims of unfair or discriminatory practices very seriously. If you believe you have experienced such behaviour, we encourage you to contact our support team at info@coople.com, referencing your Trustpilot review so that we can investigate thoroughly.

Egal wo ich mich anmelde für einen Job wird immer abgelehnt, und zwar Monate lang das verstehe ich nicht ganz. Alles im Profil ist vollständig gemacht und trotzdem funktioniert es nicht bin total verwirrt!

Made to feel inadequate and offended

I have extensive experience working across hospitality at senior level. Upon creating my profile they would refuse to ‘approve’ my experience. After speaking with their ‘support team’ I was left feeling offended. With all the reputable events I’ve managed across the world they would continue to call me ‘novice’ in my field. Despite over 10 years experience managing across the world they would continue to say that my work doesn’t amount to 3 years. The model makes no sense.

There are far better on demand staffing models out there. Coople employ people that have no experience in hospitality, they are rude and provide no help.

I would stay away and use other on demand channels

Katastrophales System!

Ich verzweifel langsam.. Ich habe 6 Jahre Berufserfahrung und eine Weiterbildung in einem Berech, arbeite seit 2 Jahren selbstständig in dieser Branche und bin an der zweiten Weiterbildung. Trotzdem wird mein Jobprofil nicht freigeschaltet. Auch andere Jobprofile werden trotz KV Ausbildung nicht freigeschaltet. Trotz mehrmaliger Kontaktaufnahme meinerseits, Arbeitszeugnissen, Referenzen und CV wird kaum ein Jobprofil bestätigt. So viel gewollt und nicht gekonnt, ich halte mich nun fern, wenn man mit mir kein Geld verdienen möchte.

Things that I like about Coople is that is easy and efficient to use, with the App is very practical und smart. What I would suggest is that you should put more prepositions for work in the nursery profession (Pflege) and a lot more opportunities in the city of Bern directly. What I would also like to see is a possibility to work Temporarily somewhere for a motion or two, or for few months, and not only to have a Nofall-Pool assignments for a day or two. Also the payment I find it comes very late. Everything else is very good, creative und very functional.
